I haven't been here since they moved to the new spot and renamed. Guess it's been quite a while…read more(Waffletopia now). Anyway, I was super excited to try their blue corn waffles. I had to pick between savory and sweet, and the menu is huge with lots of options plus build your own! I went for savory and got it with goat cheese and spinach (built my own). It was delightful. The blue corn is just a tinge sweet so was an interesting mix. The waffle is a decent size but is super filling and dense. I'll have to try some sweet waffles or some different waffle bases next time! That said there are lots of gluten free options as well, so if that's for you, then don't hesitate to come check it out you won't be disappointed. There is indoor and outdoor seating, though in general the place is small-ish and can get crowded during busy times. Parking is also a bit of an adventure, but so is anywhere in that area. The staff is super friendly as well. All in all a great experience and I will be back. I can't believe it took me so long to get here in the first place!

Tried out Tia B's Waffleria in Nob Hill and overall had a mixed experience…read more I ordered the blueberry blue corn waffle along with a honey cinnamon latte made with almond milk. The latte was honestly great--it was super smooth, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of sweetness and cinnamon. Definitely something I would come back for. The waffle, on the other hand, was a bit disappointing. It came out cold, which took away from the overall experience. It had some flavor, especially from the blueberries and the unique blue corn base, but it felt a little flat overall. The butter that came with it was really good though, and once I added it, it definitely helped improve the taste. My friends also ordered waffles, and unfortunately theirs were kind of cold as well and didn't have much flavor either, so it didn't seem like it was just mine. That said, I've been here before and remember everything tasting much better, so I don't think this is their usual standard--this visit just seemed like an off day. Overall, I'd still come back for the latte alone and would give the waffles another shot hoping for a better experience next time.

I confirm his question and he said, "Please follow me." He walked us through the the cluster of filled tables at various stages of service. He then stopped at an empty table and pulled out a chair for my female guest and said, Ma'am." My guest graciously took a seat and thanked the host. I then took a seat facing her. Once we were both seated the Host handed us menus said, "Enjoy your meals" as he smiled and departed from the table and headed back in the direction of the Host Station. Within one minute our Server approached our table, smiled and said, "May I bring you a beverage while you take a few minutes to look your menus?" My guest ordered an Iced Tea with lemon and I requested an Ice water with lemon. The cheerful Server smiled and said, "I will be right back with those beverages and we can then talk about your food questions and decisions. Our server arrived two minutes later and placed our drinks in front of us and asked if we had questions. My guest some up and stated, " I am going to have my favorite lunch entree... the Salmon Berry Salad. The Server asked how she would like her Salmon prepared and my Guest replied, "medium well." The delightful server then looked to me and I spoke up saying, "I would like exactly the same thing with my Salmon also cooked to "medium well." The beautiful salads that were delivered featured a large bowl of epic medley of luscious salad greens with a medium sized Salmon filet grilled to perfection and nestled atop one side of the bowl. The bowl also boasted fresh blueberries, strawberries, candied pecans and crispy onions. Opposite the salmon filet nestled into the top of the salad was a metal portion cup filled with very tasty Balsamic Vinaigrette. The Server kept our beverages filled throughout our meal. When our Server noticed that we had stopped eating she approached our table and asked if she could tempt us with one of their delicious in house made desserts. When we declined, she smiled and asked me if she could bring me a box for the remaining half of my Salad. I thanked her and she was gone and back before we barely realized she had departed. The Server returned with the plastic clam shell for my salad and portion cup and cover for my vinaigrette. She then said, "Why don't you let me containerize you Salad for your trip home while you look over your final lunch print out?"$ As we passed through the Cafe entering and departing we could not help but not some very important elements. The lighted glass cases were filled with a large variety of very tempting desserts to eat in the Cafe or take home and enjoy later. We could not help but notice how clean and well maintained the Cafe was overall. The Vintage Ambiance was also appreciated throughout the facility with many kitchen items displayed in various viniettes that were eye catching. There were also many Varying photos throughout the Cafe that magnified Cafe ambiance throughout the decades. From entry to exit this was a highly positive experience. There were many other menu items I am interested in trying. Thank you to The Range Cafe at 4401 Wyoming Blvd NE for our Delicious Food, Excellent Service and a Clean and Interesting Ambiance as a background in which to enjoy it all.

On entering, the restaurant is visually appealing and interior seating looks comfortable. It was also completely full so we opted for patio seating. The weather was beautiful and the patio covered so it was a perfect day for patio dining. You can bring your dog if dining outside, always a nice find. The patio furniture was not comfortable to us. The table had bars on all four sides at just below knee level that did not allow stretching out your legs. Chairs had no padding, not unexpected for patio furniture, but for such an excellent restaurant I'd like better. Our server, Jaz, was prompt, very friendly and checked on us often. Excellent service overall! We ordered a traditional eggs Benedict that comes with smashed potatoes and a pickled kale salad or slaw. The flavors were excellent, the hollandaise sauce seemed to be made fresh as it had a light fresh lemon flavor. The ham excellent as well. The eggs however were overcooked. They were served poached hard. The seasoning was good, but disappointing due to the over cooking. Jaz offered to have more eggs prepared for us, and on another day we might have had the time. The duty manager, Ray, also offered to have them prepared properly, so again, exceptional customer service! Bottom line, we will certainly be back (when we can find parking). It provides a more upscale experience than most of our normal breakfast spots at close to similar prices.
