Best ghost tour I've ever taken and I've taken a lot of them I try to do a spooky walking tour any time I travel, and I've probably done dozens by now. Ghost Tour of Old Town in Albuquerque absolutely blew the rest out of the water. This was hands-down the best ghost tour I've ever been on- funny, creepy, thoughtful, and full of heart. Vince and Steph were our guides and brought every story to life with such charisma that even a cat followed us through part of the night. (You know it's real when the local familiars tag along.) They were funny, kind, and knew exactly how to keep the group engaged without it ever feeling corny or over-rehearsed. And here's the part that really stayed with me: I was traveling solo and ended up lingering at the curb waiting for a very delayed Uber back to my hotel. Vince and Steph noticed, and instead of packing up and heading out, they stayed with me well past tour hours just to make sure I got off safely. That level of kindness especially late at night in a spooky area, when they'd already been working, is rare. I came for ghost stories and history, but I left feeling unexpectedly cared for. If you're on the fence about taking this tour, trust me: do it. Even the ghosts are probably regulars by now.

We rented an EMF meter and got a couple spikes during our walk. So cool!

Our family took the 8pm 105-min Old Town Ghost Walk on March 19th, and it was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, the tour was engaging, exciting, and full of fascinating history and eerie tales. The walking pace was comfortable, and the atmosphere of Old Town at night made it all the more immersive! Mary and Rod were incredible guides--so friendly, welcoming, and full of knowledge. They made the experience fun for both adults and kids, striking the perfect balance between spooky and entertaining. -- My kids haven't stopped talking about their favorite ghost stories since. If you're visiting Albuquerque (or even if you're a local), this tour is a must-do! Highly recommend!! --Thank you, Mary and Rod, for an unforgettable experience!

Took the Old Town ghost tour last night and it was amazing! Erica and Lily were our guides and I don't think that I could ask for any better! Erica was very animated and passionate about the stories and we truly enjoyed her energy. Highly recommend this tour!

We did a private walking tour on one cold afternoon and had such a wonderful time. Four of us were not from ABQ (let alone NM--we all somehow moved from CA to NM in the past few years), but a few of us found ourselves now calling ABQ home (with my visitor friend coming from the SF Bay Area), so none of us really knew much about NM or ABQ. This history walking tour in Old Town ABQ was so wonderful. It was a gentle walk of an hour (or a little over that) around old town learning all about the history of NM/ABQ. We enjoyed it so much that even after the tour my friend and I spent 2 hours after the tour walking around checking the places that were covered on the tour out. We even made a decision to come back a few days after to check out a place that was mentioned on the tour, too. Overall, it was so nice to learn more about ABQ and its history. Definitely check it out if you are in town and wanted to learn more about what makes this place a Duke City and some random (but cool) facts about NM!

We had a great ghost tour last night in Old Town ABQ. Our guide, Charlie, did a wonderful job adapting the language to accommodate our young children. Fabulous storytelling and a fun evening activity.

This ghost tour was the best I have ever been on! I highly reccommend the last tour, 10pm! I can feel the energy the most in the back areas of old town, which I have never been able to pick on in other ghost tours. Our tour guides, Emily and Andy, really know their way around those streets and are very passionate about what lies beneath the haunted streets of New Mexico! This is a must do attraction if you are in the area! Get the 10pm tour and see if you can get Emily and Andy as your tour guides! Have fun!!

We decided to check out a Ghost Tour of Albuquerque and we are so glad we did. The ticket said to be there 15 minutes before the start time. We were a little late but were lucky we weren't the only ones. Our tour guide was Charlie. He was such a good orator! He has a voice that makes you want to listen and he told the stories like he was talking to a group of friends. We walked through the streets of Old Town in the dark, with a lantern, flashlights, and a fee streetlights. We were encouraged to take photos, but it was just way more fascinating hearing the history of our town, that we didn't take many. All together, it was a great time and I look forward to taking the Toast the Ghost haunted pub crawl some time in the future!!

The Montoya's were excellent tour guides. We learned alot about ABQ, and Old Town. The tour was almost 2 hours, and well worth the price.

The Museum is well situated in Old Town and an easy bop over from the shops. In fact, if you visit on a Sunday morning, the museum is free of charge and shares a parking lot with Old Town. You can have your parking validated by the museum and spend some time at both. The permanent exhibits at the museum are expertly organized and there's almost certainly something for everyone. You could easily spend the day learning about local New Mexico artists in many different formats, or enjoy the rotating exhibits. Even if a rotating exhibit doesn't sound particularly interesting, I highly encourage you to check it out. The curator at this museum does an absolutely fantastic job of keeping things engaging. There's a particularly profound permanent piece that I highly encourage one to find, which is a video accompanied by a teeter-totter. And don't miss the sculpture garden outside! The gift shop is worth a stop, too. Many of the museum gift shops that I've stopped in over the years are filled with, well, junk--items largely irrelevant to the visit. The Albuquerque Museum, though, showcases local artisans, local food, and so much more. I almost always leave with something from their Los Poblanos case and a new coffee table book about the southwest. Can't recommend this gem enough!

Instead, we signed up for the team's Ah-Shi-Sle-Pah wilderness adventure, and our guide, Ray, did all the heavy lifting from there, including the challenging driving. Our five-hour journey was mesmerizing, start to finish, taking us to exceptional formations such as Sentinel, Howling Coyote, Giant Mushroom, and of course the ultimate -- Alien Throne. We had ample time to photograph precisely at the golden hour into blue, and Ray was informative, helpful, and friendly throughout.
