One of the most unprofessional experiences I've had with a company in a long time…read more First of all, be warned, this company uses a mix or AI (robots), international customer service, and local people, to handle their inbound calls. So you never know if you're speaking to someone local, someone over seas, or a robot. I called and scheduled an appointment to have my kitchen sink snaked, using their $93 or free promotion. The tech was supposed to arrive between 1-5 pm. (I later figured out that I was talking to AI, to schedule this). So the following morning, I get a call, from a human in their office, saying no, I need to be home at 11 AM, because the plumber will arrive earlier. So I had to leave my job at 10:45 AM to meet this plumber. By 12:30 he had not arrived, so I called the office. The office informs me, we never said at 11, we said AFTER 11 (this is absolutely NOT what they had said to me). They proceed to inform me that the plumber only has one stop before me, and should arrive early afternoon. By 3:30 pm he STILL had not arrived, and I had missed almost an entire day of work. I called the office again, and got an over-seas customer service person who had no idea what was gong on. This so-called plumber shows up at 5:15 pm! He brings in a hand snake, that looks like a child's preschool toy, and performs one of the most half-assed, half-hearted attempts to clear a drain that I've ever seen. He says he can't clear it without a power auger. (Anyone with half a brain would have brought a power auger with them initially). He says he can do it tomorrow, with a power auger, for $500!! At this point I told him to leave. There was no charge for service since he was unable to clear the drain. BUT, this is a BAIT AND SWITCH sales tactic. Advertise one price and service, and then BAM, hit you with a higher price. This waste of time cost me nearly an entire day of work. I was able to get a different company to come out and clear the drain that same evening. The other company arrived on time, and cleared the drain for only $200, less that half the price that M & S wanted to charge me.

They cleaned and tuned up my unit 2x a year every year. Except I missed my two tuneups last year due to renovations at my home. How can a new unit "cleaned" 2x a year become a $900+ clean out in one year? I change my filter 1x a month regardless of how it looks. I clean the drain to outside 1x a month in the summer and once in the winter. He even said my discharge from the drain was very clean. Did the coil get that dirty because for 4 years it's never been cleaned? A vacuum was never run for the handler. So it's dirty, we leave it? How is this cleaning to almost factory condition like their "bait" letter promises? 26 high impact procedures for the tune-up. Oh and because it's dirty with dust and hair, he suggests that I need a new component outside that isn't kicking in at full capacity. The part is under warranty, but it's $215 to install. I'm feel so angry and upset. I paid $8,000 for this from that company and I still don't have it paid off yet. So after just four years, I need a $1,215 repair? I don't really know why I'm giving two stars. He showed up, took pictures, checked the ducts and cleaned the pipe I already clean and the drip pan I don't know how to get to.
