I had been having some electrical issues affecting my bathrooms, GFCI's and my daughter's room the past few months and it was really wonky the past few days. They found over half of the breakers in the panel MELTED and BURNT ! I decided to have the panels and all circuits and breakers entirely replaced and they did it all today ! I highly recommend this company if anyone needs an AWESOME electrician company in Laplace !

We hired Knock Out Electric/ George Murphy to do the electrical for a basic kitchen remodel. The…read moresubs he sent in to do the work ( neither are employees of his from what I understand) were incompetent. The first, who after 2 days on the job we requested he not come back d/t concerns of his mental health or other issues- and d/t messing up the recessed lights layout and transformer wiring. The second sub, was labeled the "project lead" and we were told to work with him to finish things up. Well he couldn't figure out how to make the cabinet lights work on a dimmer. His solution was to replace the whole set-up with AC tape lights, instead of just figuring out the transformer etc.. When we expressed our concerns to George he said he'd handed over the contract to Adam/ the second sub, and if we wanted the work finished/ fixed we'd have to pay him/ George more. Feels like a scam! So we're left with unfinished kitchen lights- they left a mess several times - and they refuse to finish. AND George deleted our communication on the joist app so we can't access the original estimate. Why would he need to do that? What is he hiding? Weird. He'll take your money, send incompetent subs in, not finish, leave a mess. Don't hire him because he doesn't care about the customer.

Spencer & Brandon came out to troubleshoot a short that left no evidence other than a tripped…read morebreaker--no smoke, no sparks, no hum. I was $200 in the hole from another electrician who checked all the wiring in the attic to no avail. Spencer found the offending circuit under the house in about 2 hours and came up with a creative solution for abandoning the in-wall fault without needing to install a complete new run to the main panel. Well done! Spencer loves challenges and I recommend him highly.

Builder made us use them for our lighting and fans. LIghts were okay but the fans never worked…read moreright. The fans were a problem from the beginning-wrong fan blades arrived, ticking sounds, wobbling. They don't stand up to their products. Broken fan and they told me I had to pay an electrician. I am done working with them. They are overpriced and don't provide any help with their overpriced products. I suggest looking around if you have that option.

Expert advice on sizes of fixtures appropriate for the space axed my tendency to choose fixtures too small thinking a small house needed small. Of course lighting stores have always been a panic attack trigger because of the endless choices hanging above overwhelming my thoughts. But, this sales lady knew my builder's budget and quizzed me on my taste and guided me toward a delightful plan. The lights are up and are getting rave reviews from construction workers, nosy neighbors, normally critical relatives and my dear practical husband who has a dormant aesthetic gene. I was given pictures in color of all fixtures and this was invaluable on installation day and as a reference for other decor choices. The great news is I was spot on my budget except for adding some light kits for bedroom fans which are not normally done with the modern use of abundant cans in home lighting. The bottom-line is Pine Grove is a cut above any lighting store I have encountered where you are respected as a client regardless of the size of you house or lighting budget.
