The new fence (on the right) matches the old fence (on the left) perfectly.

I contacted Anthony about removing a row of dead hedges (deadges!) between my yard and my neighbor's yard. He responded less than an hour later, took a look at the project, and I had an estimate in my email within 24 hours. When the time came for the project, he showed up as scheduled, and we ran into a snag: there was a mystery wire (not accounted for by PSE or "CallBeforeYouDig.org"), so rather than getting electrocuted, they had to put work on hold for a couple of days. Eventually after being ignored, Anthony just dug around the fence-post hole and moved the cable. He even suggested using a tiered fence to give my neighbor and I a bit of added privacy. As before (Anthony and Joe replaced a similar set of hedges on the other side of the yard last year), they came in on time and on budget. It's such a relief to have the fire hazard of dead arborvitae replaced with a nice looking fence that matches the fence he installed last year on the other side of the yard. Communication was super easy (I was out of town when they finished construction), and very thorough. Anthony and Joe were the easiest contractors I've had the pleasure tow work with in the past decade.

Diamond Landscapes came to build out a section of fence and gate for us after we had had the old one demolished due to old age. Anthony came in and made quick work out of a pretty tricky situation. There was a rock wall and and existing fence they had to reckon with and make look nice. We have a little dog who likes to get out of this area so we had some concerns with making it secure and aesthetically pleasing. Anthony and his partner did beautiful work and ensured good communication throughout the project and made sure we felt completely comfortable. We really enjoyed getting to know them and we are 100% happy with the work. Thank you Antho

Amazing job! I needed new landscape timbers, gravel and a fence put up in my front yard and Anthony was able to do it all within a reasonable time frame. His estimate was very reasonable and the pride he takes in making sure everything is perfect was a huge bonus. I was overly impressed with the way he installed the fence post - super clean with the concrete being contained. Definitely will be calling again for some landscaping needs in our overgrown backyard.

Ignore the messy yard. We're trying to grow grass in the winter.

We hired Diamond Landscapes to remove an old chainlink fence and install a new cedar fence. The team did a beautiful job. I was really concerned about finding the right contractor, one that did quality work for a fair price and was so happy with Anthony and his partner. The fence is beautiful and Anthony kept us updated on the project start date and what was going on along the way. Near the end of the project, one of the posts was leaning and Anthony fixed it before we had a chance to talk to him about it, and he told us to call him back if we noticed anything like that again. We got the fence installed in Nov 2020 and after several wind storms, it's still looking great!

Anthony did a wonderful job installing a new fence and swinging gate. His communication was consistent throughout and he showed up exactly when he said he would. We have a fig tree that we didn't want to impede if possible and he found a solution that we love. I also changed the style of the fence the day before and he was accommodating all the way. I'd certainly recommend him and would work with him again. Thanks!

Anthony came out and did a perfect fence install that beat our expectations. He understands code (buried utilities) and will help you understand options when deciding on what will be structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing. His quality is top notch (properly set posts, correct fasteners, caps etc.). His fees are competitive and the best of the three bids I received. We are going to work with him for another project on the property. Call him for your next job.

Anthony was extremely communicative and responsive with us before and during the process. The project started and finished on time and throughout the process Anthony made sure to update us on issues and possible solutions as well as progress across different parts of the projects. We really appreciated his flexibility as well. We weren't always sure of what we wanted (fence height and adding a flagstone walkway) and he was patient with us and helped provide some helpful ideas. The finished fence looks amazing including the walkway and four gates he installed for us. We haven't stopped receiving compliments on them. You won't go wrong hiring Anthony for your project.

