Coming from someone who isn't the biggest fan of the dentist they made sure I knew everything that was happening and didn't move on until I understood completely. Dr Amato is nice but the staff is totally incompetent at handling insurance claims. You can owe $1,300 one moment, pay $600 and in 6 months time they tell you that you owe $3k. I'm going to their office tomorrow and I'll pay the goddamned extra charges just to stay the hell away from Aberdeen Dental. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE !!! And the insult of it all is I've been coming here for quite some time. Called for an emergency issue hoping to be seen given the discomfort and circumstances. Told they would call me back to schedule an appointment. Called again next day to no avail. Even called on third day and was told no appoints available despite my emergent situation. I honestly wish there was a better way to do reviews. I don't have an issue with the practice itself but the manager, Cynthia is the worst. She is NEVER in the office and on the very rare occasion you can speak to her she is rude and dismissive. She is so bad it makes me question the business decisions of the company in keeping her there. I truly hope someone has a conversation with her about her horrific attitude, lack of customer service, and being completely devoid of any management skills. read more

I can't even begin to express how unprofessional this practice is. On 12/26/17, they were able to fit me in for an emergency appt. Nice, right? I waited an hour in the waiting room and two hours in the procedure room. They had a temp dentist that day. He spoke with me for five minutes, took some x-rays, and left. He left me alone for an hour until finally said he couldn't see me. 12/28/17... I came in for a root canal. I was at this practice for five hours, four of which I was in the exam room and three of which this temp dentist was attempting a root canal. He jammed files into my gums approximately fifty times. I was in excruciating pain, begging for more novacaine. He said that he applied to be an endodontist but didn't get in. It was an involved root canal and after hour two, I suspected that he didn't know what he was doing. He was unable to complete the root canal due to "electronics malfunctions" and frankly, I don't think he had the experience in the first place. 1/5/18 the resident dentist called me, asked me to come in to fix the situation. I had no idea if this other guy had done permanent damage. Dentist I saw today was Khalilah Syrianos-Robertson. For the love of everything, stay away. She defended this guy. She said he did the right thing. He tormented me for three hours. I'm not sure why this practice is still in business. Perhaps people appreciate poor customer service, I don't know. I do know that this was clear abuse and I intend to explore how I can remedy this situation further. I endured an immense amount of physical and emotional trauma and this practice seems to think that's just peachy. read more

When my husband cracked a tooth, they were able to get him in quickly. Great! I went with him since I was off. Needless to say we waited over 20 minutes for him to be called back. Once he was in the chair it took another 20 to 30 minutes to take x-rays. The hygienist took for ever to make a few notes and grab the dentist. Then there was about a 10 minute wait for the dentist to come in. She looked at the x-rays and have him a shot of novacaine, then left for another 20 minutes to attend to another patient. Mine you the novacaine was not injected properly causing my husband severe pain. When she returned, I was asked to sit in the waiting room which I was ok with. I was not ok with waiting for over 2 hours for him to get a temporary crown and pay over $400.00. Flash forward to 26 October when we go in to get his permanent crown... When removing the temporary crown apparently the dentist did not clean the tooth out on the first appointment but did expose a nerve. The dentist completed the permanent crown then said here's a script for amoxicillin. What in the hell is this woman thinking. This is going to end in either a root canal and another crown with a day off of work due to the inadequate knowledge, professionalism and greed of this dentist. Do not choose this office for care, they will rob you blind and give you horrible experiences. The staff may seem friendly but they are not here to give you the best experience or care. Run! The worst customer service I've ever encountered. They barely answer the phone. They rescheduled my appointment twice, causing me to miss a paid photo shoot. This was on top of taking weeks to return my call to schedule the initial appointment and to get information about my account. If my insurance had not already paid them for my service that is still not completed, I would not return to them at all!!!! read more

This practice is one of the worst that I have ever experienced. They nickel and dime you for additional services that are all out of pocket expenses. They also convinced my teenage daughter that she needed Invisalign braces. The scheduling system is flawed as well as the billing system. If you value your time and money then do not give them your business. read more

I Would not recommend this Dentistry. My wife and I where looking for a dentist in the area so we booked our first appointment. They did the usual x rays and cleaning. Everything seemed fine until we received a bill in the mail over $400. Then a few weeks later I received a texted saying I have an appointment that I didn't schedule. Not sure what's going on over there,but we will not be back. read more

While I think that the dentists at Aberdeen Dental Care are highly skilled and talented, I cannot recommend this business. I went to them because I had pain in my tooth and a host of other issues with my neck. After x-rays, they said all of it was caused by grinding my teeth at night. They called my insurance company and gave me a quote. I proceeded to get the custom night guard. When I went to pick it up, they made me pay more than double what they quoted because they initially coded the night guard with 1 number, but when they submitted it to my insurance, they coded it with another, and my insurance covers "night guards," not "reprogramming devices" or whatever the staff was calling it. When I asked them about the difference between the quote and what I paid, they said they could try to submit an appeal. After multiple calls and a letter, they have never followed up. What's more, I have been wearing the night guard for 6 months now, and my symptoms actually came back. During the time I was trying to be seen by them, I was subject to several mix-ups with their scheduling, including an appointment confirmed 3 times and then canceled an hour beforehand. I would not recommend this practice because they just don't seem to have a handle on scheduling and billing. read more
