I called Anytime and they were able to get me scheduled the next day. My appointment was later in the day and life happens. The appointment before me was taking longer and they called to let me know and reschedule me. My life is flexible, so I took the first appointment for that Friday. That morning, I got a courtesy call letting me know that they were on the way and that Jacob would be my tech. When he arrived, he introduced himself and shook my hand (that is something you don't see everyday). We went into the garage, he saw how old my opener was (20 years) and explained my options. He went into great detail on the differences between the different openers. I asked a few questions and he answered in layman's terms that someone like me could comprehend. I made my choice and he said it would take about an hour to install. I'm one of those peps, I looked at my watch. When he was finished, it was an hour, almost to the minute. He cleaned up after himself and you couldn't even tell that work had been done in my garage. I love my new LiftMaster garage door opener. It is quiet and runs smoothly, like a soft close drawer. Contacted Precision Garage to have repairs made to my garage door. Booked the appointment online…read moreat around 1pm. Was pleasantly surprised that they would be able to respond between 2 - 4 pm that day. Glen and Nate arrived a little after 2pm. they assessed the situation and provided me with 3 bids for various work on the door. After approving a bid, they proceeded to go right to work. They were very professional. I pointed out a broken piece on the door which they repaired with a bracket that will never fail. They replaced that piece, the long rod (that had bowed), and the springs. They also pointed out a section of overhead shelving that the door slightly rubbed on. I was standing in my laundry room and heard a huge crash and did not know where it came from. Came to find out - when I couldn't park in the garage and started messing around trying to get it to open. A sticker on the door gave me the name and phone number of the original installer back in 2011 - Renner Garage Door. I called - after hours - and they took my information. Spoke with Veronica first thing this morning...she put me on a brief hold and came back on the line to say her repairman, John, would work me into his schedule and be out some time in the afternoon. I live in the city of STL - where car thefts and break-ins occur regularly for cars parked on the street - so I really appreciated the prompt response time. John arrived earlier than expected. He walked in, looked at it and immediately knew my spring was broken. He had it working within 20 minutes of arrival, and as he worked he answered my myriad of questions along the way. Last night, when I was going through the paperwork left attached to the garage door when it was installed - I discovered that part of the maintenance of owning a garage door is to oil the metal parts - periodically. John said annually is good. I had never known this - and I share it now, for other homeowners who may not be aware. My door is working better than it has in my recent experience. Much quieter and smoother opening and closing. So happy - and the price I paid was fair considering the speed of response and the improvement in the functioning of the door.
