A few weekends ago we had a sweltering hot day and my wife and I stopped by to pick up paint and supplies only to find that the store had closed due to the hot temperature. Apparently the store didn't have a working Air conditioner. I felt inconvenienced but understood. Temps were reaching 100 and I figured their AC had just broken. Stuff happens. Yesterday it was 90 degrees. Again I stopped by for some paint and supplies only to find the very same sign posted in the window. This was probably two weeks from the first time the sign was up and I was upset. Either they've had two weeks to fix the AC and simply haven't, or they fixed it and it broke again. Either way it's aggravating.

I get overwhelmed by the many types of fruit, veggies, flowers, and trees they offer. The service is hit or miss, but when picking starts, I want to be left alone and take it all in. Just tell me where to find what I want and go away. That might sound harsh, but anyone who takes gardening seriously, I think will understand. It's almost like a good meditation. Breathe deeply and take it all in. It does wonders for your mental health. I'd like to say it's pricey, but I hear how expensive plants are at every other place from Home Depot to Hicks.
