Such an amazing show! We loved it! Funny, and the acrobats are just phenomenal. Best show in Vegas!!!!

This was my first legit show in Vegas. I had always wanted to go to a show and I am so glad this was my first one. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by a bunch of friendly faces and had this girl I think her name was Clarissa came up to us and get drinks for us. She was so amazing. My wife loved her. We had one of drinks with absinthe in it. It was pretty good. I've had absent before. It's not for everyone. The drinks weren't cheap, but it was worth the experience. In the garden, there were several things to do some stuff to eat and I think there was a speakeasy, but we got there a little late so as soon as we got our drinks, we were able to head right in to the tent. Once we got in we they have a popcorn maker right up front. That was kind of cool to have some popcorn and watch the show. Seating is pretty interesting like a bunch of high top bar chairs. It's very cozy. I literally had the worst seat in the house and I still had a great view and had a great time it was well worth it. We sat in the very back and I think it was good for viewing the show. Maybe somewhere in the middle rows would optimal. The people at the very front you'd be looking up the whole time but also your fair game to get made fun of get water splashed on you so if you're up for that then go ahead. This show had everything it was so amazing and the host and his copart were probably my favorite part of the show. Their raunchy humor and banter was great. All the acts were unbelievable. The people were very acrobatic and just did unbelievable things I could see why this is the best show in Vegas. Book your tickets early they go fast. We lollygagged and ended up getting like the last couple seats for the early show. The late shows book up quicker. read more

This show was so entertaining. I could not stop laughing. They play with the audience a bit, it's hilarious.

Didn't really know what to expect but I was so very pleasantly surprised. I haven't laughed as hard in many years. The tent setting was wonderful. The staff were all friendly. The show was just superb. Each and every performance was just fabulous. I especially loved the male host, he was so funny. The 90 minutes went so fast. I wish it was longer. I'm a local so I will definitely be bringing friends to see Absinthe in the future. It's well worth it! read more

I'll do my best to share this review with care and respect. The Absinthe show left me with very mixed feelings. First, what I absolutely loved: the extraordinary talent of the circus artists and athletes. Their artistry, skill, and stage presence were outstanding. Every act was captivating and beautifully executed. World-class talent. However, the experience was overshadowed by the MC, particularly the male MC and his interactions with the female co-host. The humor relied heavily on sexist and cheap, vulgar jokes that felt deeply uncomfortable, outdated, and out of place. The dynamic between them, where she was portrayed as a pitiful female character, was especially unpleasant-disgusting- to watch. From my perspective, the hosts' act needs to evolve to match the artistic excellence of the performers. If the MC humor and hosting were elevated to the same level of quality as the circus acts, Absinthe could be a truly great experience. read more

What a terrific time! We've walked past the Absinthe tent in front of Caesars Palace so many times, and this trip figured, "let's go!". We loved the show. If you are prepared for a raft profanity and over-the-top raunchiness, join the fun. The host and his assistant were relentlessly hilarious, and the acts were amazingly acrobatic and, at times, dangerous -- or at least looked that way to us. Before the show, we had dinner in the Green Fairy's Garden, enjoying burgers and tots, along with bar drinks and were pleased with the quality and the price. The cooling system in the garden really helped with the August heat. So, its one day after our turn at the show, and we are still talking and laughing about all that it was. There aren't enough stars in the universe for this rating! We had the most amazing experience during our time at The Green Fairy Garden and the Absinthe show. Never mind that Absinthe is probably the greatest show we've ever seen, but add to that the amazing staff that we had the pleasure of speaking to. David, Joe the Bartender, and Sande!! Also, we feel horrible for not remembering his name, but the gentlemen at the No Pants Restaurant was incredibly kind and good to us! You are some of the most amazing human beings we've ever experienced in a Service setting. All we kept thinking is, there really are still some great people in the world, in Vegas no less! I can't imagine how easy it is to allow tourists to become just another number given the sheer volume of people that are in and out, but each of you made us feel so appreciated and seen! I went to the show last year while in Las Vegas with customers and it was great. Very entertaining.

