In retrospect that should've been suspect... Roy, the tech (?) came & hooked up the suction unit, then told me I had mold in the ac handler. Trying to up sell me, which I wasn't in the market to buy. He copped an attitude & sat in the truck while the cleaning pursued. Two days later my newer Trane unit shut off. The Nest thermostat said the power to rc wire was off. My regular ac tech had done a tune up 2 weeks before & came out to check it. I told him of the duct work. He looked for a blockage he might've missed and found none. He suspected the pan under the unit had been cracked in retribution. This is costing $800 to $900 in repairs. The Blue Air Duct Cleaning receipt's phone #s are disconnected and address shows located in Orlando. I'm going to investigate more through the BBB and see if this company has anything to do with my experience. Until then, buyer beware!

Yet he never once went up in the attic to even look at any of the existing duct work. Needless to say, the quote was ridiculous. Got two other estimated from other companies at 15000 and 16,800.

When I brought this up to the company and requested a refund, I was told that I had paid for a basic cleaning, which covered the interior of the duct lines but didn't include vents and covers, and that those were covered under a deep cleaning service. I was not informed that there was a difference in cleaning types when setting up the service, and I noted that their website didn't specify this, either. Specifically, their website states, "Utilizing advanced equipment and industry-approved techniques, our skilled technicians meticulously clean all components of your duct system. This includes the supply and return ducts, registers, grills, diffusers, and associated parts." Their website also uses the phrase "beyond basic cleaning" to describe their sanitation and deodorization services--not their register/grille cleaning. After I pointed out via text that their website doesn't distinguish between basic and deep cleaning, I was ghosted. If you're going to pay for this, be aware of what you're getting.
