Yes, I went to UK because that was one college that I had applied to that actually had a football program! But unlike UK, this high school actually chose a mascot that makes sense. I have yet to see a cat of the "wild" species. Apparently, the students had taken a vote on Broncos, which is fitting! So it goes to write that I found out that this school, which opened in 2017, had started enrolling and by the end of the season, their football team was ranked 25th in the state! Can you believe that?! It is the highest ranked public school football team in Lexington! So for that achievement, I have a team to follow (not as closely as college football mind you); however, it is still something. Also, I have to write that their website was easy to follow, when I had scrutinized the scheduling and the tour was amazing, very beautiful surroundings and lay out! Apparently, their first game is a scrimmage tomorrow and they actually play more local high schools than last year, one will get to see them actually test themselves as the best public school in Lexington! Who knew that a high school could throw a football team together and have the team go onto being one of the top ranked schools, in football, their first year? AMAZING! There are about half-a-dozen Montessori programs in Lexington but absolutely NONE like Providence. I almost didn't want to preview the school due to the cost, but I decided to do so in order to view it as a benchmark. Unfortunately, once I stepped on the grounds I absolutely fell in love with the campus (which is about 5 acres, or so). The quality of the program, teachers, and personal attention is worth every penny! Although there are a couple other "good" Montessori schools in town, there is a very big difference between the Providence and the rest of them. We realized it was a large financial commitment, but the interviews we had with the school director, one of the teachers, and past parents made us realize that this school offered something very special. Our daughter is definitely above average in her verbal and certain other skills, but in just one month at Providence her various skill developement was astonishing. We also just had our first Parent-Teacher conference which even amazed my husband (and he took some convincing to go to the investigative interviews). Our experiences so far have proven to us that for the little extra cost over what your average daycare/preschool charges, you can get something so extraordinary that the decision is a no-brainer. I think the best testimony to the school is my daughter; she LOVES going to school!!!! Not that she was ALWAYS kicking and screaming when we went to her previous school....but she has NOT ONCE said "I don't want to go to school today". Just after a week of going there she insisted that I sneak into her classroom with her after school so she can show me all the cool "toys" she has played with that day. She's so proud of her school! We are now very excited about our son starting their toddler program there next fall. And even more so, we are thrilled to have the first Montessori High School coming here next year!!!

The staff makes you feel so confident your child will be safe and learning how to safely swim! I wish I got my kid in here a year ago. A little pricey upfront but they run specials every month to keep your kid going in classes. The water is clean and warm and there is intense supervision over the water. This testing center has perfected Covid check-in procedures. Initially, I was very anxious about…read morehaving to come here because I haven't spent many hours outside of my home due to quarantine. Further, I was also stressed about taking the test. After watching the others check-in for the test from a socially distanced line, I was assured that every precaution would be followed. Upon checking in, I was asked to provide identification, sign an agreement, had my glasses examined, placed all of my personal affects in a locker, and given a locker key and pen. Although I brought a copy of my test confirmation that was not needed. Before entering the testing area, I was asked to empty my pockets, pull up my pants legs, and take an electronic photo. I signed another agreement and then entered the testing area in a room with other testers. Everyone was socially distanced and separated by desk carrels. The testing area was heavily monitored and each tester was provided with a noise cancelling headset and headphones. My only complaint was that the restroom was really outdated. One stall was inoperable and the only working stall had little to no room to maneuver.

The facility is quite and well laid out. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. I feel as if the students were eager to learn and attentive as were the professors. I will gladly go back to lecture again at any given time.
