I have been taking my pup tekila here for about 5 years now and I've never had an issue. I have always been told when grooming will take longer than expected, and they have been patient with me when I can't pick her up right away. Tuki had a really bad experience with her previous groomer. They trimmed a part of her hair too far and took a part of her skin round her stomach. When I took her the first time she was nervous and shaking. I was introduced to a weekly treatment that helped her skin heal and her hair grow back. Now when I take her I don't even need to put her on a leash. She is excited and kisses the receptionist and her groomer too. Do not recommend this place if you have a poodle. They did not even try to brush my dog, like other places. She had few small matted spots, but the groomer did not want to spend some extra time brushing and shaved my dog. Absolutely Pawfect was amazing From 2019-2021. Lately I have noticed a few things, and I am not sure if it is because of new staffing but this place is not it anymore. Pawfect was known for being a warm hearted groomer with a welcoming atmosphere and how much they focused on small details . From how they answer phone calls to presentation of my pet after her groom I can truthfully say this place has drastically decreased . Which sucks after paying $110+ for basics. They aren't as attentive to details as before. Receptionist is very unprofessional, arguing with me for a simple question. Prices scorched up and my dog doesn't get groomed fully or even get a bandana anymore. I know it's silly to care about a bandana but It's the small things that make a place Absolutely Pawfect! Today's appointment I dropped Bella off at 10 am she wasn't done until 3pm . She got home extremely thirsty so I'm unsure if she was given water. I love my pet I'm sorry to say they lost a loyal customer today.. Have to appreciate the old days though. I have a big dog but he's a baby and gets scared. The staff sees this everyday I'm sure but when I bring him in they talk gently to him and reassure me they will call me if he a hard time. They never have to call me. He comes out of there strutting like he's a prince! It's a busy place and they understand that your pet is your family and that pet owners are sometimes just as nervous as the pet themselves when dropping them off. I've been coming here for years . Yesterday when I dropped my dog off I got a call within 45 mins asking if my dog came in with "A Scratch" , I asked to see a picture and got sent this picture below . OPEN FLESH . The staff couldn't give me a straightforward answer because apparently no one was around when it happened . First they said a knob fell on his nose , next they said he rubbed it against something in the bath tub , then the owner called me and said perhaps it was from being in the Kennel or a skin condition .... Mind you my dog was dropped off in perfect condition . My dog was ready to bolt out the door once I arrived to pick him up . To me , it looks like a dog bite because what else would cause an open wound . No one is taking accountability and it is so frustrating picking up your baby in this condition . No one was apologetic and they kept saying "accidents happen ". The business owner was rude and unapologetic and upon telling her I would take my dog to the vet to get it checked out she said they would only help cover the cost AFTER taking to the Dr to see if it was their fault . Very unprofessional and you could tell these people are truly not dog people . Prepaid for my appointment upon dropping off my dog. Six hours later (they were closing) they called stating that they were overbooked and had never gotten to my dog. They did offer to stay to work on him but at that point, he was sitting alone in a room for 6 hours. When I called the next day for a refund, they took a $25 appointment fee out of my refund. When I spoke to the manager, she decided that I owed the $25 despite pre paying for the appointment, abandoning my pet for 6 hours before calling me, and never mentioning it prior to booking AND paying for the appointment. I took my 2 fur babies here for the first time this place is nice the customer service is great ! I hate bad customer service and these ladies were so accommodating to get both dogs in. I usually go to another whim I luv dearly but she had an emergency and my appointment was rescheduled so needless to say I tried this dog spa out I was very please with my dogs cuts, the one down fall is it was a little pricy for me i usually spend less than $75 for my 2 little dogs but they looked amazing I live the way they rounded off my shihpoo feet. Lily is amazing.! My little Havanese, Trixie, is very timid -- especially with groomers. She often comes home traumatized, half trimmed, and (from one place) covered in cuts. Trixie especially hates to have her paws touched and no groomer will do her nails. Saturday, Trix saw Lily for the first time. My baby came home totally calm and relaxed, beautifully trimmed and styled, and with her nails done. I don't know what Lily's magic is, but she is far and away the best groomer little Trix has ever had. PLEASE READ! I have been taking my dog here for about 6 months. They do take a long time to just bathe my dog, but I wish this was my only complaint. The last few times I took my dog to this place I asked them not to remove my dogs Seresto collar. This was per my vets recommendation. Per the front desk receptionist the last few baths they were aware. Last week I went to pick up my dog and they handed me her seresto collar. This collar should have never came off and there is not even a way to remove it. They stretched it over her head to get off and now it won't be as productive. When I asked why they took it off the front desk girl apologized and said she would get back to me. Long story short I'm upset because these collars are not cheap and they took this off by forcing it over her head. The owner called me and asked me why I was so upset because dogs actually die during getting groomed and they just removed her collar. Needless to say she was very rude and I told her I would be writing a review to share my experience with others. She then stated she would call her lawyers to sue me for defamation of character. Maybe she thought this would scare me to not leave a public review? I know my rights and I wonder how many others she has tried to scare or bully from leaving an honest review. At the end of the conversation, she offered to write me a check if I never walked into her establishment again. Then she hung up on me. 4 minutes after hanging up on me she called back from her personal number and said she talked to her lawyer and was wondering if I taped her. Does that sound weird to you? I hung up on her because at this point I felt like I was getting attacked. At this point I will not be providing her with a bill for the new collar due to believing she will need the money once her customers realize the lack of professionalism at this establishment. read more

