I have a had repeated phone calls with him where he promise to make good, onetime blamed his secretary for paying out (unverified who she paid out to), and call that just go to his full mailbox. Which included solar insulation, including Betty's, Ac, and DC panel, as well as ceiling lights and roof coating. The total amount of work contracted for was over 25k . About 6 months ago I needed to repair a leak in my radiator, so I took it to Ability Radiator by recommendation of a friend. The process was a bit slow because cores for this type of vehicle (1985 Toyota Van) are more difficult to source, as well as some family problems on the owner's end. I was patient, and they were thankfully very communicative, but overall it took about 4-5 weeks from dropoff to pickup for the radiator to be re-cored. I reinstalled the part and it's been about 6 months with my repaired radiator. We've had no problems at all after several thousand miles and I'm thankful for my experience with Ability. Boat in the water at the Bidwell launch loaded for a floating campsite weekend And boat wouldn't start. John happened to be there and offered to help. 3 kids and 2 adults weekend was saved! John diagnosed my boat issue and turned out it was a bad coil. He actually towed us to his houseboat and gave me the coil off his boat to use for the night to get to our campsite. I had been taking my car here for quite some time now and was always satisfied with the service, but recently I am very dissatisfied. I had an oil leak and was told I needed a valve cover, so I went ahead and had it put on. The next day I checked my oil and it was a quart low, so I took it back in to see what was going on. I was told that the mechanic just forget to fill the oil up and they filled it up for me. Well, not even a month later, the oil was a quart low again, so I took it back to be told it was now leaking around the cam. At that point, I was feeling a bit skeptical, so I took it to a highly recommended shop and was told that a leak around the cam can only be seen when inside the valve cover meaning it should have been seen while the new valve cover was put on. Also, most all the other seals were leaking as well. They showed me the car up on the rack and there was oil all up under the car. The new place ended up having to go back into the same place Ability had recently just replaced to fix all these things they failed to notice at the time costing me more time and money. What a nightmare!! They have lost a very loyal customer. read more
