I understand it's my fault my car got repoed. I went and paid the reinstatement with the lein company. But these people dont want to let you have your car back until they feel like it. Call make a appt. Then wait 4 days. And they aren't even in the BBB. piss poor business! Lein holder released my car but oh make a appt we want to be nosey and go through your car first. I will be there Monday for my car and then I will find out the damage done to my car.and it was a four wheel drive expedition and they did not flat bed it they used a regular yow truck!! Crooked, Unethical, and Exploitative - Stay Away from ABS Towing Over a year ago, a friend came to visit me at my apartment complex and parked in a rental vehicle. Within a few hours--during a brief 3-hour visit--his car was towed without warning or notice. When we called ABS Towing, they told us it would cost $300 in cash to retrieve the vehicle that night and warned the price would double if we waited until the next day. When I informed the tow truck driver that I would be involving my apartment's management, the police, and ABS's own management team, the story suddenly changed. They told us we could pick up the vehicle for free--no charge at all. That is textbook predatory behavior and a blatant example of fraudulent and unethical business practices. There was no legitimate reason for the tow, and their willingness to waive a supposed $300 fee the moment they were challenged speaks volumes. ABS Towing operates in an exploitative, manipulative, and dishonest manner. I regret not reporting this sooner, and I'm sharing now so others can be warned. After my vehicle was towed, I followed up with the City of Fort Myers Code Enforcement Division. They confirmed that the signage is, in fact, unclear and poorly placed, but also stated they cannot intervene due to the lot being privately owned. This leaves residents and visitors at the mercy of inconsistent enforcement and questionable practices. I requested documentation from ABS Towing to validate the tow, and they refused to provide it. This complete lack of transparency and unwillingness to be held accountable only reinforces the sense that they are exploiting unclear rules for profit. To hold them accountable, I have filed a formal complaint with the Attorney General's Office and submitted a review to the Better Business Bureau (BBB). Towing should be enforced fairly, lawfully, and with proper notice--not under ambiguous conditions that leave vehicle owners blindsided. my car was repossessed, and I paid all my fees. I spoke to a guy yesterday, and he told me to just call this morning to schedule an appointment to pick up my vehicle. Then when I call today a rude lady told me that I had to make an appointment and it can't be same-day appointments after I paid all my fees. I'm so angry and upset. I have work and I have to call off because they won't give me my vehicle. These people can just hold my car hostage, AFTER PAYING ALL MY FEES, worse company in America. Company showed up today to recover property which is fine and saved me time coordinating with the finance company. The problem however is the agent not only dropped the motorcycle resulting in damage to the unit he also unloaded it after loading it once and proceeded to ride it up and down the street before reloading it and finally leaving. This was immediately reported to the finance company with the pictures and video and made clear that I am not going to be responsible for the damages to the vehicle. Especially after the bike has been witnessed and recorded being ridden around their impound lot. read more

This company is by far the worst ever lady on the phone is rude nasty busses people out and then hangs up. long story short a truck was repossessed on sunday night they refused to release the vehicle for 24 hrs after the financial institution was taken care of. got the truck back and low and behold $30 was missing from the glove box and a pair of Ray ban prescription sunglasses are missing. so be cautious to let this company do any type of service for your vehicle things will grow legs and walk away. read more

This is hands down the most unprofessional, rude experience I've ever had with a place of business. I am not upset that my car was towed, as it was towed for a legitimate reason. My complaint is the way I was treated over the phone by the owner. I spoke to either Rhonda or Amanda McNutt. I was expecting a professional respectful conversation & got the complete opposite. She was aggressive from the get-go for no reason. When I volunteered that my son had parked in a handicapped spot, she said "Oh, so you raised ignorance". When I mentioned their bad ratings on BBB she said she "didn't give a shit" if I reported them. After reading the specific complaints about this business, I realized that her actions are nothing personal about me or the other complainants...it is about what is going on inside of her. I can't imagine what she must have gone through to make her such a mean and aggressive person. I hope she uses the money she received from me to get some help.
