My manicure looks fabulous and they were so kind to take me on short notice my first time at this place. The staff is very friendly, the salon is clean and they had a large variety of nail polish colours and types to select from. booked my first visit was nice to see great reviews and…read moresupport local business consultation seemed good, pleasant team gave me a nice trim and straightening treatment I then thought after that welcoming experience, I'd book my highlight appt came in for that appt and the owner seemed stressed and not interested in doing my hair I sat in the chair and it felt like what I asked for was understood, but then seemed to be like a bother or too much work because through my whole appointment, she was huffing and puffing and complaining I was in that chair for almost 8 hours. Never in my life have I ever been in a chair for eight hours doing highlights. During the appointment there was bleach added to the front of my head that started to burn itch and swell on my forehead into my hairline and I said oh my gosh, I'm having a reaction. She said oh it's OK. Just take a Benadryl. It was getting worse, and I asked her to wash out the bleach right away, she was so upset about that request. I got bleach in my eyes on my face. It was a disaster at the end of it all all that hair broke front where it was bleached the where it was also bleached and it's been six months and I still have all these short pieces of hair everywhere that have not grown back. She charged me a lot, took my money, I reached out the next day, saying how upset I was. She wouldn't do anything. If you can stay away from the salon, if you're doing any bleaching, I hope the story helps you make the right decision!

The gentleman who started the process handed over the job to another employee. He had started the design with larger rhinestones, but she used smaller ones when she took over. So the design was uneven with mismatched pieces. I've had this done at other salons for years, and they always reinforce the jewels with glue. But here, they simply laid them onto the wet polish without securing them further. I wore sandals the rest of the day, to assure a complete dry. Then the rhinestones came off the next day, wearing socks and shoes. It was not cheap. I want my money back.

So we keep doing the nails , shape and all and when it's time for a polish and design, owner Kenzo comes and tells me I have to do a regular polish as I didn't book the add on service for a design and her next client is already waiting. I told him I had said earlier that I wanted a design but she didn't say anything and I didn't come here for a regular polish so that's not what I wanna do. We go back and forth with him being sassy saying I booked for a full set and that is what they did. Then finally he says I can just do a colour and come back to add the design and that " later " we can talk about my coming back. So I keep calm and do a regular nude colour so I can come back and finish the set I wanted. After I'm done, I go to ask him about the next appointment. At this point he's still being rude and I say I'm not worried about whose fault this is, I want to book a next appointment to come and complete the set. I need to book said appointment. This man says to msg them on instagram (when I'm right there in front of him) and then I can book another appointment. So I leave bc I didn't want to be difficult and I messaged them and never got a response back. So now I'm going around with half done nails. I feel like he was very manipulative bc I had said what I wanted to do from the start but nobody said anything until the end when he came to tell me to do a regular nail polish. They had so much time from the start of my session to come to a resolution for me knowing the set I had come there to do had some design and I didn't book for a design(bc I didn't know it was an add on service. My first time there) but he wanted me to sit there for the whole set so I'll still have to pay for it. They kept using " later " to get me to stay and complete and bc I had seen her next client and didn't want to take out of her appointment time, I cooperated thinking he would resolve my issue at the end but at no point did he try to resolve the issue instead he kept being very rude and combative, made me leave with half done nails and ignored my message for a new appointment. Do not go here. Customer service is zero and the owner is very rude. The nails also don't last long bc this is less than 2 days later and I already have a chipped nail. While I was in store a lady came complaining her nails broke in less than 2 weeks and nobody even apologized to her. Instead they made her pay to fix it. I have added proof of the set they made me leave with and a screenshot of the message they ignored.

My nails look great and she was very attentive to detail. I got shellac manicure with chrome on top - looks awesome. They have a lot of shellac choices too. Only thing I would say to improve on (which is why I took one star off) is to let the customer know if prices differ for different products. When I called I was quoted $30 for a shellac manicure but when charged it was quite a bit higher -- most likely due to the chrome being more expensive, which I totally understand, but would have liked better if she had told me right away when I chose the colour. Either way, good job and I would recommend this place. It's clean, friendly and does not rush through their work - very attentive and a good experience over all. Just be up front with any change in costs so clients don't feel blindsided. They also offer waxing and massage and acupuncture although I cannot review those of yet. If I do, I will re-review.
