The first time I came, I walked in but was told that I needed to call after tax season for amendments because they were busy, which I totally understood. They provided me with a yellow paper with their address and number to call with an extension. I called late April using that little yellow paper and had a really hard time reaching someone to make an appointment so I tried for a couple days but my calls were not returned even when I left a voicemail. I was finally able to reach someone after 3 days. I made my appointment to amend my 2016 taxes and was told to bring in my W-2, social security card, and an ID and was given an appointment for the next week. I definitely appreciated the quick availability even though calling was a mission. I showed up to my appointment early and was asked to fill out a paper and provided my documents once completed. Katheryn was incredibly helpful and explained everything very well and walked through the process with me. I left happy and feeling accomplished. Well I got a call an hour later because my the IRS rejected my information and she asked if I had already submitted my taxes. I stated that yes I had and that I thought she knew that I had wanted an amendment cause I had stated it making my appointment. She stated that I had to tell/remind them that at the appointment so I was a little upset about that. I was going to set up an appointment so I could come back and she could speak with me about the changes but I do not have the time to come back and ended up completing the amendment myself because I was able to figure out what was wrong and what I needed to do. It gets 3 stars because it's a good option to have especially since it's free financial services, even if the experience was eh.
