The best show in LV! Will go second time! It's truly magic and amazing!!!! Lots of chance to engage with the show! They even have free greet and meet after the show if they have time! Definitely a MUST go!

I had no idea what I was expecting from this show, which is located in the Horseshoe Las Vegas. If you are in the area, I would suggest going to this show for sure! The magician is named Frederick da Silva. He is originally from Europe but has lived in America for quite some time! Without spoiling the show, it is truly unbelievable how he comes up with these answers, and it does look like he can read into random audiences. Overall, I am still stunned at how he was able to do it, and if you have free time or need to see a show, this would be on top of my list!

    Go watch his show!

Yes. Go. Frederic puts on a heck of a show. He did this "distant touch" illusion (or whatever it's called) in his act. He does a free meet and greet at the end of the show (seemed that practically everybody who watched him wanted to meet him and get a photo because he impressed his audience that much). He did that distant touch thing on me. I've been trying to figure out how he did that since I saw his show. I wanted a hoodie or something he could autograph, but he doesn't seem interested in self promotion just for money. He wants to just refine his craft and put on a good show -- and he's succeeded. I was in cranky mood before the show and I was a hard audience member to impress. At the end I gave him a standing ovation -- and he deserves the acclaim his audience gives him. Thanks Frederic for a memorable show. I'll recommend it to people I know. I hope your show is around for decades to come.

LOCATED AT THE HORSESHOE Located in the Horseshoe hotel in Las Vegas (Formerly Bally's). It took a little bit of finding, but once we entered the hotel, we went up an escalator and found the line waiting to enter. There are bathrooms located outside the theater. SMALL THEATER The theater is small and dimly lit. Our seats were like dining table chairs that were located on flat ground. The stage is elevated. I wouldn't bother paying extra for VIP seats myself. There's a bit of 'wind up hype' before the show and a couple of videos on monitors. AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION BY RANDOM PICK... It's basically a one-man magic show that appears to be mind reading. There is a fair amount of audience participation. My mom and I (In our 50s and 70s) were shrinking in our seats, hoping not to be picked! They typically threw beach balls and frisbees around for random picks, so don't catch them if you don't want to participate! It was a decent show and you'll be amazed how he does it, but there was something awkward/repetitive/flat about it for me. Still, quite impressive. I enjoyed the segment about the magician where he talked and showed photos of his progression to becoming what he is today. One trick where a participant had to draw something on a white board and the magician had to guess what it was went slightly awry as he could tell she'd drawn something "risqué" that couldn't be shown to the audience. She had to redraw her item. MEET THE MAGICIAN After the show, you can line up and meet the magician. (We didn't). BOUGHT TIX IN ADVANCE We saw a different variety of 3 shows over 3 days in Vegas (not our first trip). We booked all of them on-line before the trip. Tickets were digital on my phone. Tip: We ate at Maxie's at the Linq Promenade after the show. Helpful?

Really amazing show that was quite different than other shows in Las Vegas! I can see from our faces how surprised and shocked we are. I still cannot believe it is real in life but hard to tell how he makes it happen. A lot of interactions during the show which feels more fun and real. There is another chance to experience it firsthand after show. That's fantastic! Blow our minds! Strongly recommend it if you and your family have time to explore it by yourself!

It takes a lot to impress me. I was blown away from start to finish. Thankfully for yelp I stumbled across this show. Frederic just kept the amazement coming. He truly is amazing. It is as if he knows the answer to the question he is going to as you before he even asks it. Please do not leave Vegas until you see this show. Every day at 4pm. tickets are inexpensive. Appropriate for all ages. At the end of the performance I gave my first standing ovation. It was that good. Go see Paranormal. You will be glad you did.

I was looking for a show to take my mom for her birthday and found Paranormal Las Vegas for a great deal on Vegas.com. When it comes to magic, I'm usually more impressed with mind reading tricks as opposed to a prop-filled show - so I was super excited. When we first got there, I was already loving the atmosphere and vibes - even the bartender was pulling off some magic tricks of his own. There was perhaps about a hundred of us in the crowd - so I liked that it was a very intimate setting. After Frederick came on, his presence and humor was amazing from the beginning to the end- all his tricks were very interactive - and it was clear that it was not staged at all. Everyone was pulled by random! At the end, we got the chance to do a meet and greet with him. For my mom, he asked her to pick a number - and surprisingly it was her birthday! He even had it written down before she said it. We were all wondering how did he just do that?! I highly recommend his show if you want some real entertainment.

