We have…read moredone summer camps before and this was our first time at Pepperhill and I chose them because they offered swimming, fishing, horseback riding, archery, and games. They have a camp video on their website and it showed the children having an amazing time. That being said, I was disappointed. This camp is expensive and I did not feel I got my money's worth *pay attention to the NO REFUND policy*. My 9yr old was a "junior" and loved Pepperhill. They had activities and swimming scheduled every day. My 12yr old was a "grad" and they are granted more freedom to pick and choose what they want to do during the day because they are older; they also went on field trips. My 12yr old spent most of the day helping the younger campers or doing chores around the camp. As a parent, that didn't upset me because it teaches them responsibility. What did upset me was that I was paying MUCH MORE for my child to do what I felt the counselors should be doing. Now, the tuition for a "grad" is more because they go on field trips (movies, skating) and BIG trips (Holiday World in Indiana), but you are not eligible to attend the BIG trips unless you enroll in all three weeks of the session. Pay attention to this because when I enrolled I was very excited for my child to get a chance to do white water rafting, but because we had a family memorial and did not enroll in one of the weeks, they were not eligible for the BIG trip that session, even though we attended the other two weeks. I will not be sending my children back to this camp based on the fact they are way too expensive and and I did not feel I got my money's worth.

The school's colors are green and yellow. Very bright when you walk in. Looks like tons of athletic accomplishments. Very spacious and hold quite a few spectators. Each event was dance related and it's a huge difference being a spectator and a coach. As a spectator, the high school dances from a side view. As a middle school coach, it was way more crowd friendly since the dancers faced the crowd. For each event, there was enough room for everyone to enjoy the show!

The office staff is great, the principal is the best elementary principal I've ever seen. He knows every child. And is highly involved in all school functions. Doesn't pass it to an assistant. One of my children had been to several schools prior to stonewall during elementary years due to my husbands job. This was the only school he was ever happy at. Teachers are great and so much parent participation. Small town feel but at a bigger school with all the modern technology the kids need. You could not ask for a better school for your kids to start off at. You won't want them to leave!
