When she needed water she said it took them 30 minutes to even bring her water! I'm sooo glad she's out of this hell hole!!! The CNAs are rude no one answers the phone and if they do answer they rush you off the phone or hang up on you! I think they only cater to the Caucasians in my opinion. I called social services left my number about my grandmother fall and no callback this place is a POS!

I was also under the impression that any facility that has rehab has to meet certain standards! I was totally wrong! It started from the beginning! I was taken by ambulance on Sunday May 10 to this facility! The first room I was placed in was a double room! The nice lady was telling her friend that she had just been diagnosed with shingles!! When I asked the nurse, they moved me to another room with another lady, with contact isolation instructions on the door! When I asked what the isolation was for, I was told they couldn't tell me because of Hippa regulations! I understood but I was only 4 days surgery post-op! The same aids taking care of her, also were taking care of me! I never saw anyone wash their hands!! I had to have help with getting up and When I would use my call button, they were not responsive! The food was terrible!! No taste, very small portions and inedible! The 2nd day I was taken for so-called rehab! I was the only person they were helping walk! Everyone else were wheelchair bound patients! The therapist rewrapped my leg with the ace bandage! Later that night I was having terrible pain! The bandage was so tight, my foot was swollen and so painful! I asked to go to ER! They finally complied and wanted to know why!!! I told them I did not trust them to take care of me!! The whole experience was the nightmare from hell! Don't be fooled!! This is not a rehab! This is a very poor nursing home!!! If you love your family member, don't allow them to go here! If I could have given them a minus 10 I would have!!!! Thankfully I went to a wonderful facility who met my needs! I am sure I would not have survived if I had stayed at Greenwood!

One star. A tour that looked nothing like the actual care…read more We chose this facility for my grandmother's stroke rehabilitation after touring five centers and narrowing to three. During the tour the place felt warm and the staff seemed attentive and kind. The reality after admission was the opposite. On arrival, no staff greeted us or told us what to do. We waited two hours before my mother finally went to the nursing station herself. When she asked the charge nurse, Kim, what paperwork we needed, Kim rolled her eyes, huffed, and explained the forms in a condescending, oversimplified way. My mother is an RN. Only after she said so did Kim's tone change--which tells you the dismissiveness was a choice. While we waited, my grandmother's roommate sat in a soiled diaper for an hour and fifteen minutes despite asking for help three times. Help only came after my mother went into the hall and asked directly. This was not a one-time lapse. On discharge day, a patient called out for help for 32 minutes with no one checking on him. The contradictions were just as troubling. During the tour we asked specifically whether we could take her out for meals and activities and were told yes. On June 5th we took her to a pool, where she only sat with her feet in the water. On June 10th my mother was called and reprimanded for it, told it suggested grandma was "healthy enough" not to be there, and informed she could no longer leave for any reason until discharge--directly contradicting what we'd been promised. Her June 9th care plan also listed her as not a fall risk, which is flatly incorrect and a serious safety error. The worst came at discharge on June 16th. We arrived at 9:36 for a 10:00 readiness time and weren't seen until 10:42. Kim said she would call in grandma's prescriptions and send home the remainder. At home we discovered one medication had been given at double the prescribed dose. A medication error, a misclassified fall risk, patients left calling for help, broken promises, and a charge nurse who was consistently condescending and intimidating. My grandmother looked frightened every time we saw her. The five-star marketing does not match the care. I would not send a loved one here.
