I used them several times and we had a new garage door opener installed 2 years ago and every summer in the afternoon we cannot close our garage door. Called and was told that it was the sun interacting with the sensors that they could come out and look at them for $80 and I said I wouldn't pay that and was told the owner would call me the next day, but after close to 2 weeks no call. I had recommended them in the past but can't anymore because I feel this is an installation issue and shouldn't charge me for an issue they knew about. read more

I was not completely satisfied with the installation of our new garage doors. The doors are good and the lift master openers are good, but the installation seemed rushed and short cuts were made. I heard A&B did a good job, but was less than impressed. We've resently sold the house and I had to have the sensors installed correctly before selling. I will not be calling A&B to install doors on our new home. What a shame. Just a few more hrs of work to be sure your customer is satisfied and you would have gotten a 5 star review. read more

This is the place to call if your (ATTACHED) garage door suddenly decides not to close during the next polar vortex :-o Dave was SUPER helpful with me over the phone and really tried to rule out anything simple for the malfunction before just trucking out so I could pay to have someone point out cobwebs blocking my sensors. Very cool, and I can say the last place we called (when we didn't know any better) didn't even begin to try and help us like that. Not only did he do that with me, he helped me do the emergency release so I could get everything patched up from the cold. The next day he was out as scheduled, and was able to not only fix the issue (new sensors), and check everything else out, he did it for a spectacular price. He's extremely knowledgeable too. I feel like I learned all about our doors, which is nice since it's a new house that I'm still pretty unfamiliar with. Same day appointment as my call. Very accommodating. Showed up exactly at the time appointed and got right to work. Quoted the exact price from the phone to replace the springs on the door which broke. However, said he recommended replacing the cables as well for another 50 dollars. Reluctantly I agreed because he is the professional. 15 minutes later he knocks on the door and says to forget about the cables because the existing ones were in excellent repair. He could've easily took the money and replaced them anyways but he was HONEST!!! Very rare in today's world but the one thing I look for and treasure. Thank you Above and Beyond.
