I had a dermabrasion that I bought through a Groupon. I was able to get a same day appointment which was nice. They did price match the Groupon price which was nice. I had a bit of a hard time finding the place but ultimately did. I have had countless facials and numerous dermabrasion in the past. I felt the service was very rushed, not detailed, and not nearly as thorough as other services. I don't think there was a massage, and don't think there was much thoroughness when removing the dead skin with the Microderm device. Overall it was a bit disappointing. read more

Don't do it. This review is for Body Treatments. If your preferred communication method is text only, this experience is for you, except that I was advised expressly against hydrating before, during or after an infrared body wrap session when in fact, the opposite is true and in fact STRONGLY encouraged. Therein lies the reason free form text is not preferable (for me) especially when there's no other resource to inform me as a new customer about eligibility, do and don'ts or what to expect. Prior to my visit, the owner, Diana encouraged me to continue my exercise routine for the best results and in the course of doing so, I have back soreness of some sort. It hasn't prevented my routine but it does exist. Well, in filling out the forms Leah provided when I arrived for today's session, I said yes to sprain/strain and then asked Leah to clarify the statement on page 2 of the required forms which states " I am aware that any of the contrainventions ....",. I was told it is what "they" sent to me before booking. I replied, I didn't receive anything to this effect. Leah said, we did and started to scroll in her cell for "the text message about it." Another reason an email or screenshot of a form/policy is more effective. Anywho, so, go figure, after all that scroll, Lean realized, "they" did NOT send it. Then, Leah said it was referring to everything listed on the first page. I followed up to point out I answered yes to one of them. She said she needed to call Diana (pronounced Dee-Ana) and it turned out that I couldn't be serviced. After making the trek there for service, paying a deposit more than 6 weeks ago, etc. Needless to say, this could've been avoided as to save us both time. The upside is I wasn't fully hydrated because I started the morning avoiding water. Haha. Before the text said "isn't advised" instead "it is advised". Selah. One would think Leah/Diana would've said, once the injury is resolved or etc, reschedule. Nope. Just that I'm ineligible. To add insult to injury, the aesthetician, Leah who provided me the intake forms and no-go news had "the nerve" to ask me if I wanted to get a facial instead. Huh? For the inconvenience? For a reduced rate? Or in the place of the sessions purchased? Would it be too much trouble to lead with an apology for any inconvenience this cause or blank trip over to the salon and for the poor communication? My two stars were given because they are responsive to texts (super quick) and the decor in the salon is nice. read more

This is my first time going in for a enzyme facial with their esthetician Jamie. She was very kind and calming, she talked me through the steps as she completed the facial and really helped me feel relaxed after a stressful day (I loved the icy globes). Made an appointment for a chemical peel at this spa. I definitely was not disappointed. Kaitlyn greeted me and was very professional. Throughout the entire hour of my facial she explained step by step what she was going to be doing and asked me along the way if everything was ok. Not only did I have the chemical peel, but I also had the vitamin c mask, a double cleanse, an enzyme treatment, a light exfoliation , warm steam with extractions, red light therapy and a wonderful neck and shoulder massage. So relaxing... My daughter will be going for an acne facial with Kaitlyn. This spa did not disappoint! read more

I've been here a few times now for a couple things... mainly for the body wraps and exfoliates suggested by a friend. I'm a guy so I know very little about this stuff but bear with me. I love to work out and I heard doing a body wrap is a great way to keep muscle but lose a little fat at the same time. I purchased a package of 3 and I've already seen benefits so I'll probably do another 3 before the summer. Plus, the place was clean and the girl who owns the place is very knowledgeable. The owner, Diana, is amazing. She is really nice and is very knowledgeable about skin care. I started going to her in February 2015 because I was suffering from acne on my face. She set me up for a six treatment every 2 week and my skin clear up tremendously. Now I go once a month to work on my acne scars. When I met with the owner, I was so pleased that I had stopped in there. I was going to another spa and the niceness and professionalism doesn't even compare. The location was very convenient, and so clean that I had no worries. I really like that she answered all my questions without hesitating. She gave me a great solution for my adult acne that I get once in a while. I recommended her and her place to a lot of my girlfriends. This is by far the worst service I have ever encountered. I was given this chemical peel as a gift at Absolute Aesthetic from Groupon . I schedule an appointment. The morning of the appointment she called and said her dog was sick and she could reschedule for later in the day but said she's still not sure if she would be able to make it in. So at this point I decided to schedule it for another day as I felt sorry for someone having a sick dog to take care of. When I went in for the appointment I schedule for another day she said she thought it was going to be an hour later than when I arrived but I had it written down. She said she didn't have my number (which she should have because when I had make the appointment it was over a voicemail where she returned my call) to confirm the appointment. Anyway she was friendly up to this point and said she will be with me shortly. I went into her room, I was very excited as this was my first time getting a chemical peel. She explained the procedure and what peel she was using. Then she said she will be back, just get comfortable, take off your shoes, relax etc. When she came back she was in a frenzy. I can't do this. I feel dizzy. I don't know what happened. You should get a refund. Now I am thinking why would she want to just jump to a refund instead of suggesting rescheduling. I am not white and she was; was she not comfortable working with my skin tone and freaked out. She was perfectly normal five min. before. Other than her mental frenzy she was running around fine. She wasn't flushed or seeking any medical attention. I am so disappointed. I feel cheated; I wasted over 1.5 hours behind this lady. I hope this review helps other from wasting their precious time behind someone who isn't capable of performing a service they claim to be providing and has no respect of others. read more
