Superb business. Cesar came out to diagnose the problem on a Friday evening and even moved bricks that were placed near our condenser from the previous owners of the house since it has been affecting our system. Cesar was able to work with our schedule and start installation of a new system the following Saturday. The installation team was efficient and professional. Our A/C went out yesterday, When I called A/C Doctors they sent sent someone out rather quickly. Cesar came to our rescue and diagnosed our problem within a matter of minutes. I was very impressed on the way he took the extra time and steps to find the root of the problem (Which he did find) Also he took the time to explain how our system works and the importance of routine system maintenance. Luis was great! He helped get us the best possible a/c in just hours notice and was really genuine in getting us the best offers. We called for a repair and he found the issue in literal minutes, due to the state our a/c was in he offered to install the new one all himself with the help from from his co worker, I don't remember his name but I know it started with a J. they knocked it out in about 4 hours with excellent quality and organization. I have been a customer of AC Doctors since July 2016. At that time, the heat pump condenser in my smaller upstairs unit was not working properly. I called AC Doctors and they responded. When they arrived, they were very quick to tell me that they could not repair the unit and that I needed a totally new unit. The unit could not be repaired, only replaced. I had AC Doctors replace the unit and they came out several times in following years for routine maintenance. Recently, in June 2023, I found water leaking from the main unit air handler. Again, I called AC Doctors and they came out to take a look at the problem. They opened the air handler and said there was a cracked drain pan. They also stated that they saw a rusty evaporator coil and that I should replace the entire air handler unit. The repair technicians contacted their supervisor and their supervisor told them that AC Doctors would not repair the cracked drain pan. Once again, AC Doctors said that they would not repair the unit and that I needed a totally new unit. Once again, AC Doctors said the unit could not be repaired, only replaced. So, this time, I contacted my neighbor, a licensed mechanical contractor, and he repaired the entire air handler unit, without a replacement. Now, there is no water leak whatsoever. This experience with AC Doctors tells me that when a customer pays AC Doctors for a service call to repair a component or solve a problem, AC Doctors takes the easy way out and recommends a total replacement. So, paying for a service call to repair only gets you an estimate for replacement. Perhaps AC Doctors does not have the expertise to repair, only to install. Buyer Beware: AC Doctors will not be interested in repairing your unit/component or solving your problem. AC Doctors is only interested in up-selling their customers into buying replacement equipment. read more

Was quoted a $89 service fee. Assumed because this is how other companies I have worked with do it, that if you end up needing repairs they will waive the service fee. This company does not do that are charges the service fee no matter what. I was not told this when I was given the total estimate for the job. So almost $100 added to my bill automatically. Will not rehire them just due to this aspect alone. I did not receive a detailed invoice. Just what was wrong and then a total fee which ended up being $649. After asking another company what they would charge for the same repairs and looking up what the costs myself it looks like I ended up paying around $500 for labor....for a job that took 20 minutes. I feel completely taken advantage of. Very disappointed and will not rehire ever again. read more

I just had my AC units serviced by A/C Doctors. I was given a two hour window as to when to expect my service to be preformed. The day of my service, the office called me to let me know that the service man would be here at 10:00 a.m. He was right on time! The service man that came to my home (Robert L) was courteous and knowledgable about my ac units. He cleaned and inspected both the outside units and the units inside of my home. He pointed out a couple of minor issues and gave me a quote to add another vent in a large room that can't seem to keep cool.
