I brought in some items for them to look at and I didnt mind the fact that they spoke another language and also that they weren't interested in my amp because it was as older model. I showed this older man two JBL speakers in the back of my vehicle and within seconds he said oh no, not for me guy and didn't even tell me why, I had to ask. He said they were too old but you can buy these speakers brand new. Very condescending, I recommend near but shops that actually treat you with respect. But just to clarify, it was only the old, skinny guy with the shaved or bald head. read more

I visited able pawn shop about 2 years ago I was down on my luck and living at pads and had a job interview the next day I had a ring it was the only thing of value I owned,I went to several pawn shops in the area the most I was offered was 10 dollars,I had my girlfriend go to able pawn,I told her take whatever they offered,she explained the situation to them,and in order to help they gave her 50 dollars , because of that generous offer I got to my interview and got the job soon after I was able to save up to get a place to live and a new car, thanks able pawn!!! read more

The prices here are almost laughable. Took my phone in with me to check retailer price and they were maybe 10-20 dollars lower on bose sound systems than brand new with warranty. They were selling an old circa 2005 system for 150. I just bought one of these at another pawn shop for 45 bucks. I guess they want the stuff more than they want to sell it. I would not suggest going to this place if you are looking for a bargain. read more

WOW VERY IMPRESSED! They bought my Rolex watch and handed me cash. Was not expecting that, I thought they would give me a check. The service was unbelievable. A gentleman that works there stood on one side of me and a lady on the other while I counted it. The lady said he will walk you to your car when you are done and if he can't I will. I have lived in this area my whole life and always knew of Able Pawn Shop but never went because I was skeptical. I commend your professionalism and great customer service. Liars and con artist,went there looking for a labtop so I finally find the one that I want and they tell me with tax it will be 200 dollars out the door,then ten minutes later another employee says "ill do one better I'll take off the sales tax" with that said it should already be lower than $200.so as time went by the manager comes up and tells me that without sales tax it will be $200 and with tax included it would be $216 when the other employee told me $200 out the door and the other clearly stated that he will take off sales tax.The previous labtop I wanted they went in the back and found a carrying case for it with no hesitation....so the labtop that I was going to currently buy the employee told me that they didn't have a case for it,dint even ask or look just said they don't have one so I asked which other labtops have cases because I needed a case also,he turns around and point to the labtops from the same shelf that he got the labtop off of that I wanted.then when I call hiss bluff out he basically looks dumbfounded when I tell him I no longer want this labtop since it has no case show me the other labtops with cases and that's when he beats around the bush for a while and basically tells me that none of the labtop have cases when he clearly said they did.So it was just a very irritating time there and to be lied to from the manager and two of the employees is clearly why they didn't get ANY money from me if you go here be on your P's&Q's because they wil lie to you in a heartbeat just to try and upsale you something.SO BE CAREFUL read more
