They have lots of lovely antiques labeled with sale prices, but about two-thirds of the shop are shared with a cafe in the same location. When the cafe is busy, those antiques are inaccessible to shoppers. If we had known about this, we wouldn't have bothered to detour from our trip to stop.

He spoke to us about Springfield with such joy, that I nearly hunted down a real estate guide before leaving town! Seriously, though, he was beyond cool, and it was such an honor to meet him. The shop is full of the usual suspects one hunts for when seeking mementos to take home from a trip. Prices were more than fair. We also had the luxury of staying in an Airbnb above the shop (run by the shop owner's brother), and the whole experience with the family was amazing. Mr. Lincoln's Souvenirs & Gifts is not far at all from Lincoln's home, so definitely swing by for a unique shopping experience alongside a gent who loves his city and its visitors.

Years ago, they had first responders and police departments displaying vehicles and doing fingerprinting for children. A Costco would be nice or a furniture store. Update. Went to the mall today and saw the Christmas trees. It was very well done, I hope for more people to participate next year!! Maybe they could contact a train group and have them set up a christmas train. Or the mall could utilize the empty store fronts and put in some decorations in the windows. When we first moved here, we lived in a rental home while searching for a home to buy. We still needed a few things, like new office chairs, to work on our PCs during this time. We found two nice chairs, both under$20.00 each, that would have been $85-$125, at a brand new office supply store. After we found our Dream Home last month, we realized we wanted to see what they had regarding living room furniture. We hit the jackpot! A local furniture store had donated some brand-new sofas and matching love seats. The style and color went perfectly with our new living room. Needless to say, we bought them. We also scored a three piece coffee and end table set made of metal with beveled glass tops. To top it off, my husband found a new office desk! Our total is with a discount of over 25 %...under $250.00. Yes, we had to rent a U-haul truck; this put our grand total under $300.00. It is late, and our cat is snoozing on the sofa, so I will have to add pictures in a day or two. Those of you who have not checked this place out should do so if you like good deals.
