First time ever doing lashes. I got natural. It wasn't noticeable at all. One eye was perfect and the other eye the lashes had crisscrossed. The eye that crisscrossed the lashes come off within a week or two. The perfect eye they stayed for a month. Looked strange to have long lashes on one eye than the other. I ended up pulling them off. I can't imagine spending full price. Asa is very nice and the atmosphere is relaxing. No pain getting them done. Lashes aren't for me I guess. read more

I went to her through Groupon and I love mine. I've already booked my next appointment. I have no idea what other reviewers are talking about... Maybe she read the reviews and upped her game because I'm really happy with mine. I told her I want mine to look natural but long and they feel and look good. (I'll post a picture). They don't look or feel like cheap plastic as other people have stated. She was really nice, I told her exactly what I wanted (she has pictures on the wall and you can show her what you want, which was helpful). This was my first time getting lashes, and although I am happy with the look of them, I wouldn't go back to this salon. At first glance the lashes look great, although I would agree with the other reviewers that she does use a lot of lash glue, and doesn't fan for very long post-application. I received a total of 15 seconds with a fan on my face to set the glue, and at the end of the whole process my left eye was glued shut. She got the eye open relatively painlessly, with some burning but I was not impressed. Throughout the entire process, she didn't explain what she was doing, I wasn't certain about the cleanliness of the location or the tools used either. As a first timer, it would have been nice to see the tools she was going to use for the lash application, and have her explain the process to me before just jumping right in. I was left feeling uncomfortable, and unknowing if the slight burning I kept feeling in my eyes as she applied the lashes was "normal"...At this point, I am still unsure. I felt rushed in and out of the salon, and this entire process was done within 30 minutes, when I was told it would be an hour appointment. I am now only 3 days post-application, and already lashes are falling out in one eye, and not the other. I too, am noticing on one eye my lashes are going crisscrossed, while the other eye remains fine. I am not sure how long these lashes will last, but I am left feeling disappointed in the result. Perhaps if she took more time, the results would have been better, and I would return to the salon, unfortunately this is not the case. You get what you pay for! Her lashes are applied at the base of your natural lash and does not leave a 1mm - 2mm space. So you can feel the lashes if you're wearing sunglasses, or if you're brushing your lashes. She uses a lot of glue, and does not fan for as long as she should, so there is stinging when you first open your eyes. Asa totally listens to what you want though, I told her I wanted super dramatic and that's exactly what I got. She's also a very sweet lady! read more

Worst lash place ever. I purchased a Groupon that said I would get a set of MINK lashes. I've had Mink lashes done before where I picked out the variety of lengths and curl etc. At Absolute Beauty by Asa, I didn't get to pick anything, she told me to lay on the table and close my eyes. To prevent lashes from sticking to my bottom lashes she used SCOTCH TAPE to tape them down!!!! Are you kidding me!?! Additionally, the lashes she used are cheap synthetic lashes and NOT mink lashes as promised in the Groupon. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! I don't know what glue she used, but she applied it so heavily it felt like a huge weight on my lids. Additionally she didn't let it dry completely so when I opened my eyes it stung so badly. Half the lashes fell out within a week and the other half pulled out my real lashes. She does a poor job separating the lashes when gluing them on so they get clumped together and look crappy and when they fall off of one lash they are still attached to more so it looks weird and sometimes hurts. I do not recommend you get lashes done here. My lashes are ruined because of the fake lashes she put on. read more

What an unfortunate experience! I went with low expectations, as I always do wherever I go. HOWEVER.... I felt like this women just wanted to make more money somehow and cheap out on her service and quality of work. Firstly,... I was going to purchase a Groupon but called to see if I could get the Groupon price through her. She agreed. However I called back to let her know that Groupon had a special 20% off, so she agreed to do so. When I arrived and told her I was purchasing one for my friend too she didn't want to do it, so I said that's fine I'll buy her one elsewhere...she quickly changed her mind and agreed to do it for the same price. I found her eyelashes cheap (in quality).....definitely not mink! When I went to get them filled in (ps....$1.50 per lash - INSANE) she tried to tell me I needed 20-25 lashes, when I only need 5 on each. SCAM! She used too much glue... lashes fall out in clumps and she does NOT dry your lashes fully so your eyes BURN like a hell from the glue. I would NOT recommend this place.... Also, to top it off...her bed (that you lay on for an hour or so) is SOOOO uncomfortable. It's like a rock. She also doesn't change the pape rtowel that you put your head on after customers (as the lashes from the previous client are everywhere), nor are the sheets clean! EPIC FAIL! So I got a set of mink eyelashes from this retailer and although they did last the 3 weeks as promised, they were of such terrible quality that I could not wait until they fell out. From the onset I should have been wary, as the glue was burning my eyes when she was doing the application and when I told her she basically shrugged it off as being completely normal. Again, I'm not sure if she used a ridiculous amount of glue but I noticed clumps of glue so close to my lash line and my left eye was in an incredible amount of pain. I considered getting them removed because I was so uncomfortable but decided against it when one extension fell out with a clump of my real eyelashes. Needless to say, as much as they looked very nice for like a day, the eyelashes she used were cheap and looked unruly within a couple of days. Pretty disappointed and my natural eyelashes are so short now because of the amount of glue she used on each eyelash. I've since gotten a new set since I came here and there's no comparison, I literally feel nothing and the extensions are manageable and not cheap looking. read more

I would not go back. If you can not afford to provide service through Groupon as " I do not make money" then do not use Groupon. Eyelashes applied on 3/4 of the length of eyelid looked ridiculous, you did not ask if that is what I want so do not assume; and DO NOT tell me you have no time to fix it- I do not care about your other client waiting, I came on time. Overall, quality of work very average, lots of glue result in feeling of heavy eyelids all of the time. Came back to remove lashes 3 weeks later. read more

I had my lashed done 5 weeks ago. I still have quite a bit of the extensions left on my eyelashes, but I do have a number of complaints. First, she got a ton of glue into my eyes, not that my eyelids were stuck together or anything like that, its just that when I went to open my eyes, they were burning so much and I had to keep re- closing them so she could dab them. when I did finally get to take a proper look at the eyelashes, although I did want a dramatic set, they were just so fake looking and cheap. the lash itself was so hard and stiff like plastic, plus it seemed as though there was more than one eyelash on an extension. Now that they are starting to shed I realize why it is taking so long for them to come off. I had one fall out the other day and there were 4 of my eyelashes attached to one extension!! I'm desperate to have them removed but fear I will be left with no eyelashes. Bottom line, I've had extensions done before and they looked and felt completely different, not to mention that the technician did not get glue into my eyes and then say that it was normal. it was my first time for eyelashes. it was convenient location and I decade give it to try. First of all it is overprised . For the full set it was 170$. Average prise 120$. But not only that. it was so much glue it hearts my natural eyelashes. So after couple of weeks I have to remove the extensions.
