They have a secure out door play area for nice days. He was given a daily report home telling us what he had done that day. The security was very thorough, security doors were closed at all times, you signed your child in and out and no-one could collect your child without id. In terms of price it was about the same as all other nurseries in the area. You could get your reduction from 3 years through this nursery. It had ideal opening hours for those who have to work full time. They did lots of activities with the children and it was a very happy place.

I was a bit scared, because I'm not exactly a musical maestro and I knew I wouldn't be up to a decent standard. But the staff were absolutely lovely and very welcoming, and the violin teacher - Gillian Findlay - was amazing! She could see I was nervous and put me right at ease. Everything she told me was extremely beneficial and she took me through my final two grades. The North East Music School is practically an institution. It has a regular newsletter that I get every 3 months, and regularly host keynote lunches with wonderful music and brilliant speakers. If you are into music then this is your place. There isn't much else like this in the area, so definitely worth looking into.

Two hours later, we had a very happy daughter. A great experience taught by a great instructor. We witnessed it ourselves when being driven around for the last 15 minutes. Next plans: a repeat just before my daughter's 17th birthday and then proper driving lessons, of course with the same instructor.

Approaching walking down the street, I noticed a gate rolled across the driving entrance. Thinking this meant the museum was closed, but wanting to make sure as it was my first time to the museum, I walked down to the street below to see if there was another entrance. On the street below is a walking entrance to the museum grounds with a nature/sitting area. There was not a gate/barricade in place, so I walked up to the museum building. The parking lot was a good size and spots were well marked. The entrance had a sign posted with hours and entrance fees. Turned out the museum was closed both Sunday and Monday, so as I was leaving Aberdeen and heading north on Monday 8 July, I missed the inside of the museum on my July 2019 Scotland heritage travel trip. The grounds were beautiful, well-maintained, and informative on their own.

Overall, it's a nice little gem tucked off to the side behind Vue cinema, and it's definitely worth checking out if you've got a hankering for understanding the city of Aberdeen a bit better or are looking for a few things to do to avoid a rainy afternoon but still get out of the house. I'd visit again if I had folks with me who were visiting Aberdeen!

The views were very enticing from the windows and I enjoyed looking out at the sea from the warmth of the big room! Apparently the dance floor is one of the best in Scotland, if not the UK.
