I was gifted a massage and was finally able to redeem the service. It's been far too long since I've been here. Massage Service: Pangea Swedish Massage Although Torei wasn't the masseuse I chose when the appointment was made I'm actually glad she was the person to perform the service. She was warm, welcoming, and prior to starting the massage she told me to let her know if I needed her to adjust the pressure at any time. Oh, my goodness. Torei's hands were magical. She spent extra time on my trouble area, as requested, and my overall experience with her was great. I wanted more time, but only booked for 50 minutes. I left Daired's relaxed and felt like I was walking on a cloud. Torei gets 5-stars Next time I'll be sure to choose Torei for my massage service. My only critique is for the front desk. Upon arriving, I indicated I was there for an appointment and provided the name of the person I booked with. The front desk person didn't mention that my masseuse would be different. Once I provided the name of the person my appointment was with (based on my confirmation email) that was an opportunity to provide another layer of customer service from the front desk and mention the appointment showed with someone else, since Daired's made the change to the appointment. In general, it's not good practice to rely only on technology to make a customer aware of changes to their appointment that Daired's made. read more

I have been a member here for a little while and should have joined years ago. I come here for all things spa related and beyond and it's always such a treat. The last few months I have been going to Coco for my pedicures and what a joy she is! Very easy to talk to and such a kind soul. She has done my pedicure quite a few times and each time she executes with precision and I'm left with the most beautifully painted toenails and supple skin. I scheduled a 50 minute River rock massage for 9 AM. They instructed me to arrive 15 minutes before, to which I actually arrived 20 minutes prior. After being directed to the changing room, I was seated in another area to wait for my massage therapist. By the time she came and got me, it was 5 minutes after my scheduled time. After arrival into the room, she seated me on the table and washed my feet in what I assume was supposed to be a foot massage, but it was really just putting my feet in water and drying them off. Then she stepped out for me to remove my robe and get under the sheet on the table. When I took my watch off before getting on the table, it was 9:12. When she came back in, she proceeded to keep my full body covered with the sheet and placed a warm towel on my back over the sheet. She then proceeded to line 3 rocks on my back and wrap them with the warm towel while she began on my legs and feet. On every area, she made one pass with the rocks before discarding for hands. And it really just felt as if she was rubbing the rocks on my body rather than massaging. The entire time, I felt as if she was rushing through each section of my body, spending no more than a minute or two. Going back and forth to the counter to get new oils or switch rocks probably totally 1/2 the actual time of the massage. At the end of the massage, she spent probably 3-4 minutes washing her arms and hands before telling me that was it and she was going to step out for me to get my robe back on. I laid there for a minute being super disappointed and feeling like it couldn't have been 50 minutes. After I got up and put my robe on, I grabbed by watch and it was 9:52. I think I would be very safe to say my total massage might have been 35 minutes. The problem areas that I was asked about received no attention, nor did any area really. For $115, I really expect hands on me for 50 minutes. If that means no foot washing "massage," then I don't want it. Every massage I've ever had has been a stone massage and this was the worst experience at one of the priciest places. read more

Nice little cafe with plenty of options and wonderful people working to serve you fresh food with a smile . There wasn't much of a wait ! My first visit to Daireds was a nostalgic step forward. I remembered the salon being where a friend of mine from my high school days in the late '80s used to go to get his hair cut, so when my youngest wanted highlights, it was the first name that came to mind. Before booking anything for her, I decided to try it myself--and I'm so glad I did. I scheduled an appointment with Kisa, who had an opening two days before a job interview for which I was preparing. I was nervous, not only about the interview, but also about having my hair done at a salon since I normally do my own hair. My hair normally lightens and brasses to orange whenever I dye my own hair, no matter what color or what brand of dye I use, so I wanted a professional to cover my grays. I kept asking about potential extra charges (thanks to years of caution from movies and TV!), but Kisa was incredibly sweet and patient. She explained everything clearly, made sure I felt comfortable, and added a combination of highlights and lowlights that covered up my grad school grays. This transformation boosted my self esteem and helped me walk into that interview feeling much more confident. Daireds impressed me with their professionalism and welcoming atmosphere. Kisa, in particular, made a strong first impression--so much so that I booked her for one of my twins' highlights. We'll all definitely be returning in the future and booking with Kisa. read more

