Our wedding was on September 22nd(So a few days ago).. We haven't even gotten the professional pics yet(going to take about 4 weeks), but I already know for a fact that we will love them. Awesome - I looked long and hard for the perfect photo booth to document the craziness of my birthday party and I could not be happier with the outcome. I even went to the Austin Wedding Extravaganza - I am NOT even engaged to test out different photo booth companies and get a feel for the quality of pictures. I posted this review on Weddingchannel.com, but I use Yelp A LOT more, and I wanted to share my review on here in case a bride or groom browsed Yelp. No matter how low key you try to keep a wedding, it's gonna be REALLY busy the day of. Max Photography did a great job setting up and running the booth the day of the wedding - I barely remember them asking me anything! In addition it was a total hit at the wedding. EVERYBODY wanted to get in there multiple times to take pictures. They even print out two strips - and in our case - we asked our guests to leave a strip for us in a guestbook with a sweet message... and the next day we had a wonderful guestbook to look through. PERFECT! I completely recommend using them for any event, especially a wedding. Smooth operators. Plus, every guest looks amazing with the lighting that they have set up in the photo booth. The booth is sturdy, the print quality is exceptional, and they props they bring really add some action to the photos. read more

My husband and I couldn't be more pleased with Max Photography. Justin and his colleagues are personable, professional, and very, VERY good at what they do. Our wedding photos are beautiful and true to the spirit of the day. In addition to doing an excellent job on the standard wedding pics, the Max Photography team has an eye for what is important to the bride and groom. They know how to capture moments that, in less capable hands, would have been lost. Communication with MP was always prompt and thorough. Folks, I didn't realize how important this was until after all was said and done, so let me elaborate. Outside of your wedding planner (if you have one), your photographer is going to be up in your business more than any of your other vendors. Before the wedding you should have a consultation with them and (if you choose) work with them for your engagement photos; during the wedding, they have to wrangle your whole family, be there for all your more personal moments, and figure out who else is important to you so that they take enough photos of them; after the wedding, you have to communicate with them about your photos/albums, etc. Max Photography was so good about all of this... my husband and I lucked out. We are so grateful to Justin and Sloane for their hard work. Thank you both for helping to make our day special, and for preserving memories that we'll cherish for the rest of our lives. We used Max Photography for their photo booth for our wedding after they were running a special on Groupon. It was one of the few things my husband insisted on, so I was so happy to make it happen. Max Photography was at the venue and set up before the bridal party arrived. They brought a box of fun props for people to use and there was almost always a line to get in. We also opted for them to bring a memory book for people to leave a strip of their photos and write in some notes for us. What can I say about Justin and all of the folks at Max photography....So many wonderful things, really! My husband and I just got married on March 5th and had our reception the following day on the 6th. We came across a fantastic deal through Groupon for the Max Photography photo booth rental and had that at our reception at the Parish. This was by far, the best money spent on anything at the reception. Almost all night, there was a line of people waiting to get in to take pictures. The machine prints out 2 pictures: one for your guest to keep and one for them to leave with you. We made it so people wrote a brief note on a library card and stuck that and the picture in a pocket for us to keep. We did that in lieu of a guest book, which was way cooler! Also, the quality of the pictures is so much better than any photo booth pictures I've ever taken, and they give you a box of free props to use! Many weeks after we had booked the booth for the reception, we also ended up asking Justin to be the photographer at our wedding at the French Legation Museum. It is next to impossible to find a reasonably priced wedding photographer and we had tried and tried. In fact, the moment you attach the word "wedding" to anything, the price shoots through the roof! Justin and his team were so friendly and professional and we hardly knew they were there. He even met us a few weeks prior to the wedding at the venue to talk about various details. Without mentioning exactly what we spent, I'll say it was WAY under what other photographers would charge for doing a wedding. If you're having a simple, relatively small wedding and you want to be able to afford to have someone photograph it for you, Justin is your man for sure! Or, if you're having a huge, extravagant wedding, he's your man for that, too! I can't recommend this company enough! Max Photography's booth is much better than the average too, they are very good quality pictures as well as a very good quality clean photo booth. I have to say Justin was just incredible to work with. His follow up was great. I even had our own logo made and he had it put on the photo strips. Justin did a wonderful job and gave us EXACTLY what we wanted. He really listened to us and got it. I'm not sure how he does it, but the feel of the photos is warm and happy. Something about how he develops the colors ~ they have a saturated feel that is lush and inviting.
