needed to find a new chiro office as my previous dr retired i found AC Pain via my health plan and of course, with the help of yelp! it was easy to make an appt easy to find the location and the office front desk, April was super sweet i met with dr.kim, he seems like all business, no chit chat, which is cool bc that is what i am paying for anyways, read my in take forms, asked q's and he adjusted me, and wow i have never cracked that much in my life! he wanted to schedule me 3x a week, uhm with my plan, that would have taken all my visits...so April was kind enough to explain that i could spread them out, that it was just the dr's recommendation! they also do acupuncture there, would i would need a referral, possibly in the future and i will update then tons of parking also, they are closed thursdays! read more

I saw Dr.Kim for the first time yesterday and will not be returning. He was very rough with me, I told him several times that what he was doing hurt and he kept going. He even asked me "does this hurt?" when providing a treatment and when I said yes through gritted teeth he didn't stop. Besides that, I told him that I don't get adjusted the way the he was going to try for my hips to which he replied "it doesn't matter" and did it anyways. He really hurt me in doing so and after my treatment I told him my feet were numb and he said "most people are sore after." ???? I had to call out of work and I'm walking around with a limp- I've been to many chiropractors in my life but never had an experience like this. My back feels substantially worse than when I went in and I'm basically bed ridden for the next two days until I can get in with my regular chiropractor. read more

I have been suffering from a severe condition called Costochondritis for years, which is inflammation of the cartilage that connects a rib to the breastbone. I was constantly in so much pain daily. I was diagnosed with cervical radiculopathy which involves degenerative changes and stenosis in my cervical. I have excruciating pain episode sometimes that last for a couple of weeks from my right shoulder blade region to the arm, all the way to my pinky finger. When it's so bad, I cannot function normally like being vertical, as simple as sitting up or standing up or my arm hurts so badly that I even get a thought of wanting to chop off my entire right arm. The pain medication doesn't work at the peak of the pain and my stomach gets sick too from it. When I had my last episode, I was so desperate to get to her office with so much pain. After I had Dr. Ding's acupuncture session, the next morning when I woke up, the pain was GONE! It was AMAZING! How does she do that?!! Dr. Ding is an expert and knows what she is doing and she does it very well for me. She is essential to my pain management with my chronical problem. I recommend to anybody with pain problems. I saw Dr. Ding for acupuncture for a chronic back issue that has been causing severe hip/thigh pain. I've had multiple rounds of steroid injections but was looking for a less invasive method for relief. This was my first time trying acupuncture and Dr. Ding was incredible. She set me at ease about the process and created a treatment plan for me. After the second session I noticed significant improvement and after my 5th session I was pain free. Amazing! Came in at the end of March on one leg limping and barely able to walk without severe pain, from overuse injuries. Dr. Ding took care of me and after 2 sessions and I was walking normally again, 2 more sessions after that I was rehabbing with stretching / prescribed exercises. Dr Ding and Dr Kim are patient, knowledgeable and offer useful solutions to my back and shoulder pain. I have lower lumbar joint problems and had a rotator cuff problem. When therapy was useful for pain but not healing Dr Ding recommended getting an MRI which resulted in a needed rotator cuff surgery. Post op they helped with recovery. I now have full range of motion in my shoulder. Dr Ding also gave me supplements that helped with menopause hot flashes. The flashes calmed down and now I don't have any. I also just had an MRI on my back and what Dr Kim thought was wrong, he was right. Now we can continue treatment until I am out of pain once again. Thank you Dr Ding and Dr Kim. Aside from the treatments, the office is very clean, April at the front is hardworking and easy to schedule appointments. I wish there was a text reminder service because I often forget or don't set a reminder on my calendar but that's a me problem. They always reschedule me without complaint if I miss. The older I get and in being an cube dweller (sitting often in front of the pc), the more I need a back adjustment. Rather than greasy massages, they employ a more sanitary method of a clean towel and acupressure massage that focuses on specific pressure points. Go to Shuji for a gentler touch or for a sports massage enthusiasm, ask for Kaoru. We've referred so many friends to this clinic to treat everything from migraine headaches to old back injuries. My wife, who is breastfeeding our newborn baby, went to see her doctor over fever and body aches. The doctor diagnosed her with mastitis (infection from a blocked breast duct) put her on 10 days worth of antibiotics, $100 prescription nipple cream, and said if the redness does not go away within 48 hours, she'll need surgery. WOW! I can walk again. WOW! I can run again. Dr. Ding is performing a "SECOND miracle" and THIS time its ON my left knee. Yes, I am a REPEAT CUSTOMER. About 2 to 3 years ago, I severely injured my right knee lateral meniscus on a outdoor family activity - badminton. Competition was fierce and it was great exercise and tons of fun. Then, I heard this POP in my right knee cap. I screamed in excruciating pain; it was unbearable. It almost brought me to tears. I could not walk; I could not stand straight. The pain humbled me and my physical activities stopped. My life was miserable at home and at work. My wife begged me to see my physician. My colleagues at work begged me to go to Emergency. All I heard from everyone was I need to see an orthopedic doctor who most likely would perform surgery on my knee. Heck no! Thanks to Dr. Ding I am able to live with the symptoms of my herniated disc and more importantly, I was able to be there for my dad who was dying from cancer. My pain began with discomfort and gradual numbness on my left side - through my neck down to parts of my hand and fingertips. Without knowing initially what was causing this discomfort (that later became an excruciating pain), I had to "bear with it" for over a year as I tried to help care for my bed-ridden dad. He was placed under hospice care when the tingling in my arm started. My sisters and I were his main caregivers and he, along with my mom who was diagnosed with dementia, were our priorities. As my dad got worse, caring for him became more of a challenge and this coincided with the worsening of my condition. Certain movements and positions caused a constant surge of extreme tingling - like when your leg "wakes up from sleep". The pain became a source of debilitating throbs that affected my ability to rest and get enough sleep, so I finally had to see a medical doctor. After a number of pain med trials, x-rays and scans, I was told that I had major herniation between discs in my neck and that I should consider surgery to correct it. This was not an option since downtime from surgery would prevent me from seeing and caring for my parents, so I sought out pain relief instead. The AC Pain Control Clinic was a true relief to my "pain in the neck" and throughout my left arm and hand. The throbbing is completely gone and has not recurred for months now. I had some chronic outbreak of hives for a while and was in and out doctor's office (from GP to allergist to ENT back to GP so on and so on) and none of them can pin point the cause of my hives. I went to Dr. Ding for a back pain and told her about my hives.
