I've been going to Mr. Ryan for the past 3+ years now and even though I've moved out of the area I still make sure I book all my appointments with him. If it wasn't for him, I would have had to have back surgery. But he completely made that disappear. I visited Abrahamson Chiropractic after a auto accident. I had been to two other chiropractors with minimal improvement. Dr. Ryan was very thorough and understanding as I have a bit of Chiropractic anxiety, I wish I had gone to him sooner! He explained every procedure and adjustment prior to the actual adjustment. He suggested different modalities for treatment and they were spot on, the dry needling was very beneficial as well as the gentle traction he applied for my neck. Chiropractic care is not always comfortable (I'm a bit of a baby) but his care was exactly what I needed. Don't be fooled by his incredibly happy and fun demeanor, he means business when it comes to getting his patients on the road to recovery. I highly recommend his clinic. Outstanding chiropractor! Dr. Abrahamson listened attentively to my concerns and answered any and all questions I had. His assessment was very accurate, because the treatment resulted in my feeling so much better. I went in for lower back pain, after excruciating pain which had resulted in an ER visit. Dr. Abrahamson treated my spine, hips and neck, which had all contributed to the original pain. This was all in the first 2 visits! There was no pressure or request for committing to weeks or months of chiropractic treatment either, unlike the other 2 chiropractors I had tried in the past. After recently moving from Florida to Hendersonville I had absolutely been neglecting my chiropractic care after at least monthly visits for 5 years. One hundred percent would recommend this business to absolutely anyone (in fact I already have). I've only had one visit thus far but from minute one until now (one day after my visit) it's been a wonderful experience. First I called to ask questions about whether they accepted my insurance and whether they had a doctor who could adjust me since I am 25 weeks pregnant. Rebekah answered all of my questions so kindly and patiently, sent the office paper work via email and even ran my insurance before my appointment to verify cost so I wouldn't get any surprise bills. The next day was the day of my appointment (which was much faster than I expected). Upon walking in I was greeted with a friendly faced receptionist who helped me with the check in process and took me into the exam room very quickly. Once in the room she did an amazing job of explaining to me all about doctor Ryan and his methods while also taking the time to have friendly conversation and get to know me. I watched the video about chiropractic care provided and then doctor Ryan came in. He did a great job of explaining everything and making me feel very relaxed and comfortable. He educated me on all of the options he and his practice offer and made sure to let me know we would try one per visit so we would know what worked and what didn't work. I felt extremely comfortable and informed during my entire visit. Then came the adjustment....he was very gentle and informative during the entire adjustment as well. Immediately after my adjustment I felt 100 times better and a full 24 hours later I'm feeling even better. My sciatic pain is gone, my posture is noticeably different and my lower back is much looser. I even told my husband that whatever doctor Ryan did seemed to help me not be out of breathe as much going up and down our stairs and running around outside with the kids. I know this is a lengthy review but all this to say....do not consider going to abrahamson...DO IT! You will feel 1000% times better even after just one visit. I don't usually use chiropractors, but this one is great and helpful with very important health information. I didn't feel like he was wasting my time. I like that you get your xrays by email and not a disc. Most importantly I left feeling relief from a very painful pinched nerve. He does walkins, where do they do that?
