Women and young ladies of all ages were there pouring over the racks, all quite giddily announcing their finds and oohing and aaaahing over each other's selections. The shop's owner was busily taking care of several customers at a time by answering questions or ringing someone up - he never got a break! I used to own a vintage store and being in this shop gave me pangs of fond remembrance of the joy of vintage - both selling and buying. Tourists and locals alike were intermingled going through the racks that had both vintage and some high brand newer pieces in reasonable price points. Nothing too costume-y, just cool girl looks. We have bought a few things there one was a RCA 1972 television set. The people who work there are so nice and so helpful if you're looking for art or that special thing, I would definitely recommend Misty's Consignment some of the things are expensive, but the quality is even more valuable. Your art specialist has no talent for doing her job- she's rude and ignorant. If she can't google it she can't and doesn't establish a value to anything. She has no knowledge of art valuation, which allowed me to buy 2 under valued pieces, and prevented me from selling several others. -Stop damaging items entrusted to you for consignment. I saw the movers damage a coffee table, and laughed and said "oh man...oh well." And find a vendor that will AFFORDABLY transport consigned items to sell and when purchased- your relationship with S&D movers is a rip off! $175 hour + a two hour min. $350 just to drop off a consigned item. I emailed you to verify if that was correct, and the unsigned response ignored the question entirely- and asked "Have we approved the items you wish to bring in?" Again- drop the attitude and answer the question. Lastly, your customers are your best consultants- you are becoming a carbon copy of The Estate Sale Company.
