I like the market. They have the similar limoncello from Amalfi Coast. We have limoncello product while we visited the Amalfi Coast. Their product is bake to similar taste to what we have in Italy. We got the Limoncello Rhum Babas. This is a cake bub soak in lemon sweet juice. Very refreshing. Highly recommended. We also got the clam chowder from the cooler. They are tasty after heated up. The ingredients is good have clam meat and bacon. Soup is really good. They do carry many other soup. We will try them on next visit. The grocery store also carry some Italian wine. This medium-sized Italian market in Pinellas Park has all the essentials: a nice selection of cheeses, pastas, seasoning, cans food and wines. There's also a deli section with cold cut and hot food sold by the pound, plus a refrigerated section with soups, lasagna, and other prepared meals you can just take home and reheat. They also have a coffee shop and a bakery with a wide variety of cookies and cakes. Various sandwiches are available. We tried the fried chicken cutlet, which was delicious, and the clam chowder was also very good. Our absolute favorite is the limoncello babas, a soft cake shaped like a king mushroom soaked in sweet limoncello that tastes as good as what we had in Italy. We haven't found anything like it anywhere else in the Tampa Bay area, and we're so glad we found this place. The staff are friendly and helpful, the business hours are convenient, and the store has a steady flow of customers without ever feeling crowded, so shopping is relaxed and stress-free. Prices run a bit higher, but the quality makes up for it. We stop by every time we're in the area and will keep coming. read more

Love Decosmo. It's an Italian market & eatery with a deli counter, hot food, subs, and a coffee bar in the back. Desserts as well! While they're making your food you can shop around all of the frozen, refrigerated or dry goods. I love their almonds and wine selection. Congrats to Decosmo on their 3 year anniversary this past weekend. We went when they first opened and came back today. They are doing great and have a nice selection of Italian groceries. They also have take home food items, a deli with sandwiches, snacks, and entrees. They have some noodles and sauces and lots of Italian goodies. They also have bread and desserts and seating and coffee. Great place great people be soo much less hectic than Mazzaros. Def breath of fresh air. read more

As a frequent Mazzaro's customer , I have been wanting to try this place.... So glad we did. We had the Decosmo Italian sub , was absolutely great and huge. We actually got a whole , split in half and then split the half. We also got pesto tortellini salad and truffle risotto. Was a lot of food, way too much but we wanted to try different things. Service was fast and efficient, less chaos vs Mazzaro's . I like both places and will frequent both from now on. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The cafe where you eat in was quaint and nice... again, less chaotic vs Mazzaro's . I know I've mentioned Mazzarro's several times ... let's face it they are different but similar. If you like one , you will like the other in my opinion. I went with my craving and got the eggplant parm. So glad I did. Some is the best I've ever had. I will be wanting this again. My son got the sausage, onion and pepper sandwich and the limoncello cake for dessert. I got to taste of his sandwich and wow! The limoncello cake was next level. He said he could not remember a cake he liked more. Even more so, the friendly staff and service will bring us back. Monica, thanks for your attentiveness and patience I. answering our questions and telling us how to navigate this amazing store. Saw this place on Charlie's world a while back and have been in to grab some wine but not for lunch. Made are way over! We were here for a sandwich so we got that ordered first. I got #9 La Famiglia. Ultimate Italian - ham, salami, capicola, mortadella, provolone, tomato, onion, lettuce, pepperoncini, house dressing. Delicious. Bread was so fresh and all the ingredients tasted great. Really good and a great deal with half sandwich and soup. The broccoli cheese soup was so good. Not cream heavy. Just fresh veggies. Deb got the #16 Italian Cheesesteak. Tender beef, provolone cheese, sautéed peppers, onions, and mushrooms on Italian bread. So good! The flavors of the beef were really good. Deb got the pasta fagioli soup. Deep flavors. We grabbed a bottle of wine and had them open it in the cafe then grabbed a table to have our lunch. Such a cool vibe! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We were planning on a pizza for dinner so we grabbed one of their ready made pepperoni and sausage to take home. It heated up perfectly and was so good! Their dough was amazing. We got help from Vincent on a wine to go with it. He recommend their Chianti which was very reasonable and went really good with the pie. Great guy! Gave a 5 star as Decosmo is worth returning to and worthy to be excited to share with my dad. Philly cheesesteak was my favorite meal. Tiramisu also a good buy. I periodically visit Decosmo's and almost exclusively eat in. I have yet to try any of the to go meals but I am tempted every single time. I'm trying to work my way through their sandwich/deli menu but it's pretty big and I can't remember what I've gotten half the time. I will say that I have had a great experience each time. I've had hot sandwiches, like the one with sausage and peppers, and cold ones, like the famiglia, and I have yet to be let down. They don't skimp and leave you eating mostly bread (which is also exceptionally good here). I really love the cafe space here. You put your order in at the bar and find a place to sit after collecting your drink. They usually have some music playing on the speakers so it's not dead quiet. There are always a few tables occupied but this place is quieter/calmer and I don't have a mini meltdown like their local competitor. Also no hassle with parking and long lines! There's a retail area that has frozen meals/soups/pizzas, cheeses, canned goods, a little pastry case, and bottled drinks. It's a great little one stop shop for an easy Italian meal out or at home. I still can't find guanciale in Tampa, but now I have a (better) option for buying it than Mazzaro's! Decosmo has two kinds of guanciale in their deli section, and they will slice it to your preferred thickness. Wonderful! I brought my son, and he was enchanted by Decosmo's cheese section. He was so excited to see the burrata and fresh mozzarella there as well as a bunch of international cheeses. We grabbed some burrata and an aged goat Gouda to bring to his grandmother's house for a wonderful afternoon treat. They have a bunch of very nice Italian groceries. They aren't cheap, but the quality appears to be very good, and they have things you can't find at most markets. And they are less of a zoo than Mazzaro's. They also have a caffe and a full-service delicatessen and a refrigerated section with premade Italian meals. My son and I look forward to returning to try out some of their foods. read more

The have a cafe at one end for coffee and gelato with the bakery case close by. I went to the bakery case and immediately a fellow customer started chatting with me & the lady behind was explaining the different deserts and got me the rainbow cakes I came for. Afterwards I walked to the deli and got an Italian sandwich and was met with more greetings and checking on if I needed anything. Decosmos is a great spot, we order from them often at work. I'm a big sandwich lover, and the Reuben is my favorite. The Italian bread on some of the other sandwiches is a bit too tough and overpowering for me, since it feels like more bread than filling in each bite. I do wish they offered more bread options (they might, but I never place the order since it's usually catered). Overall, we've had a great relationship with this business, and from what I've heard, they're super nice and always do a great job! read more

I had the chicken florentine it was just about inedible. One odd flavor stood out not sure if it was the big huge chunks of garlic. The the whole dish tasted odd with that weird flavor the only taste and it was unpleasant. I have no idea how you can ruin a dish like that that's full of fat and cream and cheese. I was so hungry and it was such a disappointment. I like the atmosphere there better than mazzaro's but it did not make up for the money I wasted on that horrible food. read more

The pasta carbonara was rich and flavorful for something with only a few ingredients. The portions for the half sub and pasta were huge. The sub had plenty of meatballs and the pasta you can see for yourself. It was delicious and I highly recommend coming here. They also have a soup menu. While we patiently waited for orders we strolled to the ailes and shopped for some sweets. As soon as we found that our order was ready, I was amazed it was pretty quick.