This is a fun and raunchy show that is not for the whole family. It's good for a date night or out with close friends. I think it is a bit expensive for the less than 90 min show. Some of the acts are amazing, and others are downright hysterical (the act with silks was the best). The announcer and his sidekick do great crowd work - they are fantastic. Some of the acts are leftovers from the Opium show (that closed). Overall good experience. read more

We have seen this show three times in the past 6 years. This last time, in February it was much shorter and the ticket prices have increased by about 30%. They seem to add different entertainers, here and there. It is a fun time with "adult humor" Don't go with someone unless you know them well, pretty raunchy material. I would not recommend taking any kids under 16. read more

What an experience! If you are in the mood for an eclectic, raunchy, kooky, wild & weird show, you've reached the correct place. The staff from beginning to end were so cool and nice, a perfect tonal set for the ambience of the evening. Our show had some empty spaces, so we got to move up to the second row! So incredible to see it up close, but it doesn't seem like there would be a bad seat in the house. Everyone in the show is SO talented-- I experienced a whole range of emotions from amazement, to shock, to tears of laughter, and...pretty sure I fell in love several times throughout the evening. Definitely not for anyone uncomfortable with crude or dirty humor or audience interaction--nothing is off limits! We went in expecting a fun, edgy show, but Absolute took things way too far into obscene territory. The Gazillionaire and his sidekick Wanda try to be funny but sadly their entire act is F-bombs and sex references. All the performers' actual talent got buried under cheap sexual jokes that completely overshadowed their skills. We should've left after the Gazillionaire's opening bit, and definitely when Wanda started her act - she was the worst part, going on and on about having orgasms on stage and doing inappropriate things with the mic and mic stand.It was absolutely disgusting. Although the tent and decor is very cool, skip this show and save your cash. Vegas has tons of shows that are plenty risqué and entertaining without making you feel like you need to shower a show's filth off afterwards. read more

As others have mentioned, if you get easily trigged by swear words, raunchy material, dirty jokes, insensitive remarks, etc. I would not recommend this show to you. If you don't want to be called out by the entertainers, I would recommend not buying the seats up close to the stage! The ones that sat up front were ROASTED by the MC. LOL. TBH- I don't know if I have thick enough skin for that haha. If you want a place to set your drinks down, or you want a tad bit more room so that you are not shoulder to shoulder next to the person beside you, I'd recommend one of those VIP seats with a table. Overall, I felt like the performers were very talented and great entertainers. I don't think I would pay more than $70 for the performance. I felt like the ticket prices were overpriced for the entertainment and the venue (cheap folded chairs/banquet seats, and tightly crammed together inside a tent). Cons: 1) you are crammed in a tent sitting on tiny uncomfortable chairs (yes- even those VIP seats don't look any better) 2) the tickets are expensive 3) their humor may not be for everyone! Absinthe is a great show. It is located in a tent outside of Caesar's (and not far from Hell's Kitchen). The ticket office is right near the main entrance. It can pay to get there early and hang around outside the tent--there are some nice food and drink choices (where you can either bring cocktails in with you or drink them in side). They also do have service at your seat, but the servers seem busy. The seats are odd, they are all different sizes and shapes. I hate to say too much about the show, other that to echo what others have said that the language gets raunchy, but is very funny. The acts are the typical sort of carnival acts, but very well done. They go pretty quickly. Some are amazing, then there are some that have excellent audience participation. It is definitely worth seeing. read more

I got decent middle ish seats for 2 for a grand total of ~$418 (after ticketmaster fees and such). Honestly, I think it's overpriced... even for Vegas. When my bf and I went in December, it was not a full house by any means. Since it's located in essentially a circus tent, the seats are in a circle around the main stage. I read some reviews and I expected it beforehand, but wow the seats were even smaller than I had anticipated. WAY too small. Unless you bought the more premium seats in the center with a table, the general seating is outrageously tiny. Even then, the VIP high top chairs looked uncomfortable as well... The chairs are all linked together so there is no wiggle room at all. I would say it's 2/3rds of a Southwest seat, and you know those don't have much space... As such, there is no space for drinks/food. People were bringing in their drinks and snacks and unless you bought a VIP table, there is just no place to put it at all. I wouldn't advise bringing drinks in unless you don't mind holding it the whole time in a very cramped setting. Since the circus tent isn't that large, I don't think there is a huge difference between the back seats and the middle towards front seats we bought, but there is a decent price difference. Besides from that, I thought it was quite entertaining. The content includes a lot of audience interaction, so I would come in with an open mind. It's definitely really raunchy so keep that in mind. If you enjoy interacting/going on stage, sit in the front rows. You *WILL* get roasted, so only sit there if you would be okay with that. (Be mindful of raunchy humor, potentially insensitive remarks, polarizing politics, tons of swearing, etc.) Some people seemed really offended so your mileage may vary. Personally, I thought it was hilarious, for the most part. You also might get picked to go on stage, especially if you're sat in the front. Acrobatic parts were really impressive. The knife eating segment was really cool to see live honestly. The performers in general were all really talented and worth watching. I saw this show over 10 years ago in 2012 and then again last night. For some reason, I enjoyed it more the 2nd time around. It's definitely the only decent Spiegelworld show in town! According to their own markerting, Absinthe is a riotous cocktail of circus, burlesque, and vaudeville, remixed and reimagined to delight cynical, seen-it-all audiences. Do not attend if you're easily offended by swearing, sex jokes/innuendos, or being picked on to participate or comment on something. This is really an anything goes sort of show! The best part of the show is obviously all the circus-style acts. Some are new, but most are the same acts that still remain after all these years. My favorite act was the "hot chicks on sticks," where 4 girls climbed onto wobbly poles to swing around the inside of the tent to the song Chandelier by Sia. This was something that I had never seen in any other show, and I've seen a lot of Cirque and variety shows! Overall, the show is good; however, at their current price point that starts at $169+, I'm not quite sure it's worth it, especially since most tickets would likely be well over $200!! Their drinks are expensive too, with a small bottle of Aquafina costing $9! At least give me Fiji or something for that price! read more

