Sooooo here's the story. I have an interesting brother that is just impossible to buy gifts for. He's just so damn funny, creative and handy- he's usually built, bought or fabricated anything he's ever wanted. Birthday gifts are impossible. So he bought himself an e-scooter. So we thought, "maybe we can trick out his new ride?" For the record, there are NO ways to make an e-scooter cooler. You can't get wheels, or rims, or bells....nothing! Then we thought of a new paint job. (That doesn't work either.) UNLESS, you happen to come across a business and owner like Frank at Able Sand Blasting. This guy came up with powder coating the pole that connects the scooter to the handle bars. He did this over the phone, sent us multiple samples, and we landed on some kind of crazy coat like, "Midnight Stars," or some amazingly ridiculous and awesome swatch. We shipped Frank the part, he did multiple coats, took pics, and ultimately gave us the best and funniest customer service I've ever received. He then shipped it (out of state) and it landed the day before my brother's birthday. Needless to say, it was a HUGE success. My brother "peacocked" his new ride to work, to neighborhood parties, I think he even rode it to a wedding. Although I would have paid anything for this whole project- I honestly felt like I underpaid. Save yourself some time (and money) and go here first and know you got 5 star quality, 5 star service and 5 star hilarity. Frank is a blast....no pun intended. So they refinished 2 large patio tables, 2 smaller ones, 12 chairs including 4 swivel rockers, and a couple of stools. My first color choice was a darkish green with gold/bronze highlight. It came out a solid color and they happily (and I mean they encouraged me to change the color if I didn't like it) re-did the furniture. They told me the big work was in the sandblasting and a color change wasn't too bad a job. I upgraded the color and I am glad I did. Then they delivered the whole job to my house saving me two trips to their shop. Great shop. Great job. I recommend them highly! read more

I called and ask them how much to powder coat a golf cart roll cage. They said approximately $150. I sent it down and they said that it would be $150 to $175. When we picked it up the price was $225. No explanation of nearly a 30% increase. No negotiation as the "boss" wasn't in. I got ripped off. Never use these crooks again. read more