We almost always use it to book a monthly massage with Elena, who is wonderful. She is thoughtful and professional, with such a sweet personality, and most importantly, she gives an incredible massage!! I absolutely love DAIREDS. It feels like a real family atmosphere. I was there today and when you look around the round each stylist is having a true conversation with their client. Daired himself makes a welcomed appearance also, just to check in on how things are going. It's a pretty amazing place. I know it's hard to trust new people with your hair, but I don't think you'll be disappointed with the services or commitment they provide. I had an amazing day today with my daughter at this location. This was my 1st time ever to have a Spa Day. We were greeted by Lorin, she was so helpful, patient and kind. She checked on us throughout the visit. Above and Beyond service!! Jesse had magic hands when it comes to getting all of the stress knots out of my back, shoulders, neck and even hips. The hot rock massage was amazing. He definitely helped my target areas. Bobbie did my pedi and mani. She was respectful, caring, listened attentively, and put my needs first. She took her time to show me what they had for inventory; although they were very low or non existent in Jane Iredale lip gloss, lip sticks and lip pencils. My first Spa appointment in my life was the worst experience ever! I had a gf come in from VA and made us appt in-person one week before hand for full body massage and facials. An almost $400 appt booked for noon, that required a credit card on file for cancellation fees. We scheduled our whole morning around this. We showed up about 25mins early, got waters then taken back to get into our robes and wait in this waiting area outside the staff office. Waited about 10mins when they came and got my friend taken back. I waited about another 10mins when the front desk came and told me that the person scheduled to take care of me had an emergency on her way in and that I could not be seen that day. I asked for any other services since my friend was already taken back. They had nothing available til 4pm that day. They gave me a glass of wine and sat me in another waiting room. I cried the entire time. I moved myself to the changing room so I could calm down. I didn't see my friend until she was entirely done. She found out between her massage and facial. She was told that the person I was scheduled with DOES NOT work on Sundays. I really wished that had not told her bc she felt guilty and could not enjoy the facial. I was told a manager would be contacting me the following day to apologize. It has been a month now and I have yet to receive an email or call letting me know how they could have an employee on the schedule for an ENTIRE week without realizing that person doesn't work on Sundays! And why make up a lie about an emergency. Stressful and most unprofessional experience I have seen to date. read more

I used to see Pam, but she had to leave because of a very big and and exciting life change, so when she left she recommended Victoria to me. OH MY GOODNESS! She was amazing! I will be booking with her every time now! My hair looks amazing (we did an all-over color and her in-depth knowledge of color and color theory really helped and made me feel that I was in good hands, and we also did bangs which I've never done before!). My hair feels so... me! She walked me through every step and made sure I knew what she was doing on my head, and was so kind and fun to interact with. Highly highly recommend! Very disappointing experience. :( I have extreme shoulder pain and a LOT of knots in my upper back. I scheduled a deep tissue massage online, and in the notes told about my shoulder pain. Then when I arrived, I again filled out a piece of paper and wrote about my shoulder pain, and then again when the masseuse introduced himself he asked me about any focus points and I told him my shoulders. The massage was 50 minutes and maybe 5 of it was spent on my shoulders. On top of that, hardly any pressure was used despite me paying extra for deep tissue. There were times where this man would stop and just have his hands placed on pressure points (I think?) but would apply no pressure at all. I felt zero relief after this massage, and don't understand asking about pain and focus areas when those areas aren't even touched. Immediately after this I walked into another massage place, paid half of the price, and got an amazing deep tissue massage. I truly wasted ~$140 and will not be coming back. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the ambience is nice, and the staff was overall friendly. But I do NOT recommend the spa if you're having any serious pain, maybe just for a relaxing experience. read more