We had a lot of fun at this show. Took the in laws visiting from Ohio during Thanksgiving. Frederic Da Silva is a very seasoned performer. He does his magic effortlessly. Very entertaining. Hubby went up on stage for a series of "illusions". Frederic allows one on one visits with him backstage after each show. He is very very good at what he does. It's one of the best value for your money shows. The showroom was a bit clugey (wobbly chairs), but they use the room to run four different shows a day. It is an intimate venue in that your not more than four or five rows back at worst. All were probably good seats viewing wise. But kudos to Frederic and his entertaining show.

Are the General Admission seats OK or should I purchase Premium seat tickets for a more enjoyable experience? Thanks!

You don't need to buy premium, even the cheapest seats are ok. It only holds about 160 people, and the cheap seats are not far from the stage

No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't stop wondering how he was doing any of it. Mat Franco is probably best known for winning Season 9 of America's Got Talent and now performs his residency, Magic Reinvented Nightly, at The LINQ in Las Vegas. I don't want to say too much because part of the fun is experiencing it for yourself. What I loved most was how much he interacted with the audience. It didn't feel like he was just performing at the crowd. He involved people throughout the show and made the entire room feel part of the experience. Every time I thought I had something figured out, another trick would happen and completely change my mind. Seeing magic on TV is one thing, but seeing it happen right in front of you is mind-blowing. If you've ever been curious about magic or wanted to see a Vegas show that's different from the typical concerts and productions, I would definitely recommend this one. I left amazed and still thinking about some of the tricks afterward.

Before the show someone from the back comes out and picks certain people who will be called on during the show. For Stuart McLeod, a very funny guy but a definitely scripted performance with the audience members he picks on. A staff member came out and talked to two people sitting behind us and we listened very closely as they were told that they would be chosen, the question they are going to be asked and what their response should be. Stuart throws two frisbees out to the audience and it's supposed to be random however, two kids were picked. One boy caught the frisbee and Stuart asked him to give it to the girl behind him which he did. Then Stuart asked her to pick a number between 25 and 100 and told her NOT to pick 67 but of course she did which went along with the number writing skit he did. Obviously it was not random but staged for the trick to work. Shin Lim, WOW!!! He had practiced long and hard to perfect his craft and he is amazing. Many tricks are easy to figure out as you can see how it comes to fruition. Tables are used through his act and most have a hidden area for him to grab things from underneath. Even though you can see his sleight of hand preparing to make the illusion happen, he is an amazing magician. Some tricks will leave you stunned and the audience members he picks I did not see them being prepped before the show so I believe they were unknown and saw the magic close up. Shin Lim is an amazing magician as I said and it's no wonder why he won AGT twice, FISM and is now in Vegas. He is a Vegas show worth going to and more than once, just a very cool experience. His wife is a part of the show, she does magic tricks as well which shows how talented she is as well as a trapeze ring act. She was really good and I only wish she would have been performed a little longer. Shin Lim had Mackenzie Sol who was in the top 24 of American Idol come out and sign some during his magic acts, Magic to Music. Mackenzie is a very good singer and it gelled well with the show. I would go see the show again as it was very entertaining. It started on time unlike most other Vegas shows and was an amazing 90 minute show worth seeing. I highly recommend this show. Yes you can figure out some of the magic being done if you watch closely, but the amount of prep and practice that Shin Lim has had to endure to perfect his craft, he is worth supporting. There's a cool audience participation part by Shin, and engaging acts from the other magician, Colin. One thing that I thought was odd was an aerial rope act that felt disconnected from the rest of the show, and somewhat clumsy. I sat there blinking like a confused owl for a good few minutes wondering how it fit into the show, which btw, runs for about 90 minutes. Overall, it had its moments, but didn't fully come together the way I was hoping.

