Fair prices, great installations, and continuing Customer Service add up to an excellent VALUE, and a great place to shop. We also need to replace an aging one-piece sheet vinyl floor in a large Mud Room/ Utility Room/ Laundry area. The vinyl has served us well, but in a wet, high-wear area, it's taken a beating. With the proliferation of NEW types of flooring, sheet vinyl is no longer a desired material. My issue with the new trend of LVP "Luxury Vinyl Plank" floors is they are neither a "LUXURY" looking product, and bear no resemblance to either the hardwood, or tile they ATTEMPT to replicate. The 3-4 different plank patterns, repeated on a large floor SCREAM Cheap Fake Wood, especially the un-natural dark grays with black "painted" knots! Walking among the endless rows of fake, cheap, imitation wood flooring at the home centers has me wondering why anyone thinks these are attractive floors? The sea of bad, repeating fake "Knots" installed in a multitude of homes on TV Remodeling shows has me scratching my head. These homeowners would laugh in your face at the suggestion of a good-looing high quality vinyl floor, yet the "Picture" of wood on vinyl running throughout an entire home is a TREND. We were pretty-well set on using Ceramic Tile in this area, for its good looks, and durability. While looking at carpet samples at Bee Jay, a display board in the hardwoods section caught my eye. It was a beautiful herringbone pattern, in white Oak. On a closer look, it appeared NOT to be wood, but the despised LVP plank. As an avowed cheap-looking LVP hater, I was stunned. I could NOT get over how great this looked. I signed out the board and brought it home. It looked even better on my floor than in the store. When my Wife returned home, I asked her to have a look in the Utility Room. She saw the sample, and asked WHY I was thinking of using HARDWOOD in that wet area? I stated it was actually the hated LVP!! It was the FIRST LVP that did NOT look like a .99 Cents a foot discount-aisle compromise. SOLD! Installing this plank eliminated ripping up our old Congloeum, and the need to perform a thousand-dollar floor prep for Ceramic Tile. No grout joints, and an extremely tight-fitting board edge detail, that provides a waterproof, high wear surface, right over the existing floor. The Installers were prompt to arrive, and super friendly. Unlike most Contractors, they were in no rush to "Get it done FAST" and get on to the next job. They answered all of our questions and stated that our install would be the same as they would install in their OWN home. They did a STELLAR job. There is not a more labor-intensive, need to focus, stay aware install, than a herringbone pattern. Unlike plank flooring, every edge piece needs to be cut and fitted precisely, and they did a flawless installation. Mike & his Son are THE BEST!! Thank You!!!

We just had our entire second floor carpet installed and it looks phenomenal!…read more A&E Flooring was recommended by a friend and we couldn't be happier with the overall experience! Pricing was very reasonable. Scheduling was easy - Adam came out to do our measurements on a Saturday which helped accommodate my work schedule. I had given him a general idea over the phone of what I was looking for and he brought many samples for me to choose from. He offered recommendations based on durable and ease to clean along with maintenance and warranty information (having a Golden Retriever and wanting light colored carpet, I wanted to make sure we were covered and the carpet cleaned up well!) We ultimately decided to go with the higher priced per square foot carpet which was still less then the other estimate we received from another company! The carpet installers were friendly, professional, did a perfect job - I honestly am not even sure they stopped for a break! They removed our old carpet, moved our larger pieces of furniture and cleanup everything before they left. Would recommend A&E to anyone I know who is looking for flooring. We are looking forward to working with them on our first floor wood installation as our next project!
