Great little Latin grocery store in Pinellas Park! The parking lot is big, the store is very clean. They have a meat section, vegetable section just like a typical grocery store. There's also a deli in here, the Cuban sandwich is only $4 and it's delicious! They also have many different types of plantain chips (my fav), I was overwhelmed with so many options!

Food is a hit or miss there. But it's a good value. Groceries are okay. Some of the items are a little old.

I had never seen so many different flavored and colored rice papers and it was very cool. So many different types of noodles my goodness. They also have ready made foods and snacks. The spicy beef noodle soup with all the trimmings looked really good and it was only $9! I was kinda shocked at the inventory of meat cleavers of so many different sizes. They also carry cookware, bowls, plates, utensils and even a fireless cupping therapy kit. Hubby got a kick out of the long cooking chopsticks. This store definitely provided a new learning experience for exploring Vietnamese food and culture. Not the newest cleanest Asian grocery store but has a good selection and is well stocked.

I had no idea what gift would be appropriate to bring. A very nice lady behind the counter asked if she could help me. I told her my situation. She went directly to the boxes of fresh fruit. She said any would work, but rambutan is a specialty. So I bought a flat. I was very appreciative of her help. The store was very clean, friendly with lots of shoppers. The rambutan was a huge success! There was lots of foods to choose from. Private parking too. I will go back to Dong A2.

I'm glad that they're here because it gives me the opportunity to pick up some authentic dishes while I'm in town. I've tried various items each time I've come here. A previous time, I tried their papaya salad on medium spice, but I can't eat too spicy so that spice level was a little too high for me. This time I got the non spicy papaya salad lol. Their papaya salad is pretty good. It's made pretty authentic. You can also find sticky rice in the cooler so it's always good to pick up to go if you wanna have some sticky rice. There's also various desserts and appetizers. Plenty to choose from. This time, I got their beef jerky and fried pork belly. It was good. The pork belly had a nice crunch to it and also had a nice flavor. The jerkies also had a nice flavor. Precious times I've gotten their chittlins and it wasn't bad either. I'm not big on chittlins, but my other half is and he loved theirs. They're opened pretty early and we always come about 30 mins to an hour after they open. They have always had the cooked foods in the back that early.

I arrived around 2:20 p.m. and was let in by a worker at the front door, who told me they were closing shortly and suggested I head to the deli first if that was what I wanted. Once I walked in, however, a cashier yelled to me that they were closed. I was a little confused because I had just been let in by a worker who knew I was coming inside. From there, the experience felt a bit chaotic. There were quite a few people in the store, and I felt like the workers were very displeased by my presence. I honestly felt like I was a bother. I completely understand that I arrived close to closing, so I tried to be respectful of their time and rushed through the store to grab a few items. I had driven an hour to get there, so I wanted to at least make the most of the trip. When I went to check out, I initially got in one line, and the cashier was finishing up with the customer already there and directed me to another line, so I followed her instructions. I had a basket with my items and wasn't sure if I was supposed to empty it myself. There wasn't an obvious place to leave the empty basket, and the cashier never indicated that she would take it from me. I apologized and explained that it was my first time there. She told me that next time I should come during the week so I could browse more. As I was leaving, I noticed so many people trying to enter the store and being turned away because it was now past closing. That made me think Mazzaro's may want to reconsider its Saturday hours. They are clearly a very popular and well-known store, yet being open from only 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays and being closed on Sundays makes it difficult for people who work typical Monday-Friday, full-time hours to visit. I take responsibility for not checking the hours before making the drive, and I understand that the employees were probably ready to go home. However, I still think there is a difference between enforcing closing time and making a customer feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, I did not feel warmly greeted or welcomed during my visit, and it put a damper on the entire experience.
