I can't rate how the adjustment would be because they charge about $220-$250 just to do an assessment and X-ray of you before you even get an adjustment. I paid the $40 fee for the first assessment and then they wanted $168 for x-rays in addition to that before an adjustment(which the adjustment is an additional fee) . Had I known that I would have skipped the $40 assessment. I could have had 3 adjustments at most places for that price. I've been to many chiropractors over the years, at least a couple dozen and you don't know if they are good or bad until you've actually had an adjustment. Spending that kind of money on an unknown is a no go. The plus is all the techs were very kind. The read more

I came to Dr. Morningstar after an extreme back injury left me in serious distress. I had x-rays taken, and within a couple of days I had a consultation appointment with Dr. Morningstar who explained what he found and gave me his plan of action. I have been to a chiropractor several times over the years and so I was aware this intake process takes time. Every patient's situation is different and the doctor needs to see what's going on with your back before jumping right into an adjustment. I started out three times a week, but as I improved. I went to two times a week, then one time a week, then one time every other week, and that's where I am now. I expect that soon I will go to one time a month for maintenance. Dr. Ryan has made an absolutely huge improvement in my quality of life. The staff at Above All Chiropractic is extremely professional, extremely accommodating and have never failed to assist me when I had a question. I found that if I schedule more than one appointment at a time, I have no problem getting the appointment time that I prefer. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

I have been going to Dr. Ryan for about 3 years and he has made a big difference in my life! I wasn't able to turn my head from side to side without pain, with adjustments over time my neck has better range of motion. Everyone who works at the office is very friendly and the waiting time is minimal. I highly recommend Above All Chiropractic to anyone looking for pain relief. read more

Knew when I walked in the commercialization of chiropractic was be not a good match. Spent over an hour getting "assessments" and then told I was not going to be getting an adjustment. read more

We walked into his booth by the Convention Center downtown South Bend. There was a sign that said, Free Consultation. Dr. Morningstar was very nice and attentive. I setup an appt. X-rays ($105) were taken at the appt., however, I didn't get to meet with Dr. Morningstar. His appt. times were very limited. read more

We are a family run, referral based Chiropractic Center that specializes in specific, scientific chiropractic care for the entire family. Meet the Business Owner: Dr. Ryan M.

Dr. Ryan knew from a young age that it was his purpose in life to help people heal and function the way they were designed to. He began seeing a Chiropractor as a young boy. He was experiencing low back pain and neck stiffness. He had experienced amazing results while seeing his Chiropractor regularly. It wasn't long before he realized that he wanted to be a Chiropractor when he got older. Dr. Ryan began to chase his dream of becoming a Chiropractor at Indiana State University where he earned a his Bachelor of Science in Biology. Shortly after graduation from Indiana State University, Dr. Ryan and Brittney were married. They then moved to Davenport, Iowa as Dr. Ryan was accepted into the Doctorate Program at Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Ryan and Brittney had their first child during his second year at Palmer College of Chiropractic. They called to reschedule due to insufficient staffing. The week before the new date, they called again to reschedule due to insufficient staffing. A friend suggested I get the draw at the beacon hospital. I went to the hospital to schedule a blood draw and was informed that I had to call scheduling foran appointment, but they could take walk ins. I waked in the next day and got my blood draw, but the staff told me they would not be able to take walk ins once the new wing was completed due to work load. I reviewed my blood test on line to find they had only done half the testing the doctor requested. I went back to Granger to get new orders to take to Lab Corp, and they said they could work me in the next morning between patients. The next morning I went to the Granger lab and I was the only patient there. meanwhile, my wife was experiencing the same problem, and they told her to go to Lab Corp. In December, I needed to schedule more bloodwork, and asked if I should go to Lab Corp. Beacon assured me they had hired more phlebotomists abd the problems were over. Feb 12 I received a text telling me to rescdule my April blood draw as they did not have enough staff to cover it. They are unreliable, incompetent, and confused.

Recently I had a very disappointing experience with this practice. I went for a medication checkup, and my provider was adamant that I receive a pap smear. I was caught off guard and declined for that specific appointment, and wished to come back at a later date when properly prepared. At that time, my doctor continued to pressure me, which was extremely uncomfortable as a patient. My doctor seemed very unsatisfied with my personal choice about my body. I called the office because I still felt quite unsettled and voiced my concern. No reply. About a week later, I received a letter that I had been released as a patient due to a breakdown in the relationship. If the doctor's approach had been different, I would have complied. I believe patients have a right to make informed decisions about their own health, and I felt that my boundaries were not respected in the slightest. This experience was unsettling and felt unprofessional. I expected a level of trust and open communication from a healthcare provider, but instead, I felt dismissed simply for exercising my right to choose. I would not recommend this practice to anyone who values patient autonomy and respectful patient care. Women (and men) deserve compassionate care with patience and humility and this practice does not meet expectations.

Had some problems with Dr. Meier and the other doctors. The first incident happened when my son…read more*Now 2 1/2 was 6 months and was running a temp of 105 degrees. We called in the morning and they couldnt see him until 4. We ended up taking him to SJRMC ER where he had a Doctor in the room as soon as we got to the room. It took them awhile to get his fever down but was later discharged. The second time was my son was having difficulty breathing he was 7 mo old this time. Im an EMT and they acted like nothign was wrong with him. They wanted just to send him home. I had to INSIST on them checking his SP02 "Oxygen saturation" it was 82% which shows severe respiratory distress. After getting a breathing treatment and being prescribed a nebulizer he did good. You shouldnt have to be the one to tell the Doctor somthings wrong when a baby is using accessory muscles to breath. We transferred to South Bend Clinic Granger Campus. His Primary is now Dr. Hickey. They even have afterhours urgent care just for their Peds Pts.

It was obvious that he cares not for older people I don't think of me being old, but, by the time he was done talking and acting like he knew it all, I felt what most older people feel. I am so impressed that the kids are seen at appointment time, in and out with a cleaning and the Dentist was present & on time. The ladies explained everything going on for the parents and my kid loves he gets to lay down and watch a movie, then a prize at the end of the appointment. Not Dr. Kilgore..she checks EVERYTHING to make sure all is currently well with my children and also goes over preventative care that should be done. We saw her today and I've never been so pleased to see what an amazing job she does. She is someone who genuinely cares about her patients. I've never seen her without a smile on her face nor have I ever met a Dr that will take as much time needed to explain things to the children, as well as their parents. She remembers us every time we step foot into the office and makes us feel so comfortable. My son ADORES her. He loves seeing his favorite Dr, as he would say. She sits down, chats with him about school or what's new in his life. I couldn't be more grateful to have her as a dentist for my son. She always asks how I'm doing and always offers a helping hand. It means so much to myself and my son. There need to be more doctors and people like her in general. She is a genuine kind hearted person. Not to mention our hygienist is so sweet and is someone who is very experienced. We have her every time we are in and absolutely love her and what a wonderful job she's done.
