Stacy arrived on time, had a fabulous personality and most important to me is that he was a great driver. I have had many bad experiences with taxi and livery services where I white knuckled the whole trip. **** SCAM ALERT ****…read more REMCO CAB RIPPED US OFF Ok, so landed in Savanah for the July 4th weekend and needed to be chauffeured to our hotel. Now I thought about Lyft but happened to see the booth for cabs. I asked the kind lady what fair should be and she uttered $30 to $35 dollars.. Based on Lyft pricing that seemed correct. Since I was tired from my journey I decided not to locate the Lyft zone and grab a cab, BIG MISTAKE ! Folks this is where we encountered THOMAS JONES, this babbling idiot cabbie from New Jersey relocated to Georgia and he had a scam going like no other. We get into his cab and right away this Chowda head started talking up a hurricane storm and I'm thinking SHUT THE F##K up. I'm tired and I just wanna unwind, but it's like we activated the Georgia tourism board and he was telling us everything. Yet as I'm tuning him out I noticed the cab meter almost at the price we were quoted for the entire trip and we're halfway through the drive. I'm thinking WTF we're being ripped off. Then Mr Jones shares were on the short cut new road cause it's faster, Bawahahaha no it's longer so you can overcharge us... I'm pissed now but I suck it up and am dropped off... Now once we're at our destination my better half became infuriated with this scam... So she kicked into overdrive and starts the ambush of Thomas Jones. Yes, the call goes to dispatch center and we do get a confirmation of average price of $3to $35. She explains the scam and demands a refund. After some back and forth with management an agreement is met and we're getting a return of $25 Venmo'ed to us. Then all of a sudden Mr Jones calls and profusely apologizes to us.... What a disappointment yet we overcame adversity from a bad actor in the cab profession... Mr Jones I have three words for you " SUCK A D$$K " !!!!

The WORST $90 I've ever spent. Savannah airport pickup. Woman traveling alone. Driver (van 126) went the longest way possible to bump the fare (added 5 miles ((+$15)) to what should have been a 20 minute drive by two different routes. He claimed traffic was bad and had to take the "back roads" (but his iPad was broken so he didn't have a map to check for travel delays.) MY map said no traffic delays. He reprogrammed the meter while we were driving, bumping the running cost up a few dollars. 40 minutes later UPON ARRIVAL he informed me that he could only accept cash (the van clearly stated that all cards were accepted). He tried to convince me TO GET BACK IN THE VAN to drive with him to an atm of his choice despite the fact that there was an atm right across the street. (declined and walked over to it) When I got back from the atm he had increased the amount on the meter by $5 more dollars. I feel confident in saying that if I had gone to the atm he had wanted me to go to my card numbers would be stolen and my bank account would have been cleaned out shortly after (if we had even gone to an atm). Who tries to coerce a person to get BACK in a taxi? AND he was pissed that I didn't tip him. NEVER AGAIN.
