I was lucky enough to catch Arthur on one of his brief visits to Houston and I am so glad I did! Frankly put, I often come away from the headshot process looking through photos and feeling as though I have to pick the least of a bad selection. Admittedly I can be very critical of my own photos. But somehow, I came away from the session with Arthur with so many great choices that I ordered extra! We had such a short time together (because I elected for a very brief half hour session) but he was so well prepared that I felt we got more done in that short time than previous 2 hour sessions with other photographers. I shrugged in complete disinterest when my daughter told me she had a session for headshots. Years we've been doing this. Years I looked through proofs with an "eh" and allowed her to choose the lesser of the awkwardly posed, uncomfortable faces with a small "I paid for this?" grumble. My daughter had such a GREAT experience! From getting her natural looks makeup on to posing for the photos. The makeup was flawless, natural and perfect for my 12 years old daughter. I'd never had headshots done before, or had a photography session, and Arthur was very helpful and patient with my various questions and concerns. The shoot itself was very relaxed and efficient in terms of time, without making me feel hurried as I swapped out various items of clothes -- which he helped me choose, with an eye for contrast and color that I lack. Ive known Arthur the past few years after he reached out to me in his start up of photography. We both looked at the first shoot as a starting point and practice, him with photography, and me with modeling. My teen daughter had head shots done by Arthur this summer. The turn around time was so fast! The online gallery of proofs was easy to navigate and the packages offered were very generous with the number of selections we could have edited.
