Had another awesome 1-hour Wellness Massage with "E" who is going to graduate soon. She's one of…read morethe best students I have ever had and I would say she's almost as good as some Rolfers and professional massage therapists I've had in the past!! She has a knack for pinpointing knots and tight areas and uses a scale from a 1-8 with 1 being the least achiness and 8 being the most achy. She communicates well and is very in tune with pressure points and if you need for her to back off when working on an area until it releases. It "hurts so good" so to speak and "no pain, no gain" is what I keep repeating to myself when she's working on an area until it releases. I'm breathing thru the pain, LOL!! I usually have her work on specific areas that are tight and this visit she asked if I it was okay to do some stretches as my left hip and quad were tight. That helped as well. I think "E" is well on her way to success and I told her she could work even at the Stretch Lab! I am impressed with the students that I've had here and their dedication to the craft. The quality and ambiance is as close to other Massage establishments I've been to but with very affordable pricing and frequent discounts usually during the holidays. I take advantage of their bundle promos. Parking can be a little hard to find close to the school as there are restaurants surrounding them. Leave enough time to find parking and for checking in. Bathrooms are very clean and tidy. There's also a hot/cold water dispenser near the lobby by the bathrooms so you can hydrate. The front desk gets busy in case you have to book an appointment over the phone ie using a gift card. You'll either have to try early in the morning or late in the day, otherwise you'll have to leave a voicemail. The chat option online is pretty basic and won't be able to solve any complex issues or gift-card bookings. It just default-answers you back to the website or phone number.

I do think he has the potential to become a great therapist with more training and experience. That said, I often felt like I had to help guide him through the appointment, which made it difficult to fully relax. The transitions between services felt awkward and rushed. Before my final service, I was asked to get completely dressed, even though my friend was able to come out in a bathrobe. I ended up sitting there cold and fully dressed while waiting, which made me feel like the schedule and student rotations were taking priority over the client experience. This appointment was a birthday celebration for me, and as a single mom, I don't get many opportunities to be pampered. I was really looking forward to feeling cared for and relaxed, but unfortunately, that wasn't how the experience felt. I understand this is a learning environment, and I truly wish him the best because he was kind and respectful. With additional training, smoother transitions, and a stronger focus on the client's comfort, I believe he'll continue to improve. For anyone celebrating a special occasion, I would simply recommend asking about the experience level of the student you're scheduled with so your expectations match the experience.

Therapists: I love that they have so many therapists and offer late hours, which makes scheduling super easy. I usually book male therapists for deep tissue, and they do an excellent job. Madriz and Tres are especially amazing -- very skilled, professional, and know exactly how to work through tension. Membership: I have a monthly membership and it's absolutely worth it. Great value if you go regularly. Theres different tiers of massage therapists. Keep in mind for tier 2 & up, you pay extra on top of the membership fee. The only con is that the prices have skyrocketed from when I first started coming here. Overall, Oak Haven is my go-to for consistent, high-quality deep tissue massages. Highly recommend if you want real therapeutic work, not just a relaxing spa massage.

I called to book since I had two appointments to schedule, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. My fiance had been for a massage here once before, but it was my first time. The check-in process was very easy, and my masseuse, Alisha, was very professional and friendly. I like that they don't use your time talking or asking a ton of questions- they spend that time towards treatment. I felt the massage was very relaxing and of course at times a bit painful!! However, I'm already feeling some relief since my appointment. My partner was also happy with his massage and is feeling relief. The pricing is pretty standard, and if anything slightly less expensive than other spots. We will definitely try to book more often because it's certainly helpful if you work a physically straining job and workout.
