Maan farm offers a lot to see and do: a tulip forest, photo ops, a kid's play zone, animals, and wine tasting. When we arrived we wanted to do wine tasting. We got to try 4 different wines for $10 and were also given the option of a free tasting with the purchase of a wine. The employee, Alejandro was very helpful in answering all of our questions. He even explained that all fruit is grown on site. After wine tasting, we visited the animals. The animals were well cared for and in clean encounters. Finally, we visited the tulip forest which offered photo ops, tulips, and a peaceful environment. I couldn't recommend Maan Farm more!

We were there at 10 am and there was barely anyone there. This was great as I was able to take lots of pictures and pet animals. Since we came during BAE days, there were 5 kinds of baby animals for viewing: pigs, goats, sheeps, highland cows and rabbits. My favorite was the baby goats. They were 1.5-2M old and they were adorable running around. Beware that they will chew on your shoelaces or jackets. We got a few kind of food. The lemonade was mediocre and butter chicken Mac and cheese was a rip off at $15. There were 3-4 tiny pieces of chicken and the rest was just macaroni. The butter chicken taste was also very light. The samosas were yummy but they're somewhat spicy. My personal favorite was the carrot cake. You can actually see lots of pieces of carrots in it. It was $7 something a piece. The icing was a bit sweet, however. The entire farm was to be enjoyed by both adults and kids. My toddler really liked the bubble zone. She basically got to wave the twin wands around and out came big bubbles. We bought the membership which was $10 off if purchased prior to 4/12. We'll be back for summer and their pumpkin patch.

At the entrance of the farm are maps of the location of the different apple trees they have, which apples are ready to pick that day, and bags for apple picking. Wagons to hold apples/children are available a short distance from the entrance. On the farm there are goats and chickens to entertain the children. Apples are $1.25/lb for U-pick. The store also sells apple cider slush for $3.25/cup. It is refreshing to drink on a hot day. There is ample parking in front of the farm.

The "Taste of the Market" event is always organized before the Christmas season each year. I always enjoy the vendors' products, such as cheese, cooked foods, chocolate, olive oil, cured meats, desserts, and more. This event is really fun! Each product is unique and delicious, and we get to try small bites from every vendor. This year, all the vendors' foods were excellent. I especially enjoyed Mt. Lehman Cheese's aged cheddar, Those Pretzels, Lepp Market's turkey cranberry sausage, Grass Roots' smoked cheese, Madame Loïk's whipped cheese, Callister Craft Soda, Centennial's cookie dough spread, Fraser Valley hazelnuts, Charlie Ivy's olive oil, and a cranberry spread served on top of nachos (unfortunately, I forgot the vendor's name). They do not shy away from selling skinny carrots or mishapen vegetables, and I appreciate that. They also offer produce at low prices and it makes it accessible for any house hold to purchase fresh produce. SKT is a local and always friendly business that I am a big supporter of. I've been going to SKT since I was a child and will continue to support them and like businesses.

But not to worry, the fields are a 1km walk away! It's a sea of flowers, and while the fields aren't nearly as grand as Roozengarde down south in Mount Vernon, WA, the variety is huge and the photo ops are many on the periphery of the field. My cousin and I went on a drizzly weekday, so there were maybe like 10-15 other people enjoying the fields. It was a really nice time! Pre made bouquets are sold out front, and they're decently priced.
