I've been a loyal client at this salon for over a year and have always gone to the same nail tech. As with many nail salons, even when you have an appointment, it's pretty normal to end up waiting 15-20 minutes for the technician to finish with another client. Today I had a 3 PM appointment and simply called ahead to ask if my nail tech was running behind. I live four minutes away, so if she was delayed, I could just come a little later instead of sitting there waiting. The man at the front desk was incredibly rude and told me that if I "don't have time to wait," I should never come to the salon again, and then hung up on me. I never said I didn't have time to wait. I was simply asking if they were running behind so I could time my arrival accordingly. It's very disappointing that clients are expected to be understanding when the salon is running late, but asking for that same consideration in return is treated as a problem. After being a loyal client for over a year, the way I was spoken to was absolutely despicable. Hanging up on a client is disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable regardless of the situation. Shame on you for treating a loyal customer this way. Yes, my time is important to me, just as your technicians' time and every other client's time is important. That is exactly why I called ahead. Buddy, you should not be in customer service if this is how you handle a very basic question from a client. If this is your salon, I genuinely think you have a long way to go in learning how to communicate with customers and how to de-escalate a simple situation instead of turning it into something much bigger. And if this is not your salon, I sincerely hope the owner is reading these responses, because the way you are speaking to customers publicly is doing the business no favors. At the end of the day, the issue was never about waiting a few minutes. It was about the disrespectful way you handled a simple, reasonable question. And don't worry about me finding another salon. On my first visit, I saw Trinity, and she did a good job .And when I went to pay all I asked was, how much was the nail art and I paid for my service. on my next visit i requested Trinity again and when I got there, they said I didn't have an appointment and they just gave me some random girl and she did my toes and the polish chipped off and peeled off the next day.So I called and asked if I could have the toenails fixed and then I got this text message today while trying to rebook an appointment , I never complained about anything or did not pay for services. The quality of work is 5 stars! That's not my complaint my daughter came in here alone to dropped off for a nail appointment I had booked her. The online prices stated an acrylic set starts at $55 now my daughter wanted French so I knew that would tack on an extra small cost. But she txted me saying it was going to be $73. She was already dropped off and had a special event so it wasn't like we could just have her leave. So I called & spoke to Trinity. She explained they charged an extra $15 for French too which is insane! As well as charge extra for an almond shape of $15 so the math didn't even make sense? This took less than an hr for a tween with very tiny nail-beds. I feel like they could be taking advantage of a young girl going in alone? My friend brings a her daughter here & had a really cute 3D design and really fancy multi color design and was only charged $75 two days earlier. First of all the salon had no plexiglass separators either at pedi or mani stations. The floors & counter were filthy & in disarray & the only visible santitizaiton system was grody Barbicide jars that looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in months. My technician ASSUMED I had acrylic on and immediately took a Dremel drill to my nails when I only had on clear polish. I originally wanted gel nails but when I saw the haphazard way in which she prepared by nails for it I decided on straight polish and no massage instead. I also noticed that the implements seemed re-used in the little blue packs AND an old, tattered & ripped emery board was used on me while she tore my cuticles by her aggressive clipping. The polish job was subpar & when I tried to point this out, she argued with me. And my companion's manicure was similarly disappointing in that she experienced the same issues. We feel this information should be passed along to the AZ Board of Health because of the potential not only for COVID exposure but other hygienic hazards with reusing implements & emory boards. I'm more than willing to pay extra for a new emery boards & packaged, sterilized metal implements. They just need to do a thorough cleaning, straightening up of fixtures & most importantly make visible their B-DICK sterilizers. Update: 3 days later & my manicure is completely peeling off. Went here today and had the worst pedicure I have ever had! My polish is wrinkly!? How in the heck does that happen?! I got a $40 pedicure and my big toenails are now cut at odd angles not straight at all. My skin is snagging on material when it was not like that before. I'm very frustrated as this was for a special occasion and now I have to go somewhere else to get this fixed. Which I can't even get the oddly cut toenails fixed I can only get the polish fixed. Also, I had my two daughters with me to get pedicures and their kids pedicure is $18 and all they did was trim their toenails and paint them. After seeing average reviews, and with my normal nail salon being closed, I decided to give this place a shot. When I walked in, it was clean and they were fairly busy, so I figured that was a good sign. So they started my pedicure first, and they have a couple you can choose from. No price list displayed (which I hate), they give you a pamphlet to look over your options. I went for the #2, which included the callus scrub - $28. As the guy is finishing my mediocre pedicure, a lady comes and starts my manicure - I personally enjoy this, so I was excited! As she's giving me a manicure, she keeps turning around and looking at all the cars passing, not even pretending to care about what she's doing. While she's doing my nails, this lady arrives, she comes in and says her nails have fallen off! That she already had to come get TWO fixed, but another two fell off. She seemed super sincere, but they did not care at all. She eventually left saying she was going to find a new salon because they didn't care/want to help her. Fast forward to my services, I got the worst paint job on my toes and nails! I honestly could have done them myself and been happier. No clean up around my nails, it's sloppy, and uneven. And my pinky toes didn't get any polish. The cost was $42 - not even worth it! read more

I could not understand what he was trying to say to me, and got super huffy and made me feel like an idiot. I WILL NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN!!!!!!!!! This is a standard place for mani/pedi however I have two complaints which will result in my not going back. I was a walk-in for a pedicure and was treated well. 1) Used a dremel on my toe nails to take care of cuticles. If I would have know this, I wouldn't have gone in. I was one toenail in before I realized and it was too late. I feel like thier cuticle cream was watered down so it was ineffective to help ease in the pushing of the cuticles back. 2) Update your pricing...if the wall shows $20, don't give me a menu which the cheapest pedi is $28. I'm fine paying the $28, I'm not fine with the false price advertising on multiple signs you see when walking in. Lets face it, just putting tape/paper over what's on the wall with correct pricing would fix it and tell me the real price before I sit down and commit. With all that being said - if you are ok with dremel, I say go for it. Again, pretty standard. No cuts, no sloppiness, on that day the busty gal sat spread eagle in front of me in a dress which made my pedicure interesting...but they did an ok job. My pedicure wasn't impressive, I left with rough heels and polish that wasn't smooth. I got a gel mani that had already chipped within 24 hours, the lines aren't straight.
