That was fine, we still made an appointment for 8:30am and told them the air blower was broken. The technician shows up an hour late blaming his truck and tells us the air blower is broken and that he'll need to come back in a few days. Took him longer to put his stickers everywhere than to look at anything. He says it'll be about $900 for parts and labor and charged $200 for the visit for Monday. I told him OK and I'll call his office back in the afternoon to schedule. I call back later in the day and it goes to voicemail so I leave a message. They never call back so I call again on Tuesday morning, spoke to someone but still had to leave a message and wait for a call back. I call back again Tuesday afternoon and the quote is now $1,100 and when I ask about the parts they want to install because I want to match what I currently have, they say they'll call back. What an absolute waste of time and money. Keep scrolling and save yourself the hassle.

However, due to a change in my work schedule, I had to call to reschedule the appointment several hours prior to the scheduled time, ended leaving another voicemail. I then received a call back before the scheduled appointment time, and the service rep did not receive my voicemail and then became annoyed that I was unable to make the appointment. The ironic fact was that because he arrived early, I would have never been at home. Service rep said he would reschedule after returning to the office. Short story - over 1 week goes by with no return call. So I call the office again (voicemail) and the service rep. Service rep told me that I need to call the office to reschedule, which I responded I did. Still never heard a new date after several more days, so I cut them loose. Cannot recommend a contractor that is not responsive, and charges $150 for a walkthrough (other companies charge nothing). Buyer beware!

Joe identified that the wall was not the contributing factor to the air mold and that the old owners must have had moldy items in the basement. We filtered the air and retested. Mold is gone. Saved us a ton of money and spent the time teaching us what to do and look for. 10/10 service

I later confirmed with Mitsubishi that the company is not Mitsubishi Diamond Certified and does not appear in their authorized installer database. Unfortunately, I had ongoing issues from the start -- the systems often stopped working, sometimes monthly, and repairs never seemed to fully resolve the problems. At one point, they told me a Mitsubishi technician came to work on the unit, but Mitsubishi had no record of that service. The office staff was always professional and pleasant to deal with, but I felt the ownership was dismissive of my concerns and would not stand behind the work. Three independent contractors who have inspected the systems have told me they found unsafe spliced wiring. Early on, heir technician stated, filters were not installed in the house on installation, months went by with no filter and he stated he believed that could have caused damage to the coils, hence the problem. I never saw that technician again, and from that point forward, my service calls were handled by what seemed to be family members of the owners. I eventually stopped trying to get the systems fixed because I was paying for repeated service visits without seeing results. This has been a very frustrating and expensive experience for me.

    DO NOT USE!…read more Scheduling: I scheduled A MONTH IN ADVANCE to get a morning appointment to clean my rental unit downtown. Although they of course wouldn't guarantee it, they said there would be a good chance. When the called the day before to tell me what time they would be arriving, I was told that my window was 1130-130. When I stated that I really needed a morning appointment, the woman proceeded to argue with me that 1130 was a morning appointment even though it only was 30 minutes in the morning. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, the gentleman was nice enough to bump it back an hour to make my window 1030-1230, which helps a little, but still not as early as I would have liked. Day of the Cleaning: Since my rental unit was being cleaned, I needed to be onsite from at least 1030 until then finished so I could let them in to the unit. I proceeded to go to the unit downtown at 930 to ensure I would not get stuck in traffic or miss their arrival. At 931am I get a phone call telling me the "truck has broken down" and that they "aren't sure they can make my appointment". So basically they weren't cancelling, but they were telling me that they may not be able to make it... but I should wait there in the case that they CAN make it. Whatever the reason may be that the truck broke down (my theory is that they didn't do routine preventative maintenance) or maybe they were lying about the truck and someone just didn't show for work, the fact that they were unable to make my scheduled appointment is unacceptable. To make this even more interesting, the "truck" was not even needed as my rental unit would need to use a portable carpet cleaning machine (which is an extra charge by the way), so they could have thrown it in a van or pickup or whatever and still come and cleaned my carpets... this leads me to believe that it wasn't the truck. Conclusion: My days of buying and/or dealing with Sears is over (we even just bought new appliances through HHGregg and didn't even go to Sears because of this instance). I have since rescheduled with Stanley Steamer, so hopefully they have better service or I might be borrowing my brother's carpet cleaner and doing this myself.