We really enjoyed this show (besides the seating being uncomfortable metal chairs in various heights for an hour and a half). The acts were pretty intense so plan to have a high heart rate the entire time!!! Throughly impressed with the lineup though! The MC's are funny and very entertaining but him and "Wanda" are RAUNCHY. This show has nudity and adult language/sexual language. It is Vegas through and through so please, DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS!!! A lot of laughs were had at this show. We were lucky enough to get tickets to go to the 10pm show on a Tuesday night at 10pm last minute. Going in, I had no idea what the show was about. I figured it had to be good if they had two shows that everyday right? Well, it definitely wasn't what I expected. Yes, it's for adults for a reason and if you sit up front expect to maybe get picked on and have a good attitude about it. But I would say what made the show were the performances! The small venue has raised seating but when you have a former basketball player in front of you, you cannot see. It took me being an acrobat and contortionist to watch the acts. I've seen Absinthe about a zillion times while I was in university but yesterday was my first time to see the show as a guest in more than a decade. Not sure if tickets have gotten more expensive but they started at $169 + taxes and fees for the 10 PM Sunday show. Nice to see that they changed the tent so there are no more seats with a straight up pole blocking certain seats' view. The show is nearly identical, script-wise except for the audience participation, which is different every show of course. The acrobatics are the best in Vegas, especially as everyone is very up close and personal to the show. Many of the acts are the same as they used to be with a few new ones added in. When I went yesterday, 12/18/2022, there was a female acrobatic number where they were on flexible poles flying above the crowd which was really cool. As far as the humor, I've never been a fan of the over-the-top sexual BJ & anal jokes in the show. It's the exact same script as a decade ago and it's still just meh to me. It really detracts from the acrobatics, which is the real reason to go to this show. They even did the old gag where the co-host catches her foot on the Speedo of the Gazillionaire and he ends up showing his thing to everyone on stage. Maybe use that time to get a drink if you're just not into that sort of stuff. The audience participation was great this time as both couples on stage were good sports. Two husbands had to give their wives a "lap dance" on stage. One couple was Indian and the husband did a Bollywood type dance (fully clothed) and it was hilarious. Of course audience participation will be different every show. Drinks are pretty expensive. It cost $9 for a small bottle of water - which my husband paid - because I fainted during the show after drinking some hot chocolate that had wheat in it (I didn't know) while having Celiac disease. That was pretty embarrassing, but someone in the row in front of us gave me his partial water bottle so I could at least sit up. It didn't disrupt the show but I straight up fainted across the whole row of seats when I got up because I felt hot and woozy during the show. Overall, the acrobatics are fantastic and while I'm not a fan of the humor, this is still the best show in Vegas. read more

It was like they just went to a bunch of thrift stores and bought the cheapest random chairs they could find. Wow.... completely amazed here - not by the show itself, but rather HOW DISAPPOINTED we were that we actually paid GOOD MONEY (300+) for this completely stupid show after reading all of the glowing reviews. Most annoying was the sitting through the completely stupid frat boy humor by the two MCs (esp the Wanda character- ugh) I am not offended by "raunchy" humor or nudity at all, but this was definitely not risqué, creative or clever in any sense of the word - I thought it would have some sort of a creative storyline or script stringing the circus acts together, but none - just filled with unfunny, stupid and extremely sophomoric humor (as another reviewer pointed out) There were a couple decent acrobatic acts (the excellent spinning-rope girl and the funny guy with hula hoops) but for the most part, the acts could be seen in any circus type show. I would not consider any of them "sexy", just athletic. There is one burlesque performer who was pretty good (but no big deal- you can see that anywhere in Las Vegas for MUCH less $$) ALL of the other shows we watched in Vegas were SO much better and so much cheaper. read more