All the staff were incredibly nice and helpful for our first time going there, but I can't leave that nice of a review in terms of their grooming. We took our puppy there for his first grooming and we're nervous how he would behave but after we picked him up they said he was perfect just wiggly. His haircut was all jagged and different lengths all along his body and his nails were still sharp. But, my overall concern was the large cut on his testes that we had to deal with 2 weeks after his haircut. He had to wear a cone and a diaper and get medicine on it until it healed. Nothing of this was mentioned to me or it wasn't noticed and I paid $78 for him to now have trauma when it comes to grooming. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I brought in my St. Bernard who was extremely dehydrated and limping out of the building when I picked him up. He was not given enough water and no potty breaks for 6 hours. The cut was poor, matting under the arms and legs, ears were not even touched, paw pads and nails were not done. Payed extra for "deshedding" and clumps of hair are still coming off my dog. After we got home he started bleeding from his paw and upon closer inspection he was nicked. I was never informed about this. A huge warning to people with giant breed dogs, DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. It's so sad because they could easily kill a dog, more so a giant breed, not giving it enough water and putting them in a hot room. Asked for a refund and the manger refused and asked I bring my dog back. I would never put my dog through that, explained he was dehydrated and I can't trust them with my dog again and they still refused a refund. The manager was very dismissive and talked over me the entire conversation. Now I have to take my dog to another groomer and pay full price to get him groomed. Worst experience I have ever had at any business let alone one that we trust with our beloved family members. Absolutely shameful. Also take notice of every negative comment on this business and you will see the owner's response is to point the finger at her customers rather than taking these reviews as an opportunity to learn and grow her business. I fully expect her to deny everything I wrote in this review just like with every other customer. Don't believe it. This place is neglecting your pet. 100% read more

If you want your dog kept in a cage for 3 to 4 hours Absolutely Pawfect is your place to go. This place caged my miniature poodle for 4 hours, I caught them this time. This has been the 5th time that my dog has taken over 7 hours to get serviced start to finish. The last time I took him it took them 6 hours to give him a wash only no other service was administered. When I questioned them how long was my dog in the kennel? They refused to answer and asked me to pick up the dog without a cut. They are very unprofessional at this place, do not go here. read more

We've been taking our dogs to Absolutely Pawfect for 10+ years and I can honestly say that I've never had a poor experience here. Samantha has always been great with our dogs and is amazing at what she does. She always cuts our border collie's hair perfectly - never too short, and her de-shedding treatment definitely helps! It's pricey (about $65 for deshedding, teeth cleaning, nail trimming, etc), but they really do provide an excellent service here. Highly recommend! read more