Botox experience: I've had Botox twice at Daired's. First time was amazing, the product and the results were amazing. Went for a second time and the Botox actually stopped working about 3 weeks later and the results were minimal. I was flabbergasted but still thought it was "me". Went to another spa later, got Botox again with the same great results than my first time at Daired's. Conclusion: I'm convinced I was injected diluted product at Daired's during my second visit, and that second visit actually cost more than the first time because she injected more units. I just had a terrible experience at this location. My friend scheduled two facials for she and I three weeks ago. We were so excited but when we got there, our appointments had been canceled for no apparent reason. We spoke to the manager, Natalie, and she could not figure out why they canceled our appointments either, nor did she seem very concerned about ruining our birthday plans. They told us that they cancel appointments all the time if they do not have a card on file. We had a card on file and ours was canceled anyway. She offered no compensation or explanation. I went to go get a Balayage and it was completely botched. They ended up giving me for highlights all the way up to the scalp. The manager so that she could fix it so I went back in the following Saturday and was disappointed in her "fix".. single mom 200 out of money when I hardly ever get to splurge on myself. Went into work the next day and my staff told me that my hair looked way better before and that it was so yellow it looked awful. Extremely embarrassing if you ask me! I loved the atmosphere and I was praying that I would find my go to place.. especially for that kind of money but regardless of the atmosphere and the amazing decor.. the hairstylist was absolutely awful and the fix the floor manager did was just as awful. Now I'm out 200 and waiting 4-6 weeks to go somewhere else to actually get it to a blonde that is ONE tone blond to give my hair a rest.. My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary here. We got the couples package, but modified it because my husband doesn't get manicures. They worked with us and modified and took off pricing for things we needed to work around. The food was good, healthy, but good. (Can't expect a cheeseburger from a spa) the wine was even BETTER, but they also have cocktails. The massage was great, but they wash your feet before and that was weird. I was like "I'm not Jesus, you don't need to wash my feet." Pedicures were great and the facial hurt, but that's because I never get facials and have super sensitive and acne prone skin. (Like a beautiful teenager.) All in all, worth the money, they also sell clothes which I REALLLLY wanted to buy this super cute shirt, but my husband said no. read more

Massage was OK, but the guy (Jesse) cheated me out of 10 minutes. When you're being paid by the minute, every second counts. He started at 1:10 and stopped at 1:50. When I brought it to his attention, he said, "Oh, I'm sorry about that". Unfortunately, I'm sorry means nothing when you've been paid to do a job for 50 minutes. That's called stealing. The manager discounted the massage, which was fine. I appreciated it. Food was pretty good. I only went because my coworker gave me a gift card. Won't be going back. Feeling pretty duped by this place, I received a gift certificate for Christmas From my son for a facial and a pedi which were both adequate but not $100 for a facial adequate or $60 for a pedi... the low blow was when I agreed to a green tea scrub on the facial which was another $75 !!! let me say this again SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS would it have been to much to mention to me the extra cost ? what one time application would cost that much ??? almost as much as the whole facial, which is over priced to begin with. I mentioned this to the cashier when I payed and she couldn't have cared less, the haha sorry is bad business in my opinion and I don't plan on returning unless I'm refunded for the green tea treatment. read more

If I could do no stars I would. I went for a base color and some highlights, blow dry. I explained my hair processes very fast. I was put through the color very fast and then I waited 2 hours while several people were very slowly taken care of. After over 2 hours of waiting for blow dry, I complained and was told the computer scheduled everything and it did not matter what I wanted or that I knew how my hair reacted. My hair was still wet after spendimg over 3 1/2 bours when the manager, Tracy came and told me they knew my hair and I did not have to come back. Worst treatment ever received in a salon. They don't care Anna thinks she knows my hair even after I was explicit in explaining. After more than 20 years as a customer, I will never return. read more

First Yelp event of 2015, and it was wonderful! We had a wonderful time at Daireds! WE had massages from Destiny, and will be back for more! She alone is worth making the trip for! Easily one of the top 5 masseuses in DFW. Her Deep Tissue is a special treat. We also enjoyed the deli complete with a charcuterie and edemame with hummus. The tour of this building was incredible. It's absolutely huge! Spa services were designed for men and women. Massages, reflexology, facials, medical treatments such as Botox, and detoxification and purification services are all available. Let me preface this positive review with this: I went in for teeth whitening, and was not impressed at all. It is definitely not effective and more money than going to the dentist for the good stuff-it cost $200! Now, the reason for the 5-star positive review..... While I will never refer anyone to be subject to their inadequate teeth whitening procedure, I will be back for the service and ambiance! When you walk in, you are in a gift shop area and greeted by the many register employees who are eager to check you in. I never saw anyone waiting beyond their appointment time-they shuffle people in and out of the first waiting area like little ants! Once it is your turn, a spa rep will come out to escort you to a tranquil waiting area beyond beautiful glass doors. This "secret" area looks like a big maze of doors and hallways leading to massage rooms, etc. I was very early, so a sweet employee offered me a drink while I waited. I observed MANY clients walking in and out in robes and such-smiling and pleased with whatever service they received. I even witnessed a group have food delivered on a server tray by a waiter within the spa-I was pretty impressed by that. It would be nice to have a spa day and not have to starve while there. All in all, I am excited to try some of their other services! I love any place with top-notch customer service and this place delivers! read more
