I love Revival stores ! I love it because they carry furniture. Especially mid mod style furniture at good prices . On this visit, I was looking for a gold bar cart. They did have bar carts, but not in gold so I will keep checking and hopefully find one very soon. My wife and I purchased a bracelet at the Palm Desert location and we were told that we had two days to return it if any issues arose. Later that evening we were getting dressed to go out, and when she attempted to put the bracelet on, it snapped in half. We took it back to the store and initially, we were treated very rudely by an employee in an elf hat who treated us like we were mentally challenged. We waited to speak with Martin, and he told us we had to speak to a different manager because the purchase was over $35. The manager we spoke with was a younger man, who was very curt with us. We were told they would not accept a return because it was "donated jewelry." We told him that we were told we had two days to return it when we made the purchase and the manager pointed out that the receipt stated that was for clothing only. We read the receipt and it did indeed say that, and they refused our request to allow us to have store credit toward the purchase of other jewelry, despite the fact that we were told the day before that they would honor a return for two days after the purchase. We are tourists from out of town and went to Revivals to look for bargains, as well as to support their charitable efforts in the local community. However, we must warn others of the dishonesty that we encountered, and to state emphatically that the term "Caveat Emptor" definitely applies here. There was definitely dishonesty on their part on the first day we were there, which was then compounded by their refusal to meet us halfway and allow us to replace the defective item they sold with other items in the store. The store was clean and didn't have that smell funky BUT The prices were way out of line, I was looking at a used paperback book which you could buy online right now for $9.99 and they had it for sale for $10 with a sticker on the back that said a $1.99 from Goodwill Clothing, same situation, used crap price higher than you would buy it on the sale rack at Target or Kohl's. DONOR BEWARE! I have been donating to this store for years. Today I decided to clean out my storage been of a lot of good items. I loaded my car trunk and back seat with household items and garden tools. When I got there their trash bin was full and I noticed a lot of nice things that they were throwing out like hardcover cook books, and novels and sitting on top was a beautiful Christmas spray in perfect condition. While driving home to load the car with the second load. I was thinking about them throwing things away. When I returned with the second load I noticed the bin had been empty and I looked in and there was two of my items in there. One was a very expensive laptop desk stand with keyboard. I called the guy over and started to complain and said I want it back. I also noticed a very nice looking air fryer. The guy went in and got my item and then another guy came out and verbally giving me excuses that we have too much stuff now and we only take high end items and that they had no room for things we are donating to help the needy. I also remarked when I saw one shoe handing by it's lace on a hook inside the bin that you are also throwing away shoes that we donate to the needy? He came back at me with we do when there is only one shoe. Now I am not an idiot and know that the person who donated the shoes did not donate one shoe! He then got nasty with me and said if you see anything else in there you will have to go in there yourself, and there I was standing, leaning on my cane for support and he told me to climb in myself. I left there telling him I will take the carload I now had to Habitat. I should have taken it all back, and regret it. God only knows what else they threw away before I returned. If they have too much then they should tell the donor that they are overstocked and take it to another facility. You might want to think about leaving your items at other facilities that will gladly take your donations and not just treat them like garbage and not giving the shoes that are needed for the homeless. I will never give Revival another thing! You should also consider doing the same. read more

This place is huge! It is also literally a block from Angel View Palm Desert store. I feel they're both about the same except this place is bigger. The process are about the same which to me is ridiculous for used items. Even Goodwill is upping their prices. Anyway this place was clean. Everything was marked Ann's the signs were clear with their prices. They have way more furniture. They have a new furniture store in there as well with reasonable prices. The service was fine. There isn't a dressing room so it will have to try the clothes over your own. They do have a 2 day return so if it doesn't fit you can return it. read more

I found a whole bunch of Bob Mackie women's clothing but it was mostly size small or extra small. Otherwise the brands were mostly lower end brands from Target, Walmart and the like. I enjoy all the Revivals locations. This one seems to have the best selection of artwork and donated designer clothes, but they are all fun to shop at because you never know what you will find. This location has plenty of parking, with donations located behind the store. Staff is friendly and helpful. This location got a recent upgrade with new flooring and is more efficiently organized now, so it seems cleaner and more spacious. The donations are for a great cause, AIDS. read more

Recently reopened and following strict Covid-19 safety guidelines. There are three Revivals locations in the valley. We recently purchased a vacation home in Cathedral City and have been to the Palm Desert location several times to look for furniture, lighting, and decorating items. Used items can be hit-or-miss, depending on the donations made, however the new furniture (Mode and Scott Brother products) seem to be good deals, especially when they have a sale. This weekend, we purchased a couple of end tables that we're re-purposing as nightstands in the guest bedroom and a small desk top office lamp. In the past, we purchased bedroom furniture that my wife repurposed into mid-century modern items for our master bedroom. Employees are very friendly and go out of their way to help you. They don't deliver but will help you get items out to and into your vehicle or they can refer you to a local delivery service. Revivals is a community-focused company and 100% of their profits benefit the Desert AIDS Project. read more

