We called Mike to see what he could for us, since at the time of purchase, when we asked about a warranty, he said they always take care of their customers. Well, not this time. He said it was wicking that he believed we had caused, as if we were lying to him. In the end, he made absolutely no offers for a resolution, including a replacement rug at a discount. .

Good points: The showroom staff was helpful and polite. The showroom is open on select evenings and Saturdays which was convenient. There were multiple hardwood flooring brands available on display making it easier to find the perfect color and style for my project. Scheduling a quote for the project was easy. A person visited my home within a week of me asking for the quote. The quote was available in a reasonable amount of time after the house was measured. The price quoted to me was comparable to other flooring companies I had researched. Financing was available through Wells Fargo bank. The process to get the financing was simple and only required me to fill out a short form. Bergey did the rest of the paperwork for the loan and then ordered the flooring once the money had been approved by the bank. The installers were knowledgeable, efficient, and respectful of my property and belongings. They were respectful of my neighbors waiting until 8am to begin their work which limited the amount of disturbance to others. Not so good points: Although the entire process was seamless, I felt like I did not always know what was happening at any given time. It would have been nice to have a bit more communication between Bergey and myself. At times, I needed to chase for information. In my opinion, I should not have to chase for information. Looking online, I decided to take her to Lomax Carpet and Tile Mart. Neither one of us had been there before, but so glad I chose this place. So sorry I didn't get the young man's name, but he was so patient with my cousin that I had to compliment him on it. He showed her a lot of options to choose from. What I really liked is that they can custom cut the rugs to any size you want. They told us they would be ready for pickup by the weekend. They called that same evening (Thursday) and said they were ready and could pick them up at any time. I picked them up the next day and laid them down on her floors for her. She loves them and they were cut to the correct size for all her rooms. I did look around a little for myself and saw a beautiful area rug that I would love to get.