It's more interactive with the audience, its a much smaller crowd because it's in a tent, so you're more up close to all the action. The talent these performers have is mind-blowing. These performers are so acrobatic and stunning! We splurged on front row seats and were treated to the best views and a water shield during the water spray scenes. The show is located in a tent in front of Caesars Palace. We arrived right on time. I wish we would've made it there earlier to enjoy drinks and the view before the show. The way the outside is decorated is beautiful. Definitely a place to take pictures. The blue tree is absolutely a sight to see. The inside is dimly light. Gives off a circus/enchanted feel. The show was hilarious. Definitely meant for adults. If you're not prepared to be roasted DO NOT SIT IN THE FRONT. All the performances were stunning. The performers are very talented and acrobatic. Lots of hot guys and gals that perform a variety of burlesque, acrobatics, juggling, dance routines.. all under a circus tent... front 2 rows are open game for being part of the show. The show was good, but I don't know that it was worth the nearly $200 I paid - and they were the cheapest seats we could find! Our seats were nearly directly behind the stage, which only really mattered for one performance and some of the between-show banter. The central stage was perfectly visible. I found some of the performances to be really impressive - the roller skating one in particular was unique and cool. However, some of the performances were also just okay; you can definitely find similar acrobatics for cheaper prices in Cirque, for example. The smallness of the theater helped because we could see the performers much closer though. The stuff between the performances was kind of mid imo - the jokes were fine, but having the audience members do one of the shows felt like kind of a waste. I was personally there to be wowed by the pros, so I wish they just had something else instead. read more

This is the most incredible cirque show right on the strip at Caesar's Palace. It is a little pricier than other cirque shows, but it is way more interactive and intimate which makes it worth the price. This is a whole experience and I love that it is in a circus tent. There is a fun outdoor area with cool photo opportunities. There is a bar inside the venue and outside. I got the Unicorn signature cocktail and it was awesome! The show has some of the most insane acts I've ever seen. My jaw dropped during every number. There is also a character that acts as the Master of Ceremonies and does some improv comedy throughout. He was hilarious. It definitely is a raunchy show, so if that's not your scene, I would recommend a different cirque show. However, my friend and I had a blast! Originally didn't plan on seeing this show during our visit but my boss had seen it before and said it's the best show in Vegas! SO, he got my by and I tickets as my birthday present and we were thrilled and super excited to see it! We walked over since it wasn't that far of a walk from our hotel and parking nowadays charges for everything. Our show was a late night one and for some reason when we got there, the QR codes weren't working. Luckily the will call booth helped us out and were able to find our tickets to print out! We walked in and my bf ordered a drink from their bar. We were already a bit late but the people inside helped us find our seats no problem. Not a fancy tent but fancy enough for what it is. It's a giant circus tent, basic folding chairs but one hell of a show. We were immediately laughing as soon as we sat down. The humor, acting, performers were all spectacular and did an amazing job. I've always seen cirque shows, KÀ being my favorite, and this one is definitely up there! Might even be close to my top favorite. It was an amazing show with raunchy humor, definitely come see it if you can handle that kind of humor because they go all out! Still an amazing performance even if you don't care for the jokes. Loved the show! So many good things to say, but it's hard to adequately explain the show. So, I'll start from the beginning. There is a waiting area near the glowing tree you can see from outside the gates. Here, you'll find booths where you can order drinks and a bite to eat. We ordered the burger combo with tots and it was delicious. We got two cocktails, one each, and they were very tasty as well. There is also a little bar just inside. Our seats were table ones. While it was all a little close, seating-wise, the tables are your better option when it comes to having a table for your drinks and a little more elbow and leg room. The show itself was a mixture of comedy, circus-style acts (with a modern twist), and a ringmaster who likes to hurl comedic insults at the audience. If you're easily offended or reluctant to hear sexual innuendo, this is not the show for you. To be fair, anyone buying tickets for this show should be COMPLETELY aware of this, based on everything I found online. They aren't trying to keep this a secret from anyone! They do involve the audience at times so you've been warned. Also, Wanda was hilarious and the Fairy was captivating. The acts we saw were mostly different from the ones displayed on the wall and website. I'm guessing there is a rotation of acts, making it likely that a different show would have new acts to enjoy!
