I am writing to formally document and express my serious concern regarding an interaction I had this morning with AC Electric owner, Asmint Cruz. Prior to today, my impression of AC Electric had been positive. Since 2021, we have spent approximately $30,000 with AC Electric on work performed at our home. During that time, I previously interacted with Todd Fowler and found him to be professional, respectful, and courteous. Unfortunately, my experience this morning with company ownership was the complete opposite. During our interaction, I was shocked by the level of hostility, disrespect, and unprofessional behavior directed toward me. While I fully understand that stressful situations arise in business, there is simply no excuse for speaking to or treating a long-term customer in the manner I experienced today. The conduct displayed reflected extremely poorly on the company and its leadership. Because the interaction was so inappropriate and unexpected, I documented portions of the situation with photographs and detailed notes immediately afterward. Attached are photographs from the original 2021 installation showing the basement walls at that time with no visible leaking issues present. I am also attaching current photographs from this year showing the condition now. In addition, I have attached exterior photographs from the original 2021 work that clearly show disturbed ground, what appears to be a newly installed pipe, and a shovel present at the work area during the installation period. This is particularly concerning given the statement made to me today that "they did not dig" during the prior work. Based on the visible condition of the ground and surrounding area shown in the 2021 photographs, that statement does not appear consistent with what is documented. I believe businesses are ultimately judged by how leadership conducts itself and how people are treated during ordinary interactions. After having 2 other electricians(?) try and fix a problem with outside flood lights and neither correcting the issue, but charging me anyway, I called AC. The diagnostic charge was explained to me and I set up an appointment. The man got here on time and was polite, knowledgeable, thorough, and checked things I didn't know COULD be checked! When he left the problem was fixed---of course --we had a storm that night and it proved us wrong. Back again and this time he must have gotten things sealed because after 6 weeks, and many storms, the problem is corrected. I will go with AC for my electric needs from now on! read more

AC Electric Company is simply the best! I highly recommend their company for anyone concerned about electrical in their home or business. Their field tech came out and thoroughly diagnosed the problem. He repaired the box and rerouted the wiring which thankfully restored my electric in three rooms. read more

They charge for $59 for an estimate while other contractors do this for free. Besides they give you ridiculously high quotes for mediocre list of items in the job. read more

What bothered me about this company is that after the first guy from AC Electric came out to our home and couldn't determine the problem he called another technician to come look at our problem. That technician wanted $195 just to look at the wiring problem in our home. All other companies on Angie's List asked for $50 or $60. Mr Cruz has yet to give me an invoice or receipt for the work performed over 2 months ago after he charged our credit card without authorization on an agreed price after it was changed without notification. Mr Cruz then became childish and negatively reviewed my company across social media whom he's never done any business with before. Nevertheless in this day and age it's important to have honest contractors whom provide a paper trail, invoices and receipt promptly upon payment. Mr Cruz when confronted about the change in pricing became hostile after we asked him why he didn't call us and tell us the job would be nearly 300 dollars more. Honesty is the best policy Mr Cruz please do the right thing and we will delete our reviews. read more

I had called another area electrician because the electrical in my garage had gone out. another company told us it would be time consuming and expensive to fix. We called AC Electric. William from AC arrived timely and within 1 hour had the issue fixed. We also had him fix a light fixture in the house we were having issues with. All for about $150. He was knowledgable and professional. I would highly recommend AC Electric. read more