I am confident that my wallet was left in the showroom area and would have likely been found during the post-show cleaning process. However, despite multiple attempts to contact the venue and follow up with lost and found, I was repeatedly told that no wallet had been turned in. This wallet had several hundred dollars. Losing a wallet is stressful enough, especially when it contains important items like a driver's license, bank cards, and cash. What was most frustrating was the lack of resolution and the feeling that there was little accountability for property left behind by guests. While I cannot say with certainty what happened to my wallet, the circumstances left me questioning how lost items are handled after a show. I expected a more thorough investigation and better communication throughout the process. I need cameras to be checked because it's not like I lost a wallet with $20 , whoop de doo. I think if any employee found a wallet with this much cash, who knows what they would do if found. Would they turn it in? Who knows. If they reviewed camera and confirmed a guest picked it up then okay but prove me wrong. I hope management reviews its lost-and-found procedures to ensure guests can have confidence that valuable belongings will be properly safeguarded and returned when found. I've been working with Harvey in Security and I'm very happy with my conversation I had with him yesterday. I hope to see progress. I'm willing to update my review upon investigation completion.

While we were on vacation in Vegas, we were looking for something to do and my husband suggested we go and I'm so glad he did. I was completely mind blown!!! I'll start with the only downside: there were a few moments in the show that felt unnecessary and oversexualized, with dancers and content that felt a bit too much, especially with young kids in the audience. That part made me a little uncomfortable and felt like it could be toned down or removed. That said, everything else was incredible!! The Cadillac and the UFO are big, solid illusions and not nearly as obvious as the classic "disappear on stage" routine. In this case, the magician vanishes, then slowly shuffles along the second-level seating wall like a 70-year-old man heading for a walker, climbs into a box, and magically "reappears." The problem is timing. The walk takes so long you could go to Excalibur, order a venti latte, and still be back before he pops out on the box. The hairpiece deserves its own mention. The color is so unnatural it's distracting. You spend half the time wondering who thought that shade was a good idea. The show itself feels lifeless. Add to that the constant surveillance by ushers and security making sure nobody even thinks about touching their phone, and the whole experience starts to feel less like a theater and more like Alcatraz back when it was still a prison. I always thought "Criss Angel at the Luxor" was the worst show I'd ever seen in Las Vegas. Turns out he now has real competition. At this point, you can choose between Copperfield, Criss Angel, or Frank Marino and waste your money in three different ways if you wish... (Marino made the money from the Make a Wish fundation disappear.. thats more magic then copperfield delivered) By the end, the only real question left is whether this is about money or ego. Sometimes it's better to stop while you're still on a high. Again, two of the tricks are big and impressive. Everything else is a tired collection of illusions I've seen dozens of times, wrapped in a cheesy alien storyline that goes nowhere. The theater itself is old and outdated, classic "Las Vegas seating." At least there's no pushy cocktail service knocking over your knees with overpriced drinks. Still, for a Sunday night, roughly 150 people in the house didn't help the mood at all. Save your money. Vegas has enough bad shows already.

The guy with a mask was super awesome and hilarious!! lol Whenever I have friends or family in town I'm always going to take them to this show. What's more funny I've been following this magician on YouTube and didn't know it was him that just made my night:) At the end of the show you get to take a picture with Savior and team for free. I really wanted to take a picture with Xavier and Bell. But next time I will for sure that I am now a big fan.

This is definitely a general audience show without it being too toned down that it turns into a strictly children's show. I will say that at it's current location at the Strat, I'd suggest buying seats that are further away from the stage if you don't want the tricks spoiled for you. My husband and I were seated next to the stage (stage left) and unfortunately could see how many of the tricks were done because of how close our seats were to the performance. (Ex: one of the fabric backdrops has a secret opening that up close, is visibly more dirty than the rest of the backdrop.) On the flip side, if you want to see how the tricks are done, get the VIP seats next to the stage. I won't spoil it by explaining which tricks get spoiled, but you'll see at least 4-5. My husband and I still had a good time but I think I'd enjoy it more if the tricks were still a mystery.
