The contracting and scheduling process was efficient and the team started on time and was courteous to neighbors. The team, led by Abraham, worked incredibly hard and carefully. We have underground electrical and irrigation lines as well plants in full bloom that they navigated with care. Abraham consulted with us whenever there was a choice to be made (ie: slope lines) and we took his advice each time - his recommendations produced a far better product than what we had initially requested. Abraham recommended and changed the orientation of our door so it would be more safe for our family. A true pro who was not just doing the job but ensuring the family behind the gates are better off in the long run. Originally, I gave this company a five star after they replaced my backyard fence. But unfortunately, I have to drop the rating to three stars. for the standard backyard fence, the crew did a good job And Finished the job in two days. But for the front yard customized fence it was a little bit struggle. Scheduling and finishing a smaller job between their big jobs was a struggle. Gus came out for the estimate and Edgar came out for the job. I had a really long fence where one post was leaning substantially because the old bracket that it was installed on was broken. Gus quoted me for 3 additional brackets that would be installed on the retaining wall and we went with that. His price was in the middle of the 3 quotes that I got but because he helped me screw in a loose hinge on my fence door the day of the estimate, I decided to go with them. It was a bit difficult to schedule the actual job with them and I had to follow up several times. However, once we solidified on a date, they did show up. The only negative I would say is that one of the new brackets they put on was pushing the fence board out at the bottom and I had to point it out for them to fix it. All in all, the fence looks great now and they even threw in a couple of new boards to fix some old rotting ones. Would definitely consider them again, thank you! read more

Great & professional outfit! Gus was recommended to me by a trusted friend, but I still like to do my home work & had at least 4 fence companies give me a quote and Gus provided a great price. Gus came out and furnished a quote in February and then when replacement of my retaining wall required a bit of re-plan he came by and did a requote. His team was great to work with. They asked questions throughout the process to make sure I was happy with the results and when Plan-A didn't come together as hoped, they rallied with a Plan-B. Wow. These guys built a ~230ft fence in 3 days! They use #1 grade cedar, galvanized nails, with 9ft 4 1/8x4 1/8 posts, set in concrete ~3ft deep. I wanted to wait a little bit to write this review until we had some rain/wind. We recently had high winds and this fence withstood it without issue. For many years, multiple decades to say the least, I have had to contract with several fence contractors. Some of which have been a living nightmare and those who have the necessary skill and integrity. Gus, the owner of his family business, was contacted because I purchased a small parcel of land to add on to my existing property. Prior to the land addition there was an existing cedar fence. Gus, the owner of Above & Beyond Fencing, demolished/removed the existing fence, plus removed a chain link fence used as a dog run. The new rear fence was constructed the Full Panel style, 6' tall fence using true 4 1/8"x4 1/8" Jumbo Pressure Treated Posts and true 1"x6"x6" #1 Red Western Cedar Boards. Complimenting the fence, Gus constructed an extra-wide gate using decorative hinges and handle. The post used to support the gate was the true 6" x 6" post. Not a single complaint, nor was there any pick-up work necessary. Since the fence construction my neighbor viewed the quality of work and has also hired Above & Beyond Fencing. I decided to fence off my garden area (which is about 50' square-ish) with 8' high fencing to keep the deer and bears out. After researching reviews of several different fencing places, I decided to go with A&BF. It was a great choice. They came out the same week to give me an estimate for several different options, all of which were in my budget, and were able to do the work in two days the following week -- fencing the first day, and gates the second day. They were able to re-use the existing posts and just slide taller posts over them, which saved me quite a lot of money. The chain-link fencing itself is very tight and secured at multiple levels, with rails along the top -- it's going to hold up for a very long time. The gates were hung nice and level, so that the gate doors don't fall open to one side or another when unlatched. All of this was done without disturbing the other garden structures I already had in place. I will definitely use them again for future fence projects! read more

Im updating my review to 4 stars overall since Brooke called based on my previous review below and my frustration on not completing the job. Above & Beyond picked up the remaining old fence remnants. ******** 3 stars is an average of my family's overall experience. Above gets 5 stars for quality and workmanship. I'm giving them 1 star for not finishing the quoted job of hauling away all the old fence. They said they couldn't fit everything on the truck so would be back. Ok - understandable. After three weeks and two attempts to gently nag them, the debris is still there. I regret paying the invoice before they hauled all of it away. Now we have to pay someone else to remove which isn't right. read more
