Pamela and Jules of Burt Grant Salon, are by far the best stylists and color experts I've ever known! They listen to your needs and actually seem to care personally about you and your hair! They both do the greatest hair coloring - they consider your skin tone, use the highest quality hair color that lasts and your hair is soft and manageable. I was a new customer. Elena did my hair and before I went in I looked boring but when I walked out I looked stunning! I got a layered haircut and dyed it all black to cover up the grays. After my hair stylist remarried and moved to another state and I was left with nobody to do my hair, I am VERY PICKY about my hair ! After a couple of disasters with prominent salons, for which I paid ALOT OF MONEY. I came to the Burt Grant Salon. They had an excellent reputation, but so did the other two salons and they were not so good. I hammered their receptionist on the phone with every question and concern I had and I know that I was not very nice. She handled my interrogation like a professional and assured me that they had a stylist for me, Sara Jurdi. Long story short i found my new stylist and my new salon. Jessie, the receptionist whom I first spoke of, and Sara, my stylist are the best. I love my hair color and the cut. People always ask me who did my hair. Thanks for making me happy. read more

Horrible customer service with zero understanding and leniency. I received a Groupon gift certificate for a 1-hr facial. I was a couple of days passed the expiration date so they honored the value of the Groupon which equates to a 30-min facial. So I scheduled the appointment but a last minute funeral came up last minute that I was informed of the night before. So due to their 24-hr cancellation policy, they will not reschedule my appointment as well as honor the Groupon value (even though I already lost the discounted value). I understand policy but there are always exceptions to ensure excellent customer service. This was my first appointment and last even though I never even went to the appointment. read more

A friend of mine referred me to Nathan Beltran and I am so glad she did! He was wonderful! He spent a ton of time with me going through the photos I brought, outlining the game plan for my hair color and highlights, and then, unlike any other stylists I have ever seen, he stayed with me the whole time chatting and hanging out (usually they leave you to set your hair and wait). He also went through pricing without having me ask upfront (which was a first for me since I usually have to ask). I even got a hand massage! He then went over my hair cut ideas. I went in not really sure what I wanted and my hair being a mess because I had waited so long trying to find someone I trusted to see. Nathan is wonderful! He is fun, friendly, outgoing, and fantastic at what he does! I love my hair (have been getting compliments too which is always nice!) and have already recommended him to several other friends. I have been going to this salon for a few years now and I honestly love it or shall I say loved it. I always make my appointments well in advance at least 6 weeks out. I have been cancelled on a few times saying my stylist wasn't going to come in on the Saturday that I booked, normally I would change my schedule around and make it work. I have had an appointment on the books sine July 2nd for August 27th, yep this Saturday- I have an event Saturday night and need to have my hair done! I got the text saying you have an appointment please respond with a c to confirm - done. A few hours later I have a message saying my hair stylist is not going to be working Saturday. I called back and was told that again- I was asked what I wanted to do, (seriously)!!! I asked what she had available for Thursday or Friday, I was told she wasn't working Friday and she could get me in Thursday at 1pm - I work full time. That's not going to work and I need a Saturday, what's the next Saturday I could get in, I was told September 17th. Are you kidding me! Another 4 weeks! When I told her that was unacceptable she said nothing! I told her thanks but I will find another salon, her response was, ok bye.. Great salon, but if you want a dependable salon , one that every time you have an appointment you're fingers are crossed that it will actually happen, look further and stay away.. read more

I hadnt gotten my haircut here in a while and was assigned a random stylist. When I asked her to frame my face I was expecting the normal tapered down hair but thats not what i got. She literally made a mini layer thats closer to bangs. I tried curling it but it looks awful. Im so disappointed and wont be going back. i bought a massage and facial from Groupon, and requested to have them both together back to back since I live over 35 minutes away. I was so excited to have a few hours of relaxation. I had scheduled an appointment following the massage and facial, so it was important to me that the appointment was started on time. I arrived to the salon over 15 minutes early in order to fill out paperwork, etc. I ended up waiting for over 30 minutes past my appointment time. I went up to the front desk quite annoyed, and asked when the appointment would start, and told the receptionist that I had another appointment following both scheduled appointments. She stated that I had not allotted enough time for both, and that I would need to reschedule. I told her that the appointment was over 30 minutes late, and that i would only be able to do one. i also informed her that i lived far away and I had scheduled them together for this reason, and this was a huge inconvenience. she kind of acted annoyed at me, and annoyed at the massage therapist. the massage therapist came and acted annoyed at the whole situation, didn't say sorry, and it was awkward the whole massage because I was NOT relaxed. the place seems really nice, but i did not have a good experience. Because of my bad experience and my busy schedule, i was unable to reschedule my facial appointment. i called asking the receptionist if there was anything that could be done, and she said no, that i would only get what i paid for the groupon. read more