If you like thrifting then you'll LOVE Revival! It's hands down the cleanest most modern thrift store I've been to. It's crazy because I've never heard of it until I stumbled across it while going to dine in the area. I've been coming to Palm Springs for decades and only knew about Angel Thrift. But Revival is quite literally a gem!!! Home decor and jewelry and furniture and media and shoes and of course clothing! And the cherry on top is that the pricing on things like furniture and jewelry is insanely affordable and almost unbelievable in today's thrifting market. The clothing section always has something interesting--found a couple of vintage pieces that are now staples in my closet. It's pretty organized, which makes digging around easier, and the prices are solid. Definitely one of those places where you go in "just to look" and end up leaving with a bag of stuff. I have shopped at this location since they moved to this location, after being out near the freeway. I've known many employees and volunteers here for years, still very much missing Tom. My gripe??? The IMHO ridiculous prices on so many items; clearly someone is absolutely clueless, which is the only reason I will even walk in the store. I've seen items stay in the store for weeks because I apparently am not the only one who is concerned about prices, but here's the thing, I've purchased two items recently, one a $2,000.00 value for $15 and another $850 item for $17.50. It just clearly demonstrates someone is clueless about pricing. I don't believe this is a Revivals Corporate policy, but a store location, possibly management at this location. Indio, Cathedral City and Palm Springs is a joy always, items seem to be priced to move, but in the past year or two, I can barely stand to walk into the PD store due to their prices; prices many times I simply personally find ridiculous! And NO, I will not spend $35 on a old pair of worn smelly shoes, I simply won't (I am a bit sensitive to smells). read more

Tried to buy a little picture I liked but it didn't have a price. Took it to the counter and they said there was no one there to price it and didn't know when there would be one. Took it away from me and put on a table behind cashier. I asked if he would hold for me until it was priced. He wouldn't do and was not nice about it. Went back two days later and it was gone. Seems to me there should have been someone in the store that could have given me a price or at least hold for a day. read more

Revival stores is like a representation of Savers you are technically not saving money and it is not thrift stores prices. Everything is over priced especially the dresses and furniture. One dress is over $40 dollar and it is has been marked used. Furniture is over $200 dollars and it is not new. At this point I rather buy new than buy used. There isn't much selection for juniors and it is mainly filled with older women clothes. If you are looking for older women clothing this is the place for you. Some of the clothes have holes and it is priced higher This one of the stores that I will skip from not going on since the price is on the higher end with no good quality. read more

There are quite a few one star reviews I noticed about this place. I went there yesterday and bought a few things. The woman behind the counter with a short bob haircut and brown hair who is always taking care of all the jewelry has really bad energy. Every single time I have had to deal with her it is the same thing. No customer service. Just simply odd behavior. She is not friendly whatsoever. She is not a good example for this store. She either does not like people, does not like her job or something and this has been going on for a long long time with her. I am sure I am not the only one that feels this way towards this person... Makes me not even want to go back as I can take my money anywhere and be treated better. read more

Most associates are superb, except for the cashier (older lady with black/silver hair and round glasses). She's extremely rude to customers specially the Spanish speaking ones. Most of the customers I saw in line are Spanish speakers and she was extremely unprofessional, obviously making the difference between the white patrons and the latinos. The treatment was uncalled for. If she doesn't like her job maybe she should look else where, maybe in a place we're there's only white folks? Truly disappointed since I'm all up for supporting these stores big cause but as a Latina myself it makes me not want to support anymore nor recommend to others. It was 5:22 PM. They close at 6 PM. Multiple people working in the back. Loading and unloading a trailer. Door rolled up. Place was obviously OPEN. Had two duffle bags and a few other items UNLOADED when a very rude employee/volunteer said "we aren't taking donations". 112 degree heat dragging everything back to the car. THIS is how you lose customers!! Be clear about your hours and if someone has already unloaded the donations don't tell them AFTER the fact. read more

I have watched the Revival Stores grow and change over the years. They are always there for me, and I for them. They are one of the nicest of thrift stores around, and there are many. This location is the latest of their store openings, and one that amazes. You feel as if you are walking into a department store rather than a conglomeration of cast off goods. The presentation is beautiful. This store is far from ordinary. There is a whole large section of consignment merchandise featured that commands a pretty penny especially for a thrift store. But if you are looking for that one of a kind, high end outfit that would easily fetch many many hundreds of dollars, or more, if brand new, their donated consignment clothes will simply blow you away. Be prepared for price tags in the $200 range, but if it fits, you look like a million dollars. These are gently used, lovingly presented, gorgeous. They also have high end shoes/ hats/purses to complete your ensemble. Keep in mind, this store supports the Aids Project, and is primarily run and supported by the gay community. So when my daughter discovered that a lot of the lovely women's shoes were size 13 and above, she had a good giggle. Now, even if you are not lookiing for expensive clothes and size 13 shoes, there is still plenty for you. The usual household goods, furniture, an occasional antique, books, jewelry and decorator items, in good condition. There is always something fascinating to entertain you, even if you don't spend a penny that day. That is why we keep returning. We never miss a trip to all their stores when we are in town, and would much rather support them, for all the good they do for the community, than most of the other thrift and consignments stores around. read more