We just had our fence repaired and new trees replaced by Anthony. We are very pleased with the work that he did and the completed project. Attached are before and after pictures of our fence and trees. Anthony was very professional, did fast work, had reasonable pricing, and had good communication. We will definitely use Anthony and Diamond Landscapes in the future!!! Thank you Anthony

We agreed to pruning after a branch had previously fallen on my neighbor's house, so we wanted the work done responsibly and according to an arborist's recommendations. The tree is also classified as a Tier 2 tree under Seattle code (previously called an "exceptional tree"), which made it even more important that the pruning be done carefully and conservatively. Before any work was done, I hired an arborist to evaluate the tree and provide a report, which was referenced in the contract. Unfortunately, it became obvious afterward that they either never read the report or completely ignored its recommendations. The tree was massively overtrimmed and heavily underskirted to the point that it now looks mutilated. I am genuinely depressed every time I look at it. What was once a beautiful mature tree now looks stripped and unnatural. The company never communicated with us directly before doing the work and instead coordinated only with my neighbor while I was out of town. At no point did they review the plan with us, discuss the arborist recommendations, or confirm the scope of pruning before cutting. To their credit, they did provide a partial refund afterward, but it does not make up for the irreversible damage done to the tree or the distress this has caused. We hired professionals because we wanted careful, informed tree care -- not permanent damage. Extremely disappointed.

We were in stop and go traffic on the Woodinville-Duvall road and he was behind me. I didn't go for 2 seconds so he honked. I waved to him. He then began yelling slurs and names out the window at me, flipping me off, and what was really scary was he was driving what looked like 3 inches my the back of my car. Every time we stopped he would scream that I was a "f---king b--ch". I am a teacher and was literally saying "I hope you have a good day!! We aren't going anywhere and you are being very aggressive! you need to stop!" What he didn't realize was that the name of the company "wizard" was in greenish blue letters on the side of the truck WITH a arborist trailer in the back. Anyway. If someone wants work done by someone with this character, then go for it. He is not a nice person and truly was acting irrational on the road. ***edited to add context: this was completely stopped. The car moved up about 5 feet ahead again within 2 seconds. This was not dangerous again because it was stand still traffic (see above that we were stopped long enough for me to hear you scream at me) regardless of me gesturing that the other car ahead of me ALREADY stopped by the time I moved up, you should never speak to the way you did especially with your business plastered across your truck.

Eastside Tree Works is, by a wide margin, the best of all of them. The experience started before they even did any work. The salesman who came out for the estimate showed up with an iPad, walked the entire property with me, took photos and video of each tree, tagged the ones we discussed, and had a detailed estimate ready before he left. He clearly knew what he was talking about and took real time to talk through what would work best for the trees and the house, not just push a generic package. When he found out I was a military veteran, he knocked a nice discount off the price without me even asking. The crew that came to do the work was just as impressive. A full team showed up with a large bucket lift and worked through limbing up several big Douglas firs, doing conifer cleaning, and taking down two medium-sized trees. They moved like a team that's worked together for years, communicated constantly, and checked in with me more than once while they were up in the trees to make sure they were limbing to the height I wanted rather than just guessing. When I mentioned my chainsaw had been giving me trouble, they took the time to fix it on the spot. What really sealed it was the cleanup. After 25 years of tree work at this house, I've never had a crew leave the property looking better than when they found it, but that's exactly what happened here. If you need tree work done in the Redmond/Eastside area, stop looking and call Eastside Tree Works. Professional, knowledgeable, fairly priced, and genuinely good people to have on your property. I would highly recommend them!

I waited to write the review to see how the trees recover and regrow. The quoting and initial process was very smooth and professional. Their response is fast for both the initial meet-up and providing the quote. Everything was done on their iPad, and quotes sent soon after. The task was also completed quickly. The task isn't significant, and they readily came and finished. The clean-up details are excellent. When done, I observed the flowering plum looked shapely but the katsura looked like a bad haircut. They agreed to come out and trim a stray branch that stuck out compared to the rest of the katsura crown. The katsura never regained a normal tree crown shape. It still looks like a bad haircut will a divot, v-shape at the top. See photo. The flowering plum is growing perfectly well this new spring season. Their cost is competitive.
