The video would go out periodically, but the audio was still there. The picture would return if I knocked on the front of the unit, but it was happening more often. There's a $30 diagnostic fee up front, which I understand. Said he would call me this afternoon. They called around 4:00 PM the same day to tell me it was fixed. I guess I had expected an estimate, but I also knew it was probably a minor repair. The total was $63, minus the $30 diagnostic fee. The TV works just like new! I had been afraid I might have to buy a new TV, but they fixed mine in a matter of hours. I might have been frustrated if the repair price had been higher without my authorization, but in my case, I was pleased with the outcome. A new TV would probably be at LEAST three times that price, and mine fits on our bookshelf perfectly, and the new ones are shaped differently. I've had other TV's repaired here in the past, so this is usually my first stop before I buy a new TV. He also sells used/refurbished TV's, DVD players, stereos, etc...

I called and Philip and I talked a bit to suss out what might be the issue. Philip sent someone (Sean) over to check it out to see if it could be repaired on site. (It could not). So they took it back to the shop and had it diagnosed, repaired and returned within a week. My baby is back on the wall and 100%!! I would not put this TV into just anyone's hands - and Philip's rep proceeded him - and for good reason. I could not be happier with the professionalism and work he (and his crew) did. Not only that- the price was so reasonable, I thought maybe they missed something! I cannot speak highly enough. I am glad that Philip and MVP are now in my rolodex. Do not: Be confrontational: This is something as little as the words you use, the tone and the pace in which you say it. Cutting your customer off as he talks through things (It's been a long day. I've been at this since 830am and was ready to buy a phone. There's a way to tactfully correct your customer. When I said Samsung store, i meant to say they said they had a Samsung Diagnostic Computer which analyzes the contents. Yes, they are an insurance company. But they told me what was up, didnt pitch anything new and apologized. Maybe they were lying. But in the end they handled the situation w tact Indirectly call your customer a liar: You asked me if the phone got wet, anything spilled on it, do I let my kids play with it? Not to my knowledge and no my kid doesnt play w it. And then I was gonna say but who is 100% when it comes to spill or splash? But I didnt even get that far. You cut me off saying, "Hey man. Im just asking you some open ended questions (Nice, all good sales books recommend those) but then you said you said your kids dont play w it, I think they do... Bro, just keep that last part to yourself. I walked at that point because my phone is my livelihood. I dont know of anything spilling on it. Another reason my kids dont use my phone is because they have a PS5, PS4, Switch, DS, Fire Tablet, Samsung Tablet, Nintendo DS and other laptops of the like. When I said no, I meant it. I thought that was really nice, since most places would've been sorry for your luck. We waited about 15 minutes for him to come back. One of the other employees offered my friend a chair since they only had one and she had a hard time getting off of that one. It's very open as in a bit empty inside but they sell phones, cases, screen repair and other things you would find in convenience type stores. The two gentlemen we dealt with were really friendly. Her phone screen replacement was $90 for an iPhone 13. At least we know of a place close to home to get the screens fixed for a decent price.
