The eggplant salad, least liked of our dishes by our group, remained mostly intact as served. Deciding on each dish's rank above average, memorable taste, etc.depends on each diner's predilections. I ordered a mixed platter from here via door dash after seeing their reviews and looking at some pictures on yelp. The food portion was very generous.. although way more meat than rice. It was shared between two people and had plenty of meat leftover. The meats were flavorful and not dry.. although not that juicy either. I was disappointed that my order did not come with any bread as I love to eat bread with the kebabs and it should be complementary based on other yelpers. Rated only for their Ramadan Buffet for $35 which is a fair price based on the other restaurants in the area that charge as low as $25 and as high as $60 plus tax & 18% service charge for the daily evening Ramadan Buffet. You need to make a reservation on the day that you are planning to visit, we had a reservation for three people on Wednesday 4/12/23 . Here is the bad part of our experience, we were given a small table that is really only large enough for two people in the outdoor area where the buffet is, also we learned later on that customers were allowed to smoke there, so while we were eating we started to smell cigarette smoke, really bad, disgusting. We asked to be moved and at this time some other tables were available so we moved to the first room where they have air conditioning and non smoking. Here is the good part of our experience, the buffet spread was nice, nothing fancy, just a lot of choices about 8 to 10 salads/appetizers, there was a soup and about a dozen or so main entrees from chicken, beef, lamb, fish and more. 4 different types of cakes/pastry's for dessert and different pieces of fruit, they also offered cold drinks of bottles of water and 3 types of juice's, hot drinks were tea and coffee. So the selection was really wonderful, some traditional items like Hummus, falafel, pita bread, grilled meats, too many things to mention and the food was GOOD, the taste of things was GOOD. I got up multiple times to get seconds of different items. If you pay cash they give you a little discount and they give you 4 pieces of Baklava as a gift to go. Now I know where to go back each year for a Ramadan buffet. Abu Rass is my go to place as long as they keep up the same quality and stay reasonably priced in the future. read more

Love coming here for great Mediterranean food and vibes! We sat outdoor heated seating area. Service was great; they always made sure we were comfortable and good with food. The place is also clean and welcoming with its decor and music. We ordered the mixed appetizers. Pita was soft. All appetizer dishes were flavored and tasted well. The food here is so incredibly fresh and made to order. I was quite thirsty when I got there so we immediately ordered this Lemon Mint drink which not only was quite refreshing but my taste buds were doing a happy dance because it tasted so good! Almost like a slushie mojito if I had to describe it. So ridiculously good! For started, we got the Hummus and Babaghanouj. Both were executed perfectly with a ton of flavor and I could not get enough of the Babghanouj! It had a bit of smokey flavor that I just couldn't resist! The food was very fresh and we pretty much enjoyed the items we ordered. I liked the chicken dish - picture is posted -however I don't know the name of the dish. It was prepared in a type of tomato sauce with potatoes.- almost like a stew. We also tried the rice which was plentiful and prepared perfectly. The cucumber yogurt salad was refreshing and prepared with fresh mint- have to say it was my favorite item. Portions were large enough to share. Honestly my mom and I were looking for a place to have dinner. So we saw this restaurant and decided to go in, OMG!!!! What a happy surprise, the servers are polite, clean, clean cut and knowledgeable. I was asking about the menu and the server knew all, the place had an inside and a back out door seating, mind it was cold BUT they had heaters and it was enclosed, so we didn't even feel a thing. The appetizers were fantastic not huge which I'm Thankful for the food was so fresh so well seasoned so beautifully cooked. The presentation was even better your eyes your palate. First time visiting here, amazing is an understatement. From the moment we walked in, it was nothing but impeccable service. My husband, my son (3 years old) and I were catered to throughout our 2 hours there. Our waiter, Shahin, God bless him, he was around the entire time. We didn't have to wave him down at all. He was incredibly sweet to my son. He gave him a lollipop, he tried to figure out which dessert he would like to extend our stay because he saw that my husband and I wanted to enjoy our hookah and food longer. Staff was very disrespectful since the time we walked in. The food honestly is always good food and tasty since we have been a regular customer to this restaurant. I was personally was insulted with a server's name 'SAM' without any social distancing with a ready to fight position in front of 11 members of my family including my wife and kids. There was a full 100% occupancy in the restaurant after we kept waiting 30 mins during the corona period I would rather have a more organized respected social distancing with a proper face masking policy's than waiting all that time and get insulted. I am Very disappointed with their service and I was embraced in front of 30 ppl (guests) I ordered almost $400 food and a couple of things were missing and they wanted me to drive for another 25 mins just to get the missing food. Most importantly, wallahi, there was a marker refill thing in the food as shown in the attached photos and I'm sure we all ate black ink with the chicken and had to throw the food in the garage. It felt like I was eating on someone's driveway. Oh wait, we were! But, at least it's covered with a tent and not just an umbrella. We shared a mixed grill platter. It had some much of kebabs, grilled beef, and chicken. There was plenty of rice and grilled veggies. The wait staff was very nice and helpful. Not all of them fully understood English but its Ok. I didn't care so much of the pita bread and olive they bring out as starters. They did hooked us up with free hot tea. Maybe because they turned us down from our beers. Went to Abu Rass with my good friend, Edgar V. It's a pretty decent hookah bar with very cheap food. We were seated outside, the setup keeps people smoking hookah away from people not smoking hookah. I got the shawarma sandwich and some hummus. The hummus was a little more lemony than I was used to, but not bad. And a shawarma sandwich with fries for $5 is a great deal. I ordered a watermelon mint hookah, which came in a grapefruit bowl. It smoked pretty well and they changed my coals regularly. The prices aren't bad, but they do charge an automatic gratuity. But it's only 15% unlike many of the other hookah bars in the area. I can definitely see myself returning. read more

I drove way out of my way because it had four stars. Ordered a beef Shawarma, falafel and a baba ghanouj. The falafel took about seven minutes and the Shawarma took about another 15 minutes. About three minutes from when he realized the people in the kitchen and forgotten to make it. So they rushed the Shawarma and it was cold and undercooked. Now the falafel was cold and soggy because they've been sitting on the counter for 20 minutes maybe more. I could tell this food would be really really good if it wasn't cold and undercooked. It didn't help this review that the guy behind the counter was acting like a pissed off teenager and wasn't wearing a mask. So... cold Under cooked Shawarma, cold soggy falafel, indignant counter staff with no mascon. It doesn't get much better than that does it? read more
