This was a particularly wonderful experience with Abundance Farm who open their doors to community events needing space to set up tents or workshops with a small to medium size gathering of people. Enough space to be COVID-friendly in spacing etc. Friendly staff and animals. The kitchen is full size industrial but be warned NO microwave. Its ol'school warm in the oven or on the stove- which is perhaps as it should be. The summer months allow for a lot of possible outdoor locations to gather like a spacious barn where the fourth wall fully opens, picnic table area with canopy coverage, the orchard area (watch out for overripe fruit if barefoot). Apparently folks that are all weather swimmers could go down the road for a refreshing dip. The main area of concern is that this is not an accessible space. You will need to either stay at ground level or be able to climb 12-15 stairs. there are also a few raised lips on ground level things like the communal bathroom but it could be navigated with a walker/wheelchair/possibly a scooter if transfers are possible. read more
